"The name you have is not often the name my heart knows." - Siobhain
Sil'tel is a young and enthusiastic Au Ra combatant hailing from the sandy Sagolii desert. Born and raised in a Miqo'te tribe, she is loyal to her tribe and follows the teachings of her elders. She is currently on a pilgrimage to seek out and learn from other tribes, and this had led her to travel to parts of Eorzea she has never experienced before. She does not easily adapt to other cultures, and this is makes her seem an oddity in social settings. She is a powerful fighter, and travels nowhere without her enormous sword. Sil'tel has a strong conviction to quell injustice and immorality, but is moral enough to hold herself to the same standards she would hold others to. She is an amicable person, friendly and accomodating, but naive and trusting. With keen battle sense and a deep sense of tribal community, the young Au Ra woman acts very like a Miqo'te with her friends, but has a steeled temper and a serious nature when on the hunt.
"A quote relating to body and physique goes here!"
"A hunt-sister says "I will go left!" and goes left. She will say "I have slain four!" and she has slain four... She can be trusted, because trust keeps fighters alive."

| − | ==== <span style="color:# | + | :'''Body:''' Perfectly average height and weight for a Xaela and with a body forged in the hunt, Sil'tel sports an athletic physique. While little sense of muscle tone pervades her appearance, she is not wanting for definition thanks to a highly active lifestyle. She has a generous bust for an Au Ra, but is slim in all other aspects. She is fully able-bodied, balanced and immoveable, and even when she adopts a casual posture she permeates a stoic countenance. Her abyssal-blue horns are small, simple, and elegant, running parallel to her head and ending in a point behind her. Her tail is equally nondescript, reaching to her achilles tendon in a slow-tapered point. |
| − | :'' | + | |
| + | :'''Complexion:''' While the majority of Xaela boast paler skin tones, Sil'tel's upbringing in the scorching heat of the desert has caused a year-round tan, resulting in a warm and rosy complexion. The demonic scales adorning the flesh around her neck, arms, sides and legs are abyssal-blue in colour, akin with her horns and tail. Desert fauna-based moisturizers keep her skin from becoming too dry and sun-damaged, but there are a few small freckles around her body, as well as small, barely-noticeable scars decorating her forearms, shins and thighs. | ||
| + | |||
| + | :'''Face:''' Sil'tel's constant expression is a mixture of mild surprise and determined scrutiny, this is evident from her gaze. Pantone-red irises surrounded by glowing crimson limbal rings make up her warm and entrancing eyes, set above a small nose, which in turn rests above a set of smooth rose-coloured lips. Her smile is simple and inviting, and comes naturally when she is not otherwise laughing or speaking. Her striking eyes and pleasant face culminate effortlessly to produce a complicated look that suggests she is scrutinizing and assessing but not being judgmental. | ||
| + | |||
| + | :'''Hair:''' Despite looking glamorous and wind-tossed, her hair is one area Sil'tel takes little interest in. Near-pitch in colour with scarlet highlighting, it is left loose and reaches down to her shoulder blades. It does not bother her to be so long, but she does not like it flicking in her face, she conditions it rarely to avoid it becoming silky. Sand-damaged and slightly curling at the tips of the longest hair, it is only on rare occasions she will cut her hair as she has only vague concerns about it. | ||
| + | |||
| + | :'''Fashion:''' Having been raised in a tribe, Sil'tel has very little care for fashion, or of decency. She does not cover much of her body beyond the necessities because she enjoys the freedom of movement and the warmth of the sun on her skin. She has taken to wearing skimpy and supportive tops, and little more than bikini briefs on her bottoms. While scandalous to more civilized crowds, Sil'tel's minimalistic attire makes her comfortable when roaming, and powerfully enforces an awareness to dodge and deflect attacks in battle rather than relying on cumbersome armour. She does, however, value a more solid defense for her hands and forearms, donning strong plate gloves. She outright refuses to wear heavy armour on her legs, asserting that long hunts and desert travel is made into an excrutiating ordeal if wearing any, so chooses to wear light footwear of cloth and leather, suitable for running on soft sand. | ||

| + | :'''Voice:''' When Sil'tel does speak, it is soft, inquisitive alto, light in pitch and possessing a playful air. Her voice breaks and she squeals slightly in her laughs and more excited outbursts. Despite all her physical mannerisms bespeaking a grown woman, her voice when she is at play or excited reveals a young girl. She does not sing often, only participating in group campfire singing, and almost never sings alone or in her own company. | ||
| + | |||
| + | :'''Demeanor:''' The abundance of good-will Sil'tel puts foremost in her actions come through clear as a rung bell upon meeting her. She simply does not appear to have a bad bone in her body. However, she often comes across as do-goody or holier-than-thou if one were to take her personal pride to offense. Clear to learn from other people and cultures, she appears quizzical when confronted by the unfamiliar, but seems to naturally understand how to bring out the more positive aspects of companions' personalities. At times appearing lost for words or frustrated with the bizarre-ness of a situation, she does not become flustered, but outraged and stand-offish. Misunderstandings when interpreting the actions of others as hostile or illegal is perhaps the only occasion when a smile will leave her lips unjustly. When Sil'tel draws her sword it is rarely out of jest, and those who come to know her for just one conversation understand she does not make mockery of combat. The aura that permeates from her has a subduing effect on those who would see her as a target, rousing a subconscious notion that she is unassailable. Intimidation is not often her desire, however, and she would much rather laugh and be jovial, marking the times when her action is roused as all the more noteworthy to those who cherish her better nature. | ||
| + | |||
| + | :'''Personality:''' Sil'tel's tribal roots and traditions guide most of what she does. If it was suitable and acceptable to say or do in the tribe, it's suitable and acceptable anywhere. She loves her upbringing more than most people would say she has a right to, and strives to extend her zest for life and laughter to all around her. She will attempt to coax good thoughts from people who are down on their luck or depressed, and not be too harsh a critic of their flaws and shortcomings. Sil'tel has found peace amidst a lifestyle lacking material wealth or comforts, an abundance of labor and warfare, and an unyielding environment. She genuinely cares for people of all backgrounds and professions, and does whatever she can to accommodate people asking for help or favors without a thought for compensation. She is extremely community-minded, and views actions taken against one of her companions as an action taken against her entire circle of friends. Tradition is also of exceptional importance to her. The decisions she makes in terms or morality, faith, honour, romance, justice and finances are all largely filtered through her understanding of the working structure of her tribes ways. She does not discriminate against race or creed, but will reprimand or reward all people equally according to her notions of tribal causality. A friend who steals is just as much a criminal demanding punishment as a hardened bandit. A murderer who repents is worthy of forgiveness she'd likewise extend to a friend. This equalizing view makes her capable of approaching even the worst people with an unbridled sense of cheer and optimism. | ||
| + | |||
| + | :'''Quirks:''' A lifetime of growing up in a dry, sandy desert means Sil'tel has adopted a reverence for cool water. It is an almost undeniable urge to bathe and cool off in bodies of water if they look refreshing. She is frustrated by Ul'dahn society for denying her the simple pleasure of drinking from a fountain, or bathing in ponds and water-features. Additionally, her lack of regard for decency often means embarassment for those around her. She has no qualms about being naked in front of those she considers friends, and while she is not prone to exhibitionism, her openness and lack of discretion can be startling and off-putting. | ||
| + | |||
| + | :'''Flaws:''' Her firmly-rooted sense of tribal tradition playing the foremost role in her decisions, Sil'tel's biggest flaws come from following traditions and morals that more populated societies views conflict with. She can be an overly-enthusiastic hand when her sense of justice is betrayed, acting all-too-swiftly to admonish even her friends when she feels a crime has been committed. Having spent her entire life around people she is taught to trust with her life, Sil'tel's most dangerous flaw is her willingness to believe and trust in anyone who appears to her as a friend. She is incredibly naive, and easily led astray by a silver tongue. Her sense of morality is also at odds with more modern views on society. She accepts that her husband will be chosen by parents, and that it is her duty to love him wholly, regardless of how suitable he may be or how little he may care for her in return. Well-meaning people will attempt to illuminate her right to choose her own partner, but do so at their own frustration, and often disappointment. | ||
| + | |||
| + | :'''Intelligence:''' Sil'tel's "intellect" is no less expansive than any other scholar, but her skills in utilizing information take a more lateral shift. She is well-educated in the art of reading, writing, mathematics, astronomy, herbology, biology and philosophy. She speaks suprisingly eloquently for a tribeswoman, a trait she picked up from her mother and father. She is a logical thinker, and a problem-solver. Her solutions to problems are not warranted for fancy outcomes, but take an approach more akin to "If I hit it here, it will bleed out on it's own. If I hit it here, it will die instantly." She is able to track game for malms on the barest evidence of her quarry, understands the shifting of the winds that denote a change in the weather, and is more than capable of living entirely off the land. Her unfamiliarity with modern practices and social culture outside the tribal lifestyle is her great intellectual shortcoming, a shortcoming she hopes to rectify on her pilgrimage. | ||
| + | |||
| + | :'''Religious Views:''' While her patron Deity may be Althyk, the Keeper, Sil'tel is not a pious person. She makes no offerings, prays rarely, and is only respectful of the Twelve because it is traditional. She has more time devoted to Menphina, the Lover, as this is the Patron Deity of her tribe. She considers the Twelve to be nothing more than a target to direct her thanks to the world at large for it's bounty, and only gives thanks to the specific Deities because it pleases her Nunh, the elders, and her parents. | ||
| + | |||
| + | :'''Romance:''' Sil'tel requires a brick to be thrown at her head before she will come to the realization that something romantic is happening. She is certainly old enough to be a partner for her Nunh, but given that her position as an Au Ra in a Miqo'te tribe is not usual, the Nunh has not invited her to his chambers. Having had very little male influence in her life, her only understanding of relationships is that her father is a good man, her Nunh is a good man, and that the traits those two possess much then be attractive and desirable. Subsequently she is uncharacteristically flustered by males who display qualities that remind her of them. She is well aware that the Seeker females of her tribe often indulge in relations with each other because attention from males can be infrequent, and while she whole-heartedly accepts and admires their ability to be intimate, she does not share a willingness to do the same. She has a very low sex drive, and is determined to save her virginity for her intended husband. The notions of romance are not lost on her, however. Her mother and father doted on each other, providing a positive atmosphere for Sil'tel to observe and come to her own conclusions about what is romantic, what is stimulating, and what Love is. | ||

Character
Name
- Given Name: Sil'tel Ferima (Sil - tel | Feh - ree - mah)
- Name Meaning: 'Sil'tel' has no meaning, it is a name created from no source, 'Ferima' was the given name of the Hyur midwife present at her birth.
Aliases/Nicknames:
- Sil: The only nickname she currently accepts with graciousness. She would not, however, find it suitable or pleasing to be called this by anyone other than someone she has respect or a personal interest in.
- Madam: A cute father/daughter-exclusive nickname used only in the home by her late father.
Appearance
- Height: 5 fulms, 1.4 ilms - Scarcely above average height for a young Seeker of the Sun Miqo'te woman.
- Weight: 99.6 ponz - Light on her feet in comparison to the larger races, but perfectly average for a Miqo'te.
- Body: Being scarcely a half-ilm taller than the average Seeker of the Sun, Sil'tel is still very much the picture of lithe flexibility and agility that stereotypes Miqo'te women. Her neck is slender and can swivel to deliver a look to anyone in the room assuming they're not directly behind her. Her collar and shoulders are close in to her body, giving her the appearance of a slight, feminine frame and comparitively enhancing the size of her breasts, which themselves are only a half-cup bigger than average. She would boast that her upper half hosts her most attractive attributes, but that would insinuate some shortcoming in other areas. Slender arms and delicate hands betray a strong thrust and grip, and only slight callouses on her knuckles dictate any notion of experienced combat. With a waist that is flat and slim to make efficient use of agility and maneuverability, she does not appear muscled, but toned and graceful. Flirtatious hips follow a sleek and beautiful line down her thighs, and an athletic, heart-shaped backside sports a lazy-swaying tail, topping a pair of slim legs that do not show a great deal of muscle tone until adopting a stance for combat. Dainty ankles and small feet complete a body that by all accounts seems more suited to dancing than to making war.
- Complexion: Sil'tel is fairer in colour than most Seekers of the Sun, an oddity compounded by a life spent in the sun-dried greater Thanalan areas. She herself admits she is prone to lightheadedness and sunstroke if overheated, and she has learned expertly how long she can spend in the heat to tan rather than burn. The lightest shade of peach, she has taken great pains to ensure that her skin is spotless, and only the merest scrapes of battle mar her otherwise flawless complexion. The fur of her ears matches her hair colour, and her tail is smoother and flatter than most Seekers of the Sun, having very little sense of fuzziness to it.
- Face: With a fresh, youthful face, Sil'tel is often cited as being younger than she is when taken unawares. Dialogue with her, however, reveals an air of smugness that radiates through her and makes her appear older and more skeptical. She has a small nose, decorated by a single horizontal scar, that sits squarely in the middle of her face above her naturally full, light-rose lips. She has a slight pout, but not so much to be noticeable as a recognizable trait. Two tan-coloured lines strike down to a point from her hairline to just above her eyebrows, and two strikes of the same colour caress both upper cheeks, angling toward her inner eye. On the crest of her cheekbones are two chevrons of white. Her eyes are heterochromic, her left eye being bright and red, almost the same shade as her lips, while her right eye is a much paler shade. Due to fever as a very small girl that affected her optic nerves, the pigments in her iris are mutated, and due to later retinal detachment Sil'tel has no vision in her right eye whatsoever. Regardless of this shortcoming, Sil'tel has maintained a healthy dental record, her teeth are white and all accounted for, and her face is free of any blemishes.
- Hair: A popular style with young Miqo'te women, Sil'tel has opted against long-haired looks and chosen a look that provides arched bangs that frame her face and flower out into symmetrical spikes over the side of her head, and fall in line with the pointed tips of her ears, making them seem part of the 'do. Short back and lacking in dangling locks, she prefers the freedom of movement without the hassle or aggravation of long hair being caught, pulled, or whipping her face. A vivid scarlet bleached by the sun, her hair colour resembles a pale canvas red, two shades more red than terracotta.
- Fashion: A combination of being proud of her looks, and a slight intolerance to heat, the Ul'dahn Sil'tel favours light clothing that is more revealing than reliable. Around Ul'dah and the greater Thanalan areas she's been known to travel in barest attire, almost akin to shortclothes. A wine-red hempen singlet that clings to her bosom and leaves the arms exposed, and a hempen pair of pantalette shorts with lacy detailing in a matching colour provide little in the way of protection, but allow her to keep cool, stylish, and light on her feet in the thick heat of Thanalan and the surrounding areas. A pair of attire-matching leather gloves adorn her hands and wrists. This may be the only practical piece of clothing she takes adventuring, as it softens the punishment her hands recieve while wielding weaponary in the field. Least functional of all are her wine-red heeled sandals. Sil'tel admits that they hinder her stances, but force her to adopt strong posturing in combat. Additionally, she prefers the way her calves look when she wears heels.
Behavior
- Voice: Sil'tel's tone is a light, playful alto that has the unmistakable forthright nature of a young woman. Her voice carries on the air like a chime, not loudly, but she does not have to raise her voice to be heard across a table at a busy table in an inn. She has two distinct mannerisms to her accent. Her usual accent is an upmarket, proper tone that belies a woman of high station and education. Her diction is clear and she enunciates words fluidly if not precisely. When startled, angered, or otherwise rendered senseless her voice loses all veil of high society and she will drop the emphasis on her harder consonants, like "Coming" reducing to "Comin'". This demonstrates that as much as she holds an air of superiority, that may not be her origins.

- ● Konner Kinkaid - A cryptically-speaking warrior of some renown. He has several times contacted Sil'tel with the intention of meeting to discuss matters pertaining to her interests. Regretfully, he has yet to win her respect, and continually downgrades his credibility by not treating her with the forthrightness and honour she feels she deserves from him.
- ● Seth Honeybrew - Having only just encountered Seth and some of the people he is surrounded by, there's little to go by. Sil'tel seems to have business with (or against) them, but this does not appear to register any particular emotional sway.

Her tail is equally nondescript, reaching to her achilles tendon in a slow-tapered point.
- Complexion: While the majority of Xaela boast paler skin tones, Sil'tel's upbringing in the scorching heat of the desert has caused a year-round tan, resulting in a warm and rosy complexion.
- Face: Sil'tel's constant expression is a mixture of mild surprise and determined scrutiny, this is evident from her gaze.
- Hair: Despite looking glamorous and wind-tossed, her hair is one area Sil'tel takes little interest in.
- Fashion: Having been raised in a tribe, Sil'tel has very little care for fashion, or of decency.
- Voice: When Sil'tel does speak, it is soft, inquisitive alto, light in pitch and possessing a playful air.
- Demeanor: The abundance of good-will Sil'tel puts foremost in her actions come through clear as a rung bell upon meeting her.
- Personality: Sil'tel's tribal roots and traditions guide most of what she does.
- Quirks: A lifetime of growing up in a dry, sandy desert means Sil'tel has adopted a reverence for cool water.
- Flaws: Her firmly-rooted sense of tribal tradition playing the foremost role in her decisions, Sil'tel's biggest flaws come from following traditions and morals that more populated societies views conflict with.
- Intelligence: Sil'tel's "intellect" is no less expansive than any other scholar, but her skills in utilizing information take a more lateral shift.
- Religious Views: While her patron Deity may be Althyk, the Keeper, Sil'tel is not a pious person.
- Romance: Sil'tel requires a brick to be thrown at her head before she will come to the realization that something romantic is happening.
