A difficult past follows close behind him on every turn, and an easy future lies forever out of reach; yet betwixt the two is where his humble soul found peace. Physique & Markings Slightly below the average height and weight margins for a Lalafell, although one would be hard pressed to notice besides perhaps one of the same race. Darker skin marks his nose and ears, and his hands bear the scars of a seafaring laborer - along his knuckles and the ridges of his palms, and mostly consisting of rope burns. There is also small scars present on the forearms, although there are none of particular significance. Hygiene & Attire Rather exceptional hygiene, as is expected of someone of scholarly persuasion. He frequently wears a fragrance that is both floral and subtly masculine. His attire is generally composed of Maelstrom uniform, typical Vylbrand formalwear, comfortwear, and any combination of these three. He wears them loosely, freedom of movement and practicality prioritized over a disciplined appearance. Personality Psychological Profile Stoic, steadfast, honest; - apathetic, cold, blunt. Always kind and polite around strangers, if not also a little distant. The trademark sanguine attitude of his kin seeps into his every mannerism, and he speaks with a cheerful temper. Voice I perceive Shiro's voice to be both alike to his in game voice and my own, as the two are 'somewhat' similar - as far as I can tell. However, I do prefer to think that his voice is more alike the one in game over my own. This is out of personal preference, and I leave that decision to you as well. Philosophy & Mannerisms Shiro is of the generic Lominsan persuasion, following Sea Wolf traditions and abiding by a strict code of honor. He goes about his day in a disciplined, organized and well structured manner. The grittiest and bleakest of worldly woes are handled with a detached and mathematical mentality, his outward cheerfulness betraying the inner preference of logos over pathos. Conversely, most matters of soul and spirit have a profound effect on his emotions. He feels great grief towards the many inflicted by metaphysical suffering. History Disclaimer: Shiro's history is reasonably obscure, and VERY inconsequential. Therefore, any hooks proclaiming Shiro as recognizable would require a similar backstory in the interested character. Furthermore, any deeds he was responsible for would likely have gone unsung. I do however, as always, leave it up to you in the end. Sixth Astral Era Childhood Shiro was born in Crescent Cove within The Footfalls of Western Thanalan, to a Dunesfolk fisherwoman and a Plainsfolk pirate merchant. His father spent a year at sea before he returned, before he found she had bore a son. Alas; he could not be parted from his crew for the four years that followed, only occasionally visiting his family at their new location in the Black Brush. In time, his mother had earned the gil to start a new life in Limsa Lominsa. The coming four years were pleasant, his father making the regular yearly visits to deposit wares into a stash below the home and give his (sometimes unwelcome) greetings - before he was lost at sea. The family struggled thereafter, Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood This is typically post calamity information, or information since the turn of the era (Domans & others not in Eorzea proper).
