Chaotic Good AppearancePersonalityRumorsStoriesMusicOOCCredit Megetu hails from the Adarkim tribe of Xaela. She is short and somewhat stocky, carrying a little extra weight and muscle over many other women in her racial group. She isn't unattractive, with full lips and a slightly upturned nose, but she knows she doesn't fit the stereotypical Xaela woman stereotype either. She has dark skin with a reddish undertone, somewhat akin to the colour of burnt sienna. Her scales are dark and glossy, with a light covering across her cheekbones and the bridge of her nose along with the usual patterns on her body. Meg's horns are flat and pointed, and reach back well behind where her ears would be, were she Hyuran. She sometimes adorns her horns with jewellery for special occasions, but never on a day to day basis. Her hair is cut short and naturally sticks out at wild angles, no matter what she does to try and tame it. Voice: A little deeper than maybe people expect, with a lilting, pleasant accent to it characteristic of people from Doma. Clothing: Meg can often be seen wearing robes, both simple and more elaborate, day to day. When doing things with swords, she prefers light or medium armour, (she HATES plate and doesn't understand why everyone wears it in Eorzea,) and when healing generally keeps the same robes she wears day to day on. She can, however, 'scrub up well' as the saying goes, and when she makes an effort to get dressed up she often impresses. Megetu is the word 'sass' personified. She often makes snarky and sarcastic remarks under her breath, while still retaining respect for her elders and those higher up the chain of command than her. She only tends to backchat her peers and those she sees as 'less than' her, which is generally a status only awarded to people who've somehow pissed her off or betrayed her friends. Aside from her sarcasm, Meg is, overall, a decent person. She spends a lot of time doing what she thinks is right, even if it goes against others' morals, or even the law from time to time. As long as it's for the greater good, Meg sees nothing wrong with the kinds of things she does. Having been brought up an Adarkim, Meg is prone to get something of a bloodlust when fighting and occasionally finds it hard to know just when to yield or have mercy. She will always aid the poor, hungry, and helpless. Likes Friends: Meg will latch onto anyone and pretty much consider them a friend from the get-go if they're nice to her. She hands out linkpearls like they're going out of fashion. Sharlayan Astrology: What started as a little bit of a fun research project once she reached the shores of Ul'Dah has turned into an obsession of sorts. Meg spends a lot of her free time researching it. (And trying desperately to get her hands on some Sharlayan cards.) Helping the Needy: Meg knows what it's like to exist on little food and water, with nowhere to sleep. She is thankful that, after taking on a few healing and swordswoman contracts here and there, that she has been able to afford to rent a small apartment. Though it has little more than a bed and some books, it is still very precious to her. Dislikes Garleans: Having seen what they did to the people who instigated the uprising in Doma, Meg has an extreme hatred for all Garleans. Bigots & Bullies: Being a good person at the root of it all, though she is a gossip, Meg hates maliciousness and cruelty to others. She's far too welcoming and motherly to tolerate it. Fears Fire: A fairly logical fear, Meg doesn't like uncontrolled fire at all, and hates poorly controlled fire magic even more. Being Lonely: While Meg doesn't mind being alone, she hates feeling lonely.
