A'khirho aims to be a field medic of sorts. He's currently studying conjury and plans on learning alchemy later on. The lessons he's learned in Stillglade Fane further enforced his belief to not rely on conjury too much and wants to expand his knowledge on basic mending as well as concoct his own remedies by studying existing ones.

General

Given Name: A'khirho (ah-KHHEE-rhoh; the "h" represents the hissing/spitting sound miqo'te sometimes have and can be disregarded)

Nickname: Aki (by those who assume "ah" is part of the name), Kiro (family and close friends or those who bother to ask about his name)

Religion: He prays to Oschon to guide him while travelling but he's not too pious. He does, however, revere the elementals of the Twelveswood and tries to adhere to their will.

Height: 5 fulms, 2.8 ilms

Weight: 112 ponz

Complexion: brown

Hair: reddish-brown

Eyes: green

» He is a short miqo'te and has stopped growing a couple of cycles ago. He has light brown skin due to growing up in the baked plains of eastern thanalan. He makes it a habit to keep his hair relatively short but cannot be expected to fix it, leaving it perpetually unkempt.

Behavior

» He is very polite and courteous, possibly his way to show others that the miqo'te aren't savage, uncivilized beastmen or at least his family isn't. He tries to keep an eloquent scholar image but fails as he is easily excitable and his actual lack of knowledge on society breaks the image easily. He makes up for this by being quite friendly and accomodating to people though it can also be too much and he often forgets about personal boundaries and the like. He will immediately back-off when told, however, and would not go near again unless told.

Quirks & Tics:

» Due to his belief on the elementals, he has a certain limit to hunting game and would sometimes be seen giving his thanks

» He has that trademark miqo'te hiss-spit and it shows when he's very happy or very drunk... or both.

Elil, a roegadyn word that means "Exiled"

A'khirho's family used to be a part of an Antelope tribe that has branched off from the original due to reasons he does not know. Their branch of the tribe is considerably xenophobic and does not make any effort in making any relations with other races and even other tribes. There were already other reasons as to why they were removed from the tribe such as his father being a Tia when he was conceived and both his parents had no qualms on making outside relations and even went out of their way to involve themselves in matters that does not concern the tribe. The latter happened during the Calaminity and was the last straw and they were finally kicked out.

At this point, A'khirho's interest in becoming a healer started. After leaving the tribe, they moved into the shelter of refugees his parents helped out at. He and his sister assisted with aiding the refugees who kept on coming and only slowed down when people began rebuilding and most went back home to their families. A'khirho's parents took this as a sign that it's time for him and his sister to see the world and to pursue their own interests as they have already helped their family (and friends) enough.

His sister wanted to see the seaside city-state of Limsa Lominsa so she went to the west, all the way to Vesper Bay to take a ferry. A'khirho wanted to learn more about conjury so he headed north towards Gridania. They still visit their home in eastern Thanalan from time to time.
