His third eye is often proudly displayed without anything to hinder it. Despite his station as an engineer, he still retains something of a military presence to him. More often than not, he can be found wearing an insolent grin, as if he’s privy to some information others are not, or as if he’s played some practical joke that no one else is aware of yet. His posture varies dramatically depending on his level of comfort. If he’s allowed any amount of freedom, he will always appear casual and sarcastic. If he’s under a superior’s hard gaze he will stand at attention per his military training, albeit reluctantly. Scars & Markings: Victor appears to be relatively mark free thanks to Imperial medical technology with the exception of a stylized Imperial symbol tattooed across his lower back. Voice: A somewhat gritty baritone. His voice carries a venom that seems eager for a target. Clothing: Victor wears fitted black and red leathers, finding them easier to keep “presentable” than his uniforms. He keeps a few knifes handy at his belt, along with various small magitek devices that seem to power his tools, one being a thin rod holstered at his left thigh. When he does wear an Imperial uniform, or even casual wear, it is typically wrinkled or messy in some way that makes it just borderline acceptable. Victor walks the line between respect and insubordination with little grace, sometimes stumbling onto one side or the other. Rigorous military conditioning has taught him when and how to act like a good, obedient soldier boy, but at any given moment—especially if he feels he’s being given any amount of leeway—he will turn around and bite the hand that feeds him with risky ploys or outright disrespect. Priding himself on being a pureblooded Garlean, he feels the need to uphold the strength and tenacity his people are known for. He rarely likes to show fear, and will jump headfirst into reckless situations to prove his worth in the only way a young man without much to his name can. His passions are spent entirely on his personal research and his work in interrogation, both of which go hand in hand. Overall, he is an insolent soldier, a unhinged engineer, and a cruel man. Fueled with ceruleum, it can create a strong electrical charge. The design changes often as he tries to improve upon it in the hopes of making it look more authentic. Quirks: Delights in causing pain, but dislikes blood. Has a fondness for the aesthetics of magic, but doesn’t seem interested in actually wielding real magic. Love and hate are synonymous to him; what matters is how strong the emotion is. Keeps a journal written in two different hands which he references often. Work: Specializes in magitek development focusing on aether manipulation; however, his passion lies in interrogation and the experiments he performs on his prisoners.
