Appearance & Personality

Though for a long time he possessed hair that reached most of the way down his back, dedication to his "hobby" has him currently featuring a short, surprisingly well done cut. It seems to vary greatly in the clothes that he chooses to wear, often mixing and matching depending on the situation or (more commonly) his mood. He does, however seem to favour garments on the more comfortable side, ranging from heavy woolen actons and sturdy leather boots to a set consisting of only a thin cotton shirt and shorts.

Seeing his neck and any part of his upper body would reveal a large, lightning scar that reaches from the back of his neck and down towards his forearms and waist.

Known Background

There are few that know how long Maken has been in Eorzea, and even less that were around when he arrived. As he tells it, after the destruction of his birth tribe back home within the Steppes, he was adopted into the Kahkol tribe with those who had been lucky enough to escape as their camp became flattened and torn up by the warring tribes that had no consideration for collateral damage. As they finally started to heal and move on, their choice of location on the fringes of the Steppes caused them to become harassed and attacked by any Garleans that came across their path. As before, it was not long before much of the tribe had become scattered and the status of many of its members unknown. Maken, having already become somewhat bitter and resentful of anything that he did not understand (and with being somewhat awful at any kind of navigation) ended up traveling far in attempts to find a place that could eventually be settled upon, though this time free of forever warring tribes and foreign groups. Eventually he arrives, at the beginning of his 15th summer upon the soil of Eorzea and he didnt realise just how much he was about to be getting himself into.
