After settling in Ul'dah about ten summers ago, he's made a life for himself via petty crime-- pick pocketing, nonviolent robbery, conning and scheming-- because... well, it's just what he's good at! At least that's what he says. It's hard for a barely literate immigrant with a drug problem to hold down a job in Ul'dah. Gotta do what you can to survive.
