General Information One among the many displaced Ala Mhigan refugees to have come to the Eorzean city-states, Isaac has carved out his place in Eorzea as Captain of the Wardens in the free company, the Verdant Enclave. Coming from a military background and with a determination that will not be shaken the man spearheads the charity initiatives that the Enclave undertakes regarding rendering aid to those in need of more than gil and a place to stay. He works with Lihli Nherusa in their personal mission to create a better place for all Eorzeans; through the Enclave, they accept pleas for help and directs the Wardens under his care for such things. When a task is deemed too small or out of the scope of a Grand Company that is when Isaac steps in with the Wardens to make sure naught falls through the cracks. In addition to his duties as the martial master of the Enclave, Isaac manages the logistics and trade that keep the Enclave supplied and running smoothly, while he leaves the production and research to the Haven side of the Enclave. Intimidation and articulation are the tools Isaac relies on to be a force at the negotiation table and there are more than a few merchants who act with trepidation when they know they have a meeting with the Highlander. ❝ What do you call a fish with no eyes? A fsh. ❞ Appearance Initial Impression At first glance Isaac is an imposing figure typical for most Ala Mhigan men with a broad and well-muscled physique. Breaking up the landscape of tan are the sharp teal eyes that sport an intense look when turned onto any individual and a dusting of stone brown hair atop his head offers a contrast for his naturally swarthy tone. Topping it off is a natural look on his face that is far from inviting, serving as a contrast to his gracious personality. Lingering scars across his brow and nose, which clearly mark at least one dangerous moment in his life, with the sharper lines of face can lead Isaac to appear unapproachable to the uninitiated. This belies the truth of how easy it is for Isaac to smile. Broad motions and exaggerated humor help to offset the dour initial impression and though Isaac has been termed a ‘grump’, those who share his company come to learn how wrong that label is. Presentation & Attire While Isaac can have silly moments the man prefers professional presentation. In business and work settings he is nothing but a reserved and stoic individual, intent on creating a commanding atmosphere both at the Enclave and when dealing with others in the name of Enclave business. This is where his frame shines as the tailored outfits he dresses in give him a gravitas to be respected and considered. Leveraging this aggressively when it comes to conducting trade deals and negotiation, Isaac is unrelenting in the way he projects himself as a dominating force. Personality Mentality Isaac has been party to both tragic moments in history and his own personal suffering and this has left him with a hardened mindset when it comes to making himself vulnerable. This is not to say the man is made of stone or cold hearted, quite the opposite, but Isaac is protective of himself and those he deigns worth his investment. Isaac also firmly believes in being the best a person can be, pushing others to continue to better themselves and always attempting to serve as a positive force in the lives of those he encounters. By training and creating a safe place for people to recover from their own hardships through the services of the Enclave Isaac feels he is actualizing the driving principles behind his mentality. Voice Isaac speaks with a baritone that has presence and smoothness behind his speech. Self-taught and renowned among his friends. ● Logistics: Natural at organization, Isaac handles the logistics and supply side of the Enclaves affairs. ● Negotiator: There is nothing quite like a sharp dressed and articulate Ala Mhigan giving you the stare down at a trade table. Combat Abilities ● Aetheric Battery: With a background in Thaumaturgy Isaac has learned to attune himself to surrounding aether and draw it in to fuel his spells. ● Expert Swordsman: Surviving a Campaign against the Empire and several years after in the service of Garlemald before fleeing has cemented Isaac's skill with a blade. ● Tactician: Overseeing combat has long been a specialty, and Isaac lends his acute observations to his allies in the field.

History Gyr Abania Early Years Isaac lived with his family in the surrounding area of Gyr Abania, hunting and fighting with his tribe and surviving the unforgiving terrain of his homeland with the tenacity befitting any Ala Mhigan native. As he grew older the man wanted for more, and tales of Ala Mhigos past glory was ever present on his mind. With the idea that his future lay in the city at the heart of his homeland he could only bide his time until he was old enough to steal away to the city and enlist in the royal guard. Ala Mhigo Recent History Accepted into the Royal Army and serving diligently, Isaac unquestioning fought for home and glory on the fields of battle wherever he was directed. It was here the man gained much of his experience and training in both the aetheric arts and martial combat. Narrowly avoiding being deployed for the Autumn War, Isaac instead remained at the border threatened by encroaching Empire forces. Cutting his teeth and honing his skill in skirmishes across the line that kept Ala Mhigo safe, eventually the downfall of the Ruin King and invasion of Garlemald saw the Ala Mhigan man go dark for several years before turning up in Eorzea. Just what happened in that time? Current Day Surviving turned into luck as Isaac met Lihli Nherusa at the inception of her alchemy company, The Verdant Enclave. Lost and without a purpose, and unwilling to submit to the suffering that his people endured in Ul'dah, Isaac committed himself to his friendship with Lihli and the vision she had for the Enclave. Through unrelenting dedication and unwavering devotion the pair have grown from their humble beginnings to lead a successful business and charity. Serving as the head of security, acquisitions and logistics Isaac ranks as the Captain of the Wardens within the Enclave.

I'm always looking for RP, unless I'm actively spamming PvE content. ■ Enclave Flyers: The Enclave has flyers advertising their charity services including a Clinic/Library/Kitchen, and list Isaac as one of the people to seek out. ■ Seeking Work: Isaac is in charge of hiring for the Wardens at the Enclave. ■ Petition for Help: The Enclave accepts petitions for aid, either for medical, food, or even armed services in the name of making Eorzea a better place. ■ Trade: Business goes hand in hand with Isaac's daily duties and he's the man to talk to when it comes to handling a deal. ■ Training: An experienced aetheric manipulator and combatant, Isaac trains many of the Wardens at the Enclave and is not exclusive to the business.

OOC Notes Player Information Player Note There is a lot of information on this character wiki, but it is by no means completely comprehensive. There are chunks of backstory that are left intentionally vague so that details can be later added as developed through creative writing or in role-play revelation. Feel free to use Common or Uncommon rumors freely, if you want to use a Rare Rumor as a plot hook or to spark RP, I would ask that you send me a tell first, to make certain it's alright. Character Lore Adherence Everything concerning this character that has not been confirmed by in-game lore should be taken with a grain of salt. Anything that has had to be changed because of lore shifting will be noted below. ■ No changes. Character Concept This character was inspired from a few sources. Sin-eater concepts like Wolverine helped to create the base while Isaac's fighting style with a blade is reminiscent of Wrath/Pride from Full Metal Alchemist. The goal with this character is to create a foil for many with a kind-hearted but stern individual, who can almost be seen as fatherly or sage-like. I could list off dozens of different influences but I hope that after seeing the effort I've put into this Wiki and his idea you'll be interested in getting to know him. Thank you!
