Hair & Eyes Rhel's eyes are really round, rather big on size, lively and observantly keeping check on her surroundings. Her eyes easily give away on what mood she is. Her hair is rather thin and she is constantly fighting to keep it decent looking. Nowdays she ties it on small, messy ponytail and braids. Physique & Markings It can be easily seen that she's in fit shape. She has wider hips, clearly fitting into pear-shape. Her skin is smooth, but gets blushed easily, especially when she gets worked up. Rhel is really self-conscious about the scar she has on her jaw, so she usually prefers to cover it with small band aid. The markings on her face give her keeper background away, but are really light and hard to perceive from far. Hygiene & Attire Rhel takes good care of her hygiene and grooming. She most often wears light and comfortable clothes that also serve practical purposes - such as easy to move with in combat. Personality Psychological Profile At first look she may seem a bit reserved - especially when it comes to new people or strangers. She doesn't really enjoy meeting new people, so she's generally rather wary of anyone new - or anything new at that matter. More than often she ends up glaring at them, unintentionally so, finding it hard to get along with introduction. Generally Rhel is on 'good mood', but covers it well with her constant skepticism and high pride, often giving arrogant or even angry image of herself to people. She has a softer side as well, which she doesn’t hide on purpose, but actually hopes that she could bring out better without having her bad temperament taking better of her. She is overall good willed and wants to get along with people despite often giving the very opposite image of herself. Her stubbornness can be either good or bad, heavily depending on situation and whom asked from. She is rather short-tempered and gets annoyed quickly, which can lead to misunderstandings easily. However, more than often it’s more of her being frustrated with herself and her inability to handle the situation calmly or expressing her true intentions. She doesn’t consider herself being the type to hold a grudge on serious matters, but can be rather petty about older subjects when new conflict arises. When it comes to more dangerous situations, Rhel can prove to be more careful than one might think. As with almost everything, she likes to avoid unnecessary things and combat is no exception, even though she does enjoy letting her fists do the talking. If she thinks there is a chance of losing, feeling that the situation is out of her league, she backs down immediately. In these situations, she can get immensely frustrated with people who rush in regardless the reason. However, during the battle, she can easily lose herself into it, completely ignoring her surroundings and forgetting to stay alert. Philosophy & Mannerisms With temper as Rhel's, she has hard time when coming across people with differing opinions. Surprisingly enough, her views and opinions aren't as strong actually as one might first think - she's just simply bad at admitting that she is wrong. Only thing she is really strong headed about is treating people as they deserve. She absolutely detests people who discriminate others, whether it's based on their race or wealth. Partly this comes from having witness the treatment of Ala Mhigan refugees in Ul'dah as a kid. Rhel often tends to stay on the back, mumbling to herself and commenting every now and then unless directly adressed. While annoyed look on her face and arms crossed on her chest aren't necessarily meant to come off as hostile as they might, she does have a bad habit of staring daggers at people without even realizing it herself. She swears she is not a sulking kid... but might as well be. History Disclaimer: Very much still WIP, stuff might get added or details changed! Sixth Astral Era Childhood Rhel was born into small band of keeper poachers in the Black Shroud and lived there ‘til around age of seven, when she and her mother left to Ul’dah to start a new life due reasons never told to Rhel. In Ul’dah Rhel started to act up, picking fights with other kids and whatnot. She did manage to make a one friend, an orphaned hyur called Fhlae, whom she became really close with. Eventually even Rhel’s mother, Nhena, took liking to Fhlae and took her in, offering food and a bed to sleep in to her. Around the time Rhel used to run away from home a lot due constant fighting with her mother - understandably so, coming home bruised more than often. When Rhel got a bit older, around her teens or so, she got involved with a small street gang and recruited to their ranks. She enjoyed the thrill of fighting, the excitement and feeling of actually being alive. Because of this, her relationship with both her mother and Fhlae started to fall in pieces since the two didn’t really like the direction Rhel was going. It all concluded with a big fight between Rhel and the two, with Rhel running away from home for few days until Fhlae went to get her back. During this time Rhel’s mother had disappeared, leaving Rhel blaming herself over the incident. As explanation Fhlae told Rhel that it was probably better off not knowing what happened to her, leaving Rhel only with more questions than answers and making her start growing a sort of resentment towards Fhlae. It wasn’t long after that when Rhel found out that Fhlae had hidden her mother’s last letter from her. While nothing important was in it, she was still furious with Fhlae that she had hidden something like that from her. This acted sort of as a last drop to Rhel’s bitterness and she decided to cut her off and leave to Limsa Lominsa, in order find work and live off on her own. Turned out that getting a job wasn’t as easy as Rhel had expected. Not having any sort of skills besides knowing how to hit people, there wasn’t exactly lot of options and little by little she ended up dropping to shadier side of the job market. She did what she was told to, not asking questions and just focusing on getting results. Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood Her attitude changed drastically after the calamity - it shook her enough to make her consider her life choices again. It did take few more years, but in the end she decided to withdraw from her current field of work, turning into small time thievery and trying to make money by selling the stuff on Limsa markets. While it still wasn’t something to do with clean conscience, it was the best she could do. However, since it didn’t exactly pay as much as her previous jobs, monetary problems caught up to her pretty quickly. She could manage surprisingly long with the savings left behind by her mother that she took with her, but with no stable income she found herself without a place to stay. In Recent Times Moving Forward Rhel ended up finding a flier about a company called Mana Hoarders, a bunch of adventures looking to hunt and research mana artifacts. She ended up joining them, finally getting both job and place to stay. When Mana Hoarders turned into Axiom, Rhel stayed with the group - after all it had pretty much become a home to her.

Most importantly, Rhel does consider her family as Rhel's mother took Fhlae in to give her a place to sleep and food. However, lot of stuff in the past put the strain between the two and Rhel can't bring herself to face Fhlae anymore. Nhena Lalah - ✝/? While Rhel and her mother fought a lot, she admittedly did love her a lot. She was a strict, understandably so with Rhel not being the easiest child, but definitely always thought her daughter's best. She disappeared when Rhel was at her late teens and was presumed dead. Phuvo'ra Nhubta - � There is not much to say about Rhel's relationship with her father. She was never really close to him nor considered him as her "father", as he didn't even officially belong to the family.
