Oschon. ■ ALIGNMENT... Lawful Neutral. General Information Chand’a Lhani is a courier, part-time dealer at the Platinum Mirage, and former busker, most commonly seen in the city of Ul’dah. He tends to keep to himself and does not often linger in conversation or crowds, but can sometimes be seen along the Sapphire Avenue Exchange selling intricately carved wooden trinkets of no practical value. ❝ We need to bury it. ❞ Appearance Eyes Hair Skin Build Voice Pale Orange. Black. Dark olive. Wiry. Raspy. Bearing Laterality Scars Markings Style Reigned confidence. Ambidextrous. Blade and bullet. Freckled. Functional, eclectic. Hair & Eyes Mid-length hair, neatly kept. Feathers or beads are often found braided in. Pale orange eyes that seem quick to shift away when met. Simple makeup. Physique & Markings A wiry build, slender but strong. Freckled. Extensive blade scarring over his belly and sides. Bullet scars over his collarbone and along inner right thigh. Blade scar over his brow. Tongue piercing. Hygiene & Attire Usually seen in practical, well worn traveling clothes. He takes care to treat his gear with respect, most notably the fine quiver often slung over his back. His personal hygiene borders on excessive, often retreating to bathe more than once a day. He seems paranoid of being seen out of sorts or sullied, despite the often dirty nature of work. The places which he calls home are similarly meticulously cared for, even if the clutter of his work might mar the pristine cleanliness from time to time. Personality General An often aloof miqo’te that spends a great deal of time watching the world go by. He seems unhurried most days, but sometimes can be caught with a sense of urgency to his step and a strain in his expression. His words seem more measured than one might expect of a Keeper supposedly hailing from the forests of the Shroud, cautious even in casual conversation. When questioned of his family his smile often thins and his eyes tend to avert. Quick to evade and redirect, it’s often difficult for anyone to glean much of his life. He is patient when tested in public, but a sharp tongue and sharper dagger point await those who seek to delve too deeply into his personal affairs. His temper is quick and sudden and he often, sometimes unintentionally, comes off as nothing more than a hostile jackass. Despite this, he seems capable of apology and restraint, except when it comes to those that harry him with incessant questions. Chand’a is fiercely protective of his private life to the point that it is not unusual for him to consciously cut contact with those who have known him just a bit too long or ask too familiarly. The very few long time friends he associates with are those in the dance troupe he previously belonged to, but they are very rarely seen consorting together in public. Voice His voice is low and raspy, sometimes coming out in no more than a mumble. Drunkenness only seems to intensify this mumbling, though not often seen in public. Philosophy & Mannerisms Engages most people from a distance, navigating social relationships very gingerly. The tail that endlessly snaps to and fro behind him belies the easy smiles and relaxed posture he might adopt. Non-Combat Abilities ● Scouting: Quick and silent through both city streets and the wilds, Chand'a has occasionally lent his services to various causes for coin. Combat Abilities ● Marksmanship: Mastery of ranged weapons often has him behind the front lines firing from within the shadows of a suitable vantage point. ● Acrobatics: Necessitated by the often close-quarters of conflicts in the streets and alleys of Ul'dah, Chand'a displays remarkable ability using his surroundings to his advantage. It is not unusual to see him parkouring his way to victory or retreat. OOC Note I prefer freeform combat, but also rely on dice in situations where both characters seem more evenly matched and it's requested. I've no problem with Chand'a getting his ass kicked (and often) so long as there's no blatant god-moding that wasn't agreed upon beforehand.

History Sixth Astral Era Childhood When he arrived in Ul'dah at the age of sixteen he earned his coin through menial work and sideline entertainment at the bloodsands. Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood Several years after the Calamity he turned up in Ul'dah again working as a busker in a common dancing troupe. A year ago he disappeared, returning several months ago with less of a smile and no further apparent inclinations to perform. He earns most of his money through trinkets and furniture which he crafts, though also maintains fairly steady courier work. In Recent Times Moving Forward After completely gutting his property in the Goblet, he seems to be considering various business ventures that could utilize the workshop he's built. He's also picked up a near-obsessive gardening habit somewhere along the way...

File:Gremio.png ♥ Shoo Mammet A mammet named Shoo created by E'bhin Tia to help Chand'a with gardening work and, more importantly, replace the shishi-odoshi in keeping pests away. The sound drives the Seeker mad, apparently. Chand'a, since acquiring the mammet, has filled his living spaces with tiny ladders and stairways to help the tiny automaton get around. He's also begun crafting a small house just for Shoo, but he seems to deny such a project should anyone discover...evidence.
