Those who know Gehr'ir know him for his tenacity and tricksy nature. Gehr'ir frequently indulges in the simple pleasures of life and cannot be bothered with aught save for his personal happiness and spiritual well-being. He is seldom found in the same place for long and refuses to linger where unneeded. This character can disappear just as soon as he might arrive and his unpredictability continues to be a source of despair for his rivals. Those with thick skin and a capability to understand miqo'te body language will have a far easier time dealing with this character than others.

A P P E A R A N C E

Gehr'ir stands at five fulms, ten ilms and weighs one-hundred-sixty-something ponzes. Dark hair is worn short and the fur coating his feline appendages is impeccably soft and silky. Dusky skin is pulled taut over the lean muscle sculpting his body, with his back and shoulders being more pronounced from countless years of what could only be archery. Although it can be difficult to discern when he is being genuine with you, that short tail of his- paired with those long, short-furred ears- are incredibly expressive. Usual garb consists of buckskin and furs. Soft-soled moccasin boots adorn his feet and a visor is oft seen obscuring his eyes from view. He is rarely seen without a shortbow, dagger, or what appears to be a crudely made scepter strapped to his right hip. Arrows are made the old fashioned way with bone or obsidian heads, pine pitch, sinew, and dodo feather fletchings. They are kept in a quiver behind his left hip.

Scofflaw. His left pinky and right middle fingers are missing up to the second joint.
Painted. Visible skin on face, legs, and shoulders are oft covered with abstract patterns in white, teal, and violet.
When in Ul'dah. Can be seen sporting mage robes that would identify him as a thaumaturge of the Arrzaneth Ossuary.

Her time is oft spent in contemplative solitude, or in the company of her tribe's children. She educates them in the ways of the natural world, the aether flowing in and around them, and the small, but important role they play in all of it. Headcanons Although I strive to be as lore-plausible as possible, I will mention a few notables I have made for this character: ■ Traditional Male Naming: Keeper men typically have a suffix added to their first name to denote whether he was the first, second, third, etc. male born from his mother. Taligriff do this a bit differently. Instead of adding suffixes by mother, they add suffixes by matriarch. So, Gehr'ir would be the sixth male born under the Taligriff matriarch he was born under, in this case, Sanouk Seuhas, deceased at age 92. She was too old. lol ■ The Nose Knows: Gehr'ir has an incredibly keen sense of smell. He is capable of discerning a huge variety of information even from the faintest trace of odor. Things such as; what someone last ate, if they are ill or healthy, whether they are male or female, young or old, chemical signatures given by mood (especially fear), current stage of a woman's menstrual cycle, whether she is pregnant or caring for children, persons they have recently been in contact with, etc. It's a plot device and it's wonderful.
