Chaotic Neutral General Information Se is a woman in her early twenties who now seeks to live life as she sees fit. She's one known to lean back and let others play heroes and villains, only taking action in politics when she deems it necessary. She refuses to risk the life of herself or those around her unless herself or her friends are at immediate risk of injury or death. She's a matron and shoe maker with work expanding all over Ul'dah and sometimes the surrounding towns. She is friendly at all times with being somewhat snarky at random points, depending on her mood. Rarely will she use be rude or insult anyone. She's a very emotional individual and can sometimes get teary eyed but not actually cry. ❝ Don't believe what you see. Often at times she is wide eyed when she looks at people or things. Se's demeanor can be described as very friendly and often outgoing which leads to many interacting with her. Se's hair is a vibrant Reddish Orange hue. Her hair is extremely long; wrapping around her face and resting just to her lower back. Often times she will cut it short and leave it hugging just around her jaw and settling on the back of her neck. Her hair is soft to the touch. Physique & Markings Muzai stands at 4 fulms, 10 ilms and weighing in (without armor) at 115 ponze. The Miqo'te is well toned but not too muscular, being very petite and thin in conjunction with copious amounts of exercise to stay in shape. Despite her near flawless bronzed toned body, the woman does have scars that litter across her body with the most noteable one around her neck from the slave collar she donned. The other across the front of her right thigh, wrapping around the limb. Se's tail is about 2 fulms in length, with the tip seemingly flat... As if it was cut or bitten off. Hygiene & Attire Se actively cleans herself when she is not out and about delivering in Thanalan. She bathes at least once a day, if not more, even after exercises or other activities that requires her to do excess amounts of moving. As for her attire, Se wears things that are light material and can be occasionally seen wearing dark colored clothings when dressed professionaly but slowly melding in her own sense of style when dressing in robes and dresses; which is her typical casual wear. On very rare occasions, Se always wears gloves on her hand which dont come off for any reason. The same could be said about the scarf/belled collar around her neck. The only piece of jewelry Se wears is the Moonlet earring upon her left ear. Se loves to wear hats. Personality Psychological Profile Se's views on life is rather jaded when compared to the ideology of anyone and everyone around her. If what you do rewards you with success, be it morally or immoraly, Se will do it. She does not stand by the thought of 'there is a right way and then there is a wrong way'. If you can obtain your goals by whatever means, then what is right or wrong is simply determined by your own perspective. Coming to this belief system after spending summers in Ul'dah. However, this belief system is hardly known by her friends considering she always trying her to best to make them happy or is completely oblivious to her own actions. Se can be an extremely angry person when others get in the way of her personal goals, even though she herself may not know what those goals are at any given time. These temper tantrums can be explosive to a full blown brawl or as simple as giving onr the silent treatment. When she is angry it can be hard to calm her down though there is one person who can reel her back in with ease... She is prone to treat others based on how they treat her but no matter what, when dealing with her friends, she will always show them the utmost respect or apologize after a fight as she fears losing them over anything. It is common for Se to give compliments or speak to people of whom she does not know. The Miqo'te is one to make new friends and is hardly ever shy to introduce herself. Though more often than not, she is surrounded by those she knows and is constantly getting into hijinks. To catch her by herself is a rarity or a sign that something is wrong. Voice A soft gentle voice is the common sound that comes from Se. Speaking with hushed tones as if trying not to be loud and disrespectful. Often times she'll speak in an odd manner though doesn't realize it. When angered her voice can be monotonous yet still give off a thunderous roar that comes from her throat. When happy or pleased she can be heard humming or purring from her throat. Able to hold her breathe for a long periods of time, she is capable of traversing to bottom of lakes to fish for plants or rocks. ● Herbalist, First Aid: Studies of plant life and spending summers picking and making her own medicines while on the Steppes, Muzai has self taught herself to make remedies that can temporarily heal minor cuts, bruises and burns as well tending to broken limbs with slings or braces. ● Medical Treatment Having learned from a mentor, Muzai is able to perform aiding skills and treat illnesses to a high degree. In conjuction with her basic first aid skills, Muzai is quite capable of being a field medic. Combat Abilities ● Marksman/Hawk Eye: Muzai is an excellent gun wielder, being able to strike at long distances without even being noticed due to her constant training while in Thavnair. The gun itself is actually a gunblade which was gifted to her by a friend. ● Martial Arts/Close Combat:Because Muzai has a gunblade, she has practiced sword play in order to fully utilize the weapon. Though physical strength is not one of her strongest traits, she is more than capable of holding her own until help arrives. ● Quick Reflexes Muzai is an extremely agile and nimble and can be considered above average. Her small frame ontop of her light clothing allows her to soar through the battle field with ease. She has also been described as an elegant dancer when in close quarters combat due to the nature of her dodging. ● Body Usage: When under extreme duress, Muzai has been known to fight using whatever she can to survive. Using her nails to claw, her tail to stab and even her horns to gore despite how painful it is..

History From The Lost Diaries of Muzai Disclaimer: This is OOC information based on diaries from Muzai. This information isn't common knowledge, this is just to give people ways to meet or hookup IC with Muzai. None of this is set in stone and will be changed if need be to fit lore or to change her abilities. If you see something amiss contact me and I can fix it. IF you want to be included or even play out a scene of this I'm more then happy to oblige if it makes sense. Life on the Azim Steppes Upbringings Muzai was born into the Avagnar tribe on the Azim Steppes. Her parents, Erden and Bolormaa, had great expectations of her, all ready for her to grow up and take up the blade to become a fine warrior like her mother. As summers come and gone, Muzai was of age to finally go on her first hunt. Scared and nervous, the young Xaelan was put into a situation where she had to kill a wild animal to prove herself. Muzai didn't participate in the actual hunt nor did she bring herself to kill the already wounded and dying animal. Her father saddened and mother disappointed. They decided that fighting wasn't meant to be Muzai's calling. Having embarassed both her parents, Bolormaa passed Muzai onto a family friend who would teach her the way of trading. Muzai somewhat excelled in that but still had issues counting, reading Xaelic and overall remembering the basics. Bolormaa was ashamed that her's and Erden's first child lacked any real talent to offer the Avagnar. Muzai, not really knowing it herself at the time, was completely useless to her kinsman. Despite this, she tried and tried still... More summers had gone by, Muzai finally understanding more of trade expertise and bargaining. At the young age of fifteen, Muzai finally found a purpose and was able to offer skills to her tribe. It didn't last though. Some moons later, the Adarkim came and completely wiped out the Avagnar, Muzai losing her father and Bolormaa being injured. Taken captive, the Adarkim let the Avagnar adapt to their way of life, ridding the history books of the Avagnar name though some would still wear the name in secrecy. Muzai being one... Life was hell. Muzai now using her newfound skills to aid the Adarkim, but because of their numbers, she was unable to properly bring back adequate amounts of supplies everytime she went out to trade. This resulted in punishment. Either she was beaten or given to older Adarkim to have their way with her. Eventually Bolormaa was seperated from Muzai and the two never saw each other again. To this day Muzai is unsure if her mother is even still alive. So, she continued on, dealing with the abuse until she find out that the Adarkim were killing those who would dare use the Avagnar name within their tribe. Secluding herself entirely, the woman did her best to remain unnoticed, or at least, the best she could. It wouldn't be until five long summers later that Muzai's life changed once more. Now twenty summers old, she was old enough to travel alone and made many a journey ro Reunion where she learned a bit of Eorzea and even more expertise on how to be a better tradeswoman. One sun while visiting Reunion to conduct some trades for the Adarkim, Muzai was suddenly snatched up and dragged away from the views of other Xaelans and knocked out before being put in a cart and hidden away. By the time she woke, she was bound and confronted by a highlander woman who had sexually assaulted her leaving the young Muzai in tears and fearing for her life. Traumatized, she couldn't do anything but accept her fate... Muzai was paraded around in rags to strangers while in Kugane for suns. Exhausted, hungry and in pain, Muzai was just about to give up on life as she saw no way to escape. Hidden auctions from the public, Muzai was finally bought by a wealthy Lalafell noble named, Menevachi Mevachi, who saw her as beautiful and exotic. The man himself was known to dabble in the slave trade and saw Muzai as a very profitable investment. Spending a hefty amount of gil on the Xaelan woman, she was quickly thrown on a boat and shipped to Eorzea. On the boat ride, the Xaelan's trouble would only continue to grow. She was assaulted once more by two of her captors leaving the woman a broken spirit. Wishing to go home, back to before the Adarkim, Muzai weeped nonstop. Through mental wars with herself, Muzai realized she wasn't alone as she noticed two other Xaelans were on board with her. She got to know them but they were quickly seperated leaving her alone to her thoughts again. Losing track of the days, the boat had finally reached land, reaching the small port at Vesper Bay in Thanalan. The amount of time they spent there gave Muzai the time she needed to finally break free of her bonds and escape into the crowds and then Vesper Bay all together. She was free. Muzai had escaped with her life. However, being alone in Thanalan, with no experience in surviving due to failing to properly to learn back on the Steppes, Muzai thought she was going to die of thirst and starvation. That was until she came across a large white brick wall with bronzed gates and buildings that reached towards the heavens. Chatter that was deafening and constant traffic going in and out of the gates... Muzai has reached Ul'dah... Life in Ul'dah A new life Word reached Menevachi Mevachi that one of his prized slaves had escaped. Angry, he put out a bounty out on the woman reaching to the Black Shroud and throughout all of Thanalan. Deeming that Muzai had "stolen" his property. Herself. Money was hardly an issue making Muzai's bounty large to attract many a hunter. One of them being the Ala Mhigan hunter, Aesa Raven'ther, who would become Muzai's greatest and longtime enemy. Muzai, at the same time however, was amazed by the ongoings of the big city. Shock and awe lit up her face as she looked at everything in passing before finally reaching the Quicksand. She met a few individuals who cared little for her but she continued to tried to make friends... Then he showed up... Leonard Miller... A man who was outgoing, funny and was ever friendly to the young Xaelan. Quickly, she stuck at his side and even tried to teach her how to hold a blade properly, something she was embarrassed to do considering how she failed her mother. Eventually, this would lead to Leonard taking Muzai under his wing to try and teach her to defend herself. The two were always around one another, Muzai hiding behind him most of the time due to her timid nature. Because of Leonard though, this is where Muzai's silly persona began to shine and finally found herself. Suns had past as Muzai continued to make friends. One of them being Jakha Kha, who showed sympathy to her story. Another being Aesa Raven'ther, the bounty hunter. Quickly, the hunter brought down her wrath to capture the Xaelan woman but Muzai managed to escape, multiple times, which only made the hunter angrier. One fateful encounter ended in a permanent injury... A hand, covered in crackling aether, snatched Muzai by the horn. Hot to the touch, Muzai screamed as suddenly Aesa wrenched her hand, bending the horn with unimaginable strength. Losing most hearing in her right horn, Muzai managed to escape by clawing herself free. A moment to rest, Muzai cried for days as she couldn't find seem to find peace no matter what she did or where she went. Suns later, she found Leonard and told him of what happened... Within that same bell, Muzai met Ishaori. The two became good friends quick, Muzai finaly finding a shoulder to lean on whenever she was down and was able to seek wisdom whenever needed. Upon finding out her troubles, Ishaori took it upon herself to deal with Aesa which lead to the two becoming friends and forcing Aesa to withdraw from the hunt. It finally seemed like things were looking up for the young Xaelan who never seemed to catch her breathe in the reality of life. In the downtime from running away from hunters, Leonard introduced Muzai to his expedition team to the East. This is where she would meet D'ken. The two were complete opposites but it was evident the two got along and the two would always be found in the Quicksand. But hunters kept coming... They never stopped. Even after Aesa had abandoned the hunt, others took her place. Her friends were constantly looking out for her despite her best wishes against it as she felt useless being unable to defend herself. This would lead to a betrayal that caught her completely off guard.... One day while out walking with Jakha Kha, he turned on her, trying to collect the bounty on her. Fighting for her freedo., she was eventually knocked unconscious but was saved by, who at the time was her friend, Ashes. This bought her time to escape but she gained a scar to add to her injuries. Now aware that no one could be trusted except her closest friends, Muzai fled Ul'dah where she would stay with Ishaori. In her absence though, Aesa would return to rejoin the hunt after forming a temporary partnership with hunters alike in an attempts to recover her pride from failing to catch the Xaelan before. Ishaori confronted Aesa about this which lead to the two woman engaging in a conflict that would eventually be resolved. D'ken, at the same time of all this happening, left to settle Muzai's bounty with Menevachi Mevachi. However, not satisfied with hiding, Muzai returned to Ul'dah where she was confronted by Jakha a second time which lead to another fight. Muzai gained another scar but doing a better job of defending herself, not going down without a fight but was near killed when her head was slammed into the concrete wall and rendered unconscious. Taken to his company house, Muzai was taken captive and held there while under the care of Cho Daisho, who pitied the poor Xaelan and managed to manipulate the situation so she would take control of Muzai's custody. A few suns passed before news of Muzai's bounty was finally lifted by D'ken leaving the woman to finally be free. But things weren't settled yet. Aesa had to be dealt with and she was. Her and Ishaori had one final confrontation, leaving Ishaori no other choice but to kill the Ala Mhigan securing the last key to Muzai's freedom. Tears of joy flowed from her eyes that after near twenty summers, Muzai was finally free. Free from her horrors of learning to fight, the Adarkim tribe, her dealings with the slave trades and now her hunters. Muzai was able to do whatever she pleased... In spite all of this though, Muzai considered herself weak. She spent weeks speaking with a close friend who suggested bringing Muzai along to visit Thavnair in which she agreed. There Muzai began doing training of her own to further her independence without having to rely in her friends all the time. In Recent Times It had been two moons since Muzai left Eorzea. Upon returning, it is clear that the Xaelan has matured into a fine woman, now wielding a gunblade and more than capable of staving off enemies by herself. Though she is far from an expert in combat, the woman has found what she always wanted and that was the strength to protect herself and any friends who need it. Though losing a bit of her silly side, Muzai has become quite quiet in certain instances but will often let the playful side shine when surrounded by good people. Muzai was home... .

FAMILY AND OTHER NPCS Erden Avagnar, Father. ( ♥ ✝ ) - Of the Hunt. Character's Thoughts: "My father was a well known hunter but lost his life when trying to defend my tribe and family from the Adarkim. Sadly, our tribe was wiped out and absorbed into the Adarkim. It has been hard... I miss him so much." Erden was a hunter of the Avagnar who cared for Muzai very much. He was not tasked with raising Muzai as he was constantly out on the steppes with the others to bring home food. The last time Muzai saw him was when the Adarkim tribe came and wiped out Avagnar, Erden losing his life in the process. Bolormaa Avagnar, Mother. ( ♥ ) - The Soaring Blade. Character's Thoughts: "My mother was quite the warrior! She would always carry her sword around with her. The woman was definitely not one to disappoint, especially when it came to teaching how to properly hold a weapon! Something I wasn't too good at." Bolormaa was a warrior of the Avagnar and was, at the time, in charge of teaching young ones to fight properly. Bolormaa tried to teach Muzai how to fight but the young Xaelan couldn't bring herself to harm anything. Muzai was then passed off by her mother to a friend of the family to help her learn trade and herbal gathering. Menevachi Mevachi, the would be owner. ( ✖ ) - Noble in Ul'dah. Character's Thoughts: "The man who would've been my owner. I was technically his slave and he made my life miserable for moons when he posted a bounty on me after escaping his cronies. This star would be better off without people like him." Menevachi Mevachi is a Dunesfolk Lalafell who made his riches after pouring his investments into the Miner's and Alchemy's guild. The man takes pleasures in the slave trade finding beautiful men and women exotic for trade. Muzai was one such person and was kidnapped from the Azim Steppes. After being transported to Eorzea, Muzai escaped her captors and Menevachi put a bounty on her for "stealing herself", and demanded her quick return. Recently, Menevachi withdrew the bounty leaving Muzai a free a woman. Petula Fox, Friend. ( ♦ $ ) - Stall Owner. Character's Thoughts: "Petula is one of the first people to hire me as a delivery girl! We often sit and talk and drink tea before a delivery. She often tells me of rumors that are going about." Petula is a midlander around thirty summers and is a good friend of Muzai. She would task the young Xaelan with delivering foods and small packages to fellow stalls on the Sapphire or Ruby exchange. While the two never really speak outside of working hours, the two always make up for it during high sun with idle chit chats with Petula teaching Muzai some tradeskills.

Leonard Miller, Friend. ( ♥ ♦ ✔ ) - The Hero of Ul'dah Character's Thoughts: "Leonard was my very first friend upon reaching Ul'dah. His goofy personality has constantly kept a smile on my face and he has saved me countless times from harm. If it wasn't for Leonard, I'd probably be dead within the first three bells walking through the city's gates." Leonard was one of the first people Muzai had met upon stepping forth inside of Ul'dah. Even at one point being her mentor. All the while Muzai had developed feelings for him but never acted upon them for particular reasons. Lately, Muzai has put thise emotions aside when around him and tries to remain friendly with the man, often acting spiteful due to his carefree attitude. Through all of this though, Muzai still cares deeply for him though wont admit to it openly. D'ken Eir, Adoptive Father. ( ♥ ✔ ) - The Ever Stoic. Character's Thoughts: "He is my dad. He officially adopted me after confronting Menevachi Mevachi and convinced him to drop my bounty. He refuses to explain to me how he did it but I feel it may be for the best if I don't pry. I care for him a lot and try my best to make him proud." D'ken and Muzai met through Leonard after he tried to assemble an expedition to the East. The two are usually seen together in Quicksand and while they have very different personalities, Muzai finds much comfort in his presence. Since he adopted her, she has been frequent in calling him "dad" much to his discomfort(perhaps?) and he has developed a strong overprotective attitude towards people who he doesn't trust that have become acquainted with Muzai. Recently he has gone missing, much to the dismay of his adoptive daughter. Ishaori Gundyr, Closest Friend ( ♥ ♦ ✔ ) - Of the Desert Character's Thoughts: "Ishaori is one of my closest friends. Without her and her family, I could've been... Well, let me just say, I would do anything for her just as she has put herself in harm'way for me. It's the least I could do for Ishaori." Muzai and Ishaori met one random sun through Leonard and Muzai was ever clung to the Highlander, seeking advice or visiting her in the Lavendar Beds along with Ishaori's daughter, Edana. Just as D'ken dealt with Menevachi's bounty to stop bounty hunters; Ishaori faced down one of Muzai's biggest threats, Aesa Raven'ther, securing the young Xaelan's freedom all together. Aesa Raven'ther, Bounty Hunter ( ✖ ✝ ) - The Raven of Ala Mhigo Character's Thoughts: "The woman who bent my horn and had hounded me for moons. She is ruthless and uncaring and while I don't condone in the killing of others, Aesa had it coming for all the lives she's ruined or ended. I feel bad for Ishaori having to be the one to end it..." Aesa, a bounty hunter, hunted Muzai relentlessly. She even gave her a nickname that some of her friends use, Crookhorn. The Ala Mhigan woman was strong with corrupted aether and used it to go after Muzai's friend. Attacking Leonard and others and then eventually setting her sights on Ishaori. The fated fight ended with Aesa dying leaving Muzai to be free from her constant chasing. For moons she tormented Muzai and her friends and now it's over. However, it's been found out Aesa was resurrected by unknown means. Though the Ala Mhigan hasn't come after Muzai yet, the Xaelan is ready for her this time. Jakha Kha, The Hunter ( � ) - The Viper Character's Thoughts: "A man who I considered one of my closest friends. We always sat and talked on a bench in Ul'dah. That all changed though when he turned on me and tried to catch me but... That was in the past. I've learned to move on despite my of my friend's constant worrying." Jakha, like Aesa, was a bounty hunter who was much more cunning than the Ala Mhigan. Using his words, managed to lure Muzai into a false sense of security before turning on her. He is the one who gave Muzai her scars. Jakha has attacked her twice, the second time near killing Muzai. However, because of Muzai's forgiving attitude, once her bounty was dropped she forgave Jakha and decided it would only bring more harm should she hold onto her hate. Muzai is unsure how to proceed with him should they meet again. Cho Daisho, Mentor( ✔ $ ) - The Good Doctor Character's Thoughts: "Doctor Daisho is currently my mentor when it comes to practicing the medicinal arts. It's quite a challenge but she has shown me quite a bit and how to properly perform certain actions when caring for others. Though the setting is a bit uncomfortable for me, I am pleased to have one such as her teaching me." Cho is Muzai's mentor. Though the relationship between the due is strictly business related, Muzai looks at her with much respect, having cared for Muzai after she was near beaten to death by Jakha. Interestingly, Cho offered to teach the Xaelan at her office despite it being in a place that mentally and emotionally traumatized her. Trusting that the doctor would keep her safe, Muzai continues to study beneath her. Zeke Larardine, Friend( ♦ ✔ ) - The Magician Character's Thoughts: "Zeke and I became friends through Leonard. Those two are always getting into silly antics, much to the point I wonder how the both of them are still alive considering the amount of craziness I've seen them do. Why... This one time they dressed as women..." Zeke and Muzai have grown close as friends. The two can often be seen together outside of Quicksand talking about life in general. While looking for work, Muzai has agreed to working with Zeke with his treasure hunting in order to further her experience in adventuring. She has also taken a liking to his baked goods. Beatrix Sirins, Friend( ♦ ✔ ) Owner of Cafe Luna Character's Thoughts: "I met Beatrix one sun when I was with Zeke. I forgot about what it was we were talking about to be perfectly honest but now she has become one of my closest friends. More often than not we are causing michief to those around us or just to Zeke in general." Muzai sees Beatrix as a sort of confidant. Whenever the two talk, it seems Muzai is able to converse freely and openly with the woman which at this point is a breathe of fresh air. Having someone to talk to is a god send while in Ul'dah. Kalen Ken, Friend( ♥ ★ ✔ ) The Paladin in Training Character's Thoughts: "Kalen and I kind of met randomly. I think it was outside of the Quicksand? Either way, he has become a good friend of mine and whenever we cross paths there is always a conversation to be had. Always pleasant and a gentleman at that." Muzai sees Kalen as a sort of confidant. She has told him more of her past than most of her other friends due to the fact there is a sort of trusting aura that Muzai sees when around him. At times she feels like she rambles a bit too much about it to him and feels embarassed and stupid whenever she realizes.

RP Info RP Limits I like to consider myself a flexible player who is willing to commit to a number of different types of scenes and role-play scenarios, but even I have my limits. When it comes to combat RP I am fine with either rolls or freeform. I usually base fights around 3 - 5 rolls to avoid long drawn out fights. If you wish to go longer, communicate with me and we can have fun! ■ I will playThe damsel in distress or friend or shoulder to cry on or being kidnapped. Se is meant to be mentally fragile and a support type character who will occasionally have story arcs of her own. Mature content (Excessive Language) and themes dealing with: Violence, Kidnapping, Drug or Alcohol use or abuse, Torture. These must be story driven or used as character developement for your toon! Ask about Long-term and/or permanent injury. Long-term captivity or imprisonment. Rape and character death plots. ■ I won't play Pure heroics except for those she's close to. I don't want her to die anytime soon so her death is on hold if never. A villain type character or something that requires her to do something which results in maiming or killing another toon, unless in extreme situations. Godmoding. If your character is omnipotent being with no real reason as to why other than you saying so, I will Godmode right back to avoid further conflict to Se. Anything that forces Se to be OOC. RP Hooks While the below is by no means comprehensive, it's a kind of spring board for walk-up RP. Longer plots that are meant to run for more than a few quick RP's, please feel free to send me a tell so we can work out a good reason for our characters to get to know one another. I'm always looking for RP, unless I'm actively spamming PvE content. ■ Mining - Se was a very well known miner in Ul'dah and has developed a reputation for being one of the best. While she doesn't mine anymore, she is still quite knowledgeable in the profession. Mayhap you have questions? ■ Shoe Making - Se has taken a job as making shoes since quitting being a miner. It is a job she has taken quite the interest in. Need any repairs done or something made? ■ Fighting - Se cherishes strength above all else. Therefore she is prone to fighting or watching spars. Want to have a fight? Seek her out. ■ Thanalan - Rarely will Se leave the comforts of Thanalan to explore other parts of Eorzea. Have you seen her perchance? ■ Tea - Se loves tea and is known to make splendid batches. Perhaps join her for a cup? ■ Cooking - Se has recently taken up cooking though she is quite bad at it. She loves to learn so maybe you could teach her... Or perhaps be her guinea pig? ■ A night on the town - Se loves to go out have fun! She doesn't drink though.. Maybe you could convince her? ■ Aether - Se has recently begun looking into Aether to further her own abilities. Mayhaps you can teach her something or be a mentor? ■ Weaponry - The woman collects all types of weapons from people she has beaten in combat ranging from swords to axes.
