General Information Koh’sae is a former Tailfeather hunter who decided to venture away from his homeland in the Dravanian forelands to start a new life and to forget about his overbearing Keeper Miqo’te family. He travels with a long time friend, Shuri Kahkol, who seemed to know the lands outside of Dravania and has other connections around Eorzea. Koh is a talented trapper and hunter and once he sets his sight on his prey, he’d never let them escape. . Appearance Hair & Eyes Koh'sae's hair is normally kept short to about chin length with his bangs parted toward his right. His natural hair color is jet black, but he has it dyed dark blue with green highlights. His short tail also is dyed the same with the tip colored green as well. He has heterochromia eyes; his right eye is a lime green, while his left eye is a deep sky blue (a glowing blue limbal ring appears around this eye when he becomes excited, due to a bond he has with a dragon). Physique & Markings Standing at a height of five fulms and one ilms, Koh'sae is quite short compared to other Miqo'te males, thus being teased as the runt in his family. His physique is of average build, though just slightly on the thin side. What he lacks in brute strength is often made up with dexterity and cunning when he's in tight situations. His facial features are on the softer side, though he is beginning to lose some of his youthful features. His face has the traditional Miqo'te Keeper of the Moon markings and his cheek tattoos are a cerulean blue. He also has an 'X' shaped scar over the bridge of his nose, a scar he received from his mother when he was exiled from his tribe at a young age. Hygiene & Attire Koh'sae often keeps himself clean, except when he is too tired and ends up not doing anything and goes to sleep. However, he has a sensitive nose, so he can't stand it without a shower for long. His usual attire are loose fitting clothes that doesn't restrict his movements, preferring cloth or leather armor over metal plating. Personality Personality Koh'sae is patient and quite timid, so he keeps to himself most of the time unless he is with familiar company. With those he trusts and are close to, he shows a more relaxed and playful cat-like personality. He has a curious spirit and loves to adventure and try new things. He does have his fears though, he grows incredibly nervous and scared when he is near females of any race for periods of time. Since majority of his family were females, he was often bullied or shunned as a child, and when his sisters went after him with their words and claws, they were fierce! Even until this day, Koh'sae bears some physical and mental scars from when his mother and sisters punished him for misbehaving or saw him as weak. However, Koh'sae does not hate women, he enjoys some of them, but personal reflex does deter him away from them if they get too close. When he is on the hunt, his timidness seem to fade away and he is completely serious and focused on his prey. Philosophy & Mannerisms Koh'sae often goes with the flow with things and keeps an open mind when it comes to something new that he is unfamiliar with. He is respectful to those he sees that deserves it and he is not afraid to voice his concern if something does not feel right to him. History . Sixth Astral Era Childhood Koh'sae was born and raised to a secluded Keeper of the Moon tribe residing in the Dravanian Forelands. He was the youngest in his litter and the fourth son of the matriarch Koh Nelhah. As a child, he was often referred to as "the runt" due to his short height and baby features as a youth and was constant prey to his older female siblings' bullying and teasing. The females in his family were harsh and fierce, not one to have filters or show mercy in their actions, which caused Koh'sae to develop a fear of women in general. He was also shunned for his heterochromia eyes and was the 'weakest' son that his mother had birthed. He never met two of his eldest brothers (who died or left the tribe before he was born) and the third brother who was killed by an Aevis around the time Koh'sae was an infant. As Koh'sae reached his pre-teens, he was walking on thin-ice with his family and ultimately messed up a hunt that nearly got one of his sister's killed by a golden bandersnatch. His mother was furious, almost killing Koh'sae while she was driving him away from their tribe when he was thirteen. He fended for himself out in the wilds of the Chocobo Forest for a few days, befriending a nutkin, and almost becoming food for an Aevis. Though luck was on his side and he was saved by a dragon, one that shared the same eye colors as Koh'sae. The dragon was led to the Miqo'te from an unknown force and upon their meeting after taking out the Aevis, they formed a bond with each other. The dragon vowing to protect his soulmate. For a few years, Koh'sae lived with the dragon, he called Shuri, until the dragon decided that the Miqo'te should live and interact with others of his kind instead of dragon kin when he became older. When he was sixteen, Koh'sae was taken to Tailfeather to live and become a hunter with the people there and adopted his new surname after his hunting master. This lasted for more years to come as Koh'sae became an adult and an experienced hunter. Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood After the calamity, Koh'sae decided he wanted to venture out in the world instead of being cooped up in Dravania all his life. His companion Shuri agreed to take him around Eorzea, where they journeyed through the Coerthas Highlands though avoiding Ishgard and her knights when they can due to their relationship with dragons. He became an adventurer for a short time, doing any odd jobs he could find to make gil and to have food and shelter. Eventually he found a free company that he can make use of his abilities to aid their cause and have a temporary home. In Recent Times Moving Forward WIP
