General Information ❝ Everything I do, I do for myself. ❞ Appearance Eyes Hair Skin Build Voice Emerald green Varies from bright golden blonde to platinum. A healthy pink glow, suspiciously flawless. Highly curvaceous with surprising musculature. Either soft-spoken and pleasant, or commanding and authoritative. Bearing Laterality Scars Markings Style Relaxed, aloof Ambidextrous, but favors right. For all her battles, she is deceptively unmarred. Strange, extremely faint markings on her arms and back. Typical Ishgardian fashion when necessary; otherwise, casual and relaxed. Easy to move in. Hair & Eyes Jenivieve's hair never seems to grow longer or become shorter unless she wills it, and even then it always seems to be the same length after each new hairstyle. She is well-kept, never a strand out of place, straight as a pin until the ends curve up and outward. Her emerald eyes are always crystal clear, even as she tends to space out and look elsewhere. Sometimes, when the light catches them, they look deceptively silvery, as if a film had been placed over the original hue. Still, her gaze is described as soul-piercing, and she is much more perceptive than she wants people to believe. Physique & Markings For someone who boasts a considerable amount of magical prowess, Jenivieve's physique is that of a fighter, despite having a well-formed hourglass figure. Under her clothes, she has the musculature one would expect of a fistfighter, and the reaction time of one to boot. Yet, in spite of all this, Jenivieve's skin is entirely unmarred--strange, given that she has many dangerous stories of her previous adventures. One would say that a person like her wouldn't exist normally. Hygiene & Attire With her upbringing, Jenivieve was taught the ways of hygiene early on, and prides herself on how good she takes care of herself. Clothes are always clean and freshly-pressed, she dotes on her hair daily, sometimes even twice so. Any makeup she wears, if she even does, never runs and is perfectly maintained. She would rather become a hermit, than let anyone see her disheveled, as it takes away from her perfected image. For her wardrobe, Jenivieve wears a lot of black and vibrant purple--the colors of once-noble House Ravendale. The one strange thing about her attire, is that she often wears a hair clip fashioned of black-tinted cherry blossoms; something she has said that reminds her of a personal, long-reaching goal. Personality Psychological Profile Despite whatever hardships she's gone through in her life, Jenivieve greets everyone and everything with some form of smile. She is a gung-ho type, ready and willing to throw herself into every new venture with gusto. She isn't one to dwell on the past overmuch, deciding that what's happened has already past, and there is no point in regretting choices. However, she tends to be strangely cryptic and dismissive when she is asked to reveal too much of herself, and it is hard to pinpoint whether or not it's a defense mechanism, or something else entirely. Voice Regardless of how soft-spoken and friendly she comes off as, there is a commanding, authoritative undertone to Jenivieve's voice that she just cannot seem to mask. One would think that it is a byproduct of the old days, of her old adventuring life, but with that, and how she carries herself, it could be said that she is used to being in positions of leadership. Philosophy & Mannerisms Jenivieve is ever an "action first, questions later" kind of woman when it comes to actual actions taken, despite her upbringing as a spymaster. Yet, she is never without some sort of base knowledge, and believes that one needs to collect all information they can about a situation before diving in. That being said, she is extremely keen on throwing punches at people she doesn't like, citing that no information is needed when it comes to some of the scum she's had to deal with. Preferences Likes ● Coffee. The darker, the stronger, the better. ● Corvids. It's in her name, after all, and who can resist the fluffy, black-feathered birds? "They're so smart and compassionate!" ● The sky. Flying through it, gazing up at it. Counting the stars. She's always been in love with it. ● Good food, and good company. These usually go hand in hand, but they're not mutually exclusive to each other. She's learned to appreciate the little things. Dislikes ● Evil for the sake of evil, or good for the sake of good. Both feel like a waste, neither one having a set goal. ● Jobs falling through. Time is money, and when a job doesn't work out, that means she doesn't get paid. ● The Holy See, specifically. Corrupt religious zealots are some of the lowest on her list, and for very good (personal) reason. ● False information. Yet another waste of time, and a waste that could end up leading to things lost. Skills ● Spymaster and information broker. Need some facts? Need to spread some rumors? If you have the money, she's your woman. ● Impressive knowledge of aetheric and esoteric fighting styles. ● She's a skilled orator, able to craft inspiring speeches from seemingly nothing. ● Surprisingly knowledgeable about alchemy. While she doesn't practice herself, she's very learned.

She just doesn't want anyone else to catch onto that. ● Unexplained Aura: There is an unexplained energy about Jenivieve that, for most people fluent in it, could be coined as a form of Echo, but it feels and behaves so much more than just that. Combat Abilities ● Transcendent: What Jenivieve calls her strange power, for lack of a better term. She seems to transcend the limits of any normal human or Walker/Warrior of Light, giving her abilities no mere mortal should be meant to have in the first place. It appears as though it can be controlled, to an extent, unless Jenivieve is under extreme duress. In these situations, strange phenomenon start occurring around her, oftimes in the middle of a fight: the area starts to crumble, strange weather effects begin to occur, centralized to the area. Rising pressure and/or humidity. ● Abnormal Strength and Constitution: As it's listed, Jenivieve exhibits feats of abnormal, nigh-superhuman feats of strength and constitution. Past examples include taking a blow from an enhanced magitek prosthetic and getting a hole punched through her--and she managed to get back up like nothing happened. She shows no signs of it ever happening to this day. A second example is that she was able to grab the leg of a magitek reaper and lift it, swinging it about in a circle before tossing it far away from the encounter. History . Disclaimer: . Sixth Astral Era Childhood Jenivieve is the oldest of former noble House Ravendale, a minor noble house in service to House Dzemael. As the eldest, she grew up with the idea that she would be married off to another noble house, possible someone from their patron House Dzemael, and was taught to be a highborn lady from essentially birth--however, she was also taught the skills that made House Ravendale famous: their work as spymasters/information brokers. The members of this House were lauded as being able to get anything from anyone. Jenivieve grew up far too headstrong to be a noble house's head lady. She very quickly became an activist for Auri rights the moment the "heretical dragons" entered the city, freeing those taken captive for execution and leading them to freedom. It was during this time that she met a young man around her age. There was a torrential whirlwind of an affair that lead her to disappearing for moons on end. Eventually, this was found out, and the entire family was accused of heresy and set to be executed. The night before the execution, Jenivieve found her freedom thanks to former Auri captives at the hands of Temple Knights. She was apparently the only one to have made it out alive. Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood Jenivieve does not talk much about what happened in between those years and the Calamity. She made her way southward and came upon Ul'dah, wherein she began to train her other forte: thaumaturgy. It was said that she's a natural, with a propensity for fire magic. She spent what felt like years honing her skills before the Calamity struck, and she was forced to stay in Thanalan for the next long duration. Eventually, after her training completed, she left Ul'dah to explore the world, finding that a sense of wanderlust had gotten the better of her. In Coerthas, she met up with a budding sky pirate crew known as the Rising Claws. For her skills in spymastery, they extended a hand to her to join their crew. Having finally found a new place to call home, she accepted. Though her nickname was "The Blackbird" among the crew, she begrudingly took "The Raven" from a previous crewmate, citing that it's literally in her name. She'd spent what felt like years with them. She has no real recollection of when it happened, but it was during one of the crew's many forays into the sky. Their ship had been shot down, sending the various members catapulting to their deaths, or at least their disappearances. Jenivieve fell into the Ruby Sea and was rescued by an outfit of the Blue Kojin tribe. Her most recent memory after the explosion is waking up in Tamamizu, where she spent the better part of a month recovering and training her aetheric abilities to focus more on healing herself. In Recent Times Moving Forward Jenivieve currently resides mostly in Ul'dah, the most lucrative place to ply her trade. Many wealthy merchants, Monetarists, and Syndicate members alike all play what she fondly calls "The Game", and she is one of the best at it. She's shown no interest in moving on from this particular city-state, but she also seems to be fervently on the hunt for information of her own.

If something is on the play list, assume it means yes, as long as it's within the context of the current play or ongoing plot.
