General

Vincent Forsemart is your usual, run of the mill mercenary type of person with a sketchy past. His abilities remain solely with himself, not facing a situation to where he needed to as of yet. However, it is rumored that he is quite skilled with different types of blades. The son of none, Vincent walks a path without speaking much of himself but speaks loudly for those around him, including the Rising Claws. At first, his only known companion is Sayuri and she speaks even fewer words compared to Vincent.

Do not be confused for him to be the 'brooding' type, he is very much a loud mouth. Some would even compare him to a drunken sailor within Limsa Lominsa but there is a serious side to him. Especially at the mention of the group he is willingly apart of; The Rising Claws. He gave them his abilities and trust them with the most vital information yet even then, some of Vincent's past remains hidden to even them.

Vincent appears to be a youthful Ishgardian Elezen with long chestnut hair. Behind him is usually trailing a long braid which can be seen also wrapped around his neck twice and hung over his shoulder, the front being a bit shorter. He holds piercing sea green orbs and lightly sun kissed skin. He is often seen wearing long coats and a hat which will shield one of his eyes, usually the left one. If not, he holds a tan eye patch to shield the eye, due to being partially blinded within said eye and greets others with a large smirk and a lit cigarette between his teeth.

As of lately, however, he has been seen wearing more casual and relaxed clothing such as a simple cotton shirt and black pants, nothing too flashy as of yet. But hey, when you're relaxing, you don't care much for appearances.

He continues to make comments on how the heat and chill he feels is very different, possibly why he wears different clothing rather quickly.

Personality

Vincent's words are usually dripping with nothing but venom and sarcasm. He has his moments where he is serious but other than that, his words are laced with nothing but a two sided intent when first meeting him. Others have said he can be as sharp as a blade depending on the subject at hand and when it comes to him stating his mind, he is very blunt. Perhaps too blunt at times and he ends up paying for it sooner or later. He believes there is no need to hold back when speaking your mind, no matter the subject.

However, when speaking seriously he holds quite a darker tone laced within his heavy Ishgardian accent. And when he mentions a memory, he sounds as if he was describing the scene clearly. With some of the subjects he might bring up, others have a hard time following be it from not understanding the place or the people involved. It is rumored that he has seen much and is older than some might think. Yet before they believe him to be wiser and a changed man, he quickly retorts back to his old self.

Described as a shitter, a charmer and a observant man, you never can truly tell how Vincent is until you speak to him yourself and get to know him. However, some believe that he merely places a facade and people have yet to see how Vincent is truly. But be mindful, his words can be as sharp as a blade and as blunt as a hilt.

Likes ■ Tobacco. Be it in a pipe or rolled up, Vincent is considered to be quite the chain smoker and it is rare to see him without. ■ Blades. While it may have something to do with his nick name given to him by Orenji Kharn, Sky Captain and Dreadwyrm of the Rising Claws, Vincent enjoys his metal weapons. Perhaps a bit too much at times and is quite to get excited when seeing a new type of metal weapon. ■ Combat. He enjoys watching fights, be it spars or actual toe to toe with an enemy. Partially to blame for this resides with the Rising Claws as well. ■ Gambling. Possibly one of his top favorites is gambling. Fights, cards or even something smaller like who will get angry first, Vincent enjoys himself with gambling yet it is also another thing he gets in trouble for by others. ■ Secret Favoring: Sweets. While he won't admit it at first, he has taking a deep enjoyment in devouring sweets.

Dislikes ■ Noisy People. Whenever he is around, he enjoys the soft murmurs of others speaking of their days or utter silence but he loathes loud and noisy people and, due to this, on occasion may or may not threaten them with force. Anything to shut them up. ■ The Entitled. For some, there are street rats, for Vincent, there are the Entitled. People who believe they deserve the best for simple things that they may have done. He is one to believe that honor and respect at a higher rate is earned by multiple actions, not one. ■ Sour Things. The complete opposite to his secret enjoyment, he can't help but cringe and make a strange face when it comes to anything that is sour. ■ Magic. For now, the only true reason he dislikes magic is one of the most common reasons; He doesn't understand how it works fully. ■ Cowardice. Anyone that runs is a coward in his book. He believes heavily in dying while standing your ground rather than living as a runaway. But, perhaps, he has always been this reckless and only now found a reasoning behind him standing his ground.

Hobbies ■ Observing. For as long as Vincent could remember, he has always excelled when it came to observation and information gathering by listening carefully to the whispers and watching the exchanges at hand. ■ Writing. While he may not look it, Vincent is quite the writer alas no one has been able to obtain and read anything he has written as of yet. ■ Sparring. One that shouldn't be surprised of, if he enjoys gambling on fights, he is more than willing to take apart of them and train with others. Currently, with the permission of Sayuri Oinari, he has taken up also training others with the craft of a blade in combat.

Allies ♥ Romance – ♥ Attraction –● Friendly – Orenji Kharn ● - The Dreadwyrm; Sky Captain of the Rising Claw Strong Willed, open minded and perhaps a bit too naive at certain subject, Orenji has gained a place in Vincent's life from the moment Sayuri Oinari and Orenji Kharn. To Vincent, he is a rare type of man and holds goals that he actually agrees with and is willing to stand behind one hundred percent. Since Orenji's engagement to Sayuri was announced, he did not mind him becoming apart of the family since he already saw him as a brother. -- A rare man. One I take pride in working with. Sayuri Oinari ● - The Onna Bugeisha; Head Elder of the Kitsune Clan A lone woman whom stumbled upon Vincent long ago, Sayuri was the first to have a connection with Vincent. They both understood each other's plights and held a taste of what they may face within the future. Through this understanding alone did the two quickly become allies. With time, they learned each other's ins and outs, their ticks, anger tells and annoyances. They held more childish bantering than any meaningful words at first. Yet surprisingly, a common enemy gave Vincent the moment he needed to show he held some affection for the Miqo'te woman. And as did she. Since then, the two have grown closer and protective over one another. Their childish bantering is more flirting than anything and while they did use to see each other as romantic partners, it is now more friendly base and seems to be moving down a different path. -- "With our first meeting, I was surprised she didn't deck me right then and there. I've grown attached to that woman quickly and would do anything to keep her happy... Seriously, ever seen her angry? That woman could make Garuda shiver in her boots.. I love her, aye.. But the Gods did not favor that. But so long as I can keep her in me life, no matter it what way, I'm happy with just that.

Emelc Vrand ♦ - The Stalker In the beginning, he didn't know much of Emelc, aside from the fact that he was a man who was known to attend the Grindstone. Vincent even bet on the man a few times when it came to the fights. However, due to recent interactions and causing the mind of Nahare Rahz, his lover, to snap, Vincent now sees Emelc as his sworn enemy. -- "I'll kill him if I ever see him again. I will search the ends of Hydaelyn for the man and will not rest until his blood has stained my hands.."
