Her hair is a brilliant white, though often accented or fully dyed a delicate pink. Typically, she wears her hair up, but has recently taken to wearing it down due to popular opinion from certain people she's close with. Her eyes are a striking pink, accenting the soft features of her face. While pale, she does not appear unhealthy, but rather quite energetic and full of life. She always appears to stand strong, even under touch circumstances. While rather small compared to most of her kin, Xa'nyx radiates a mild authority, a strength which often compels those of lesser will to her for guidance. She's a slightly smaller girl for her age, though is often masked behind her equipment. Her smaller frame betrays her capability and strength, being fairly lean for her size, with mild definition to her core muscle groups from regular training and her own self enforced disciplines. Scars & Markings: Several small scars on her cheeks and across her right eye, a graze scar on her waist to the right, and a knife scar on the left side of her abdomen. Voice: --- Clothing: --- Xa'nyx, at a distance, can often be seen as a little cold and uncaring. She's not overly emotive around people she doesn't consider her friend. Once you break through her colder exterior, there is a warm heart and a caring friend to be found. Happily, Xa'nyx will go out of her way to support those close to her, though will also go to great lengths to ensure the well-being and safety of those who cannot defend themselves. Though she will go to lengths to ensure the safety of the innocent, she is not above bending and breaking rules and laws in an effort to ensure justice is served where justice is needed. Xa'nyx has a huge heart, but will often keep her emotions on lockdown until she feels comfortable enough to let her guard down, and even then only with a very select few people of who she trusts with her more sensitive side.. In Battle With sword drawn, Xa'nyx employs a crisp, logical methodical approach to combat. Her opponents are analysed, her every move calculated and her spatial awareness skyrockets. Her fighting style fluctuates a little depending on the situation, opting between a heavier sword and shield stance, to a more precise sword and magical stance. The constant in play being a sword, and her tactical application of stamina, she shifts her focus to bring the right combination of raw power and an unbreakable wall of steel. Often found on the frontlines of combat with her wife, Xa'nyx brings a duality to her brutality. Their styles compliment each other so well that to many, they seem almost one person, each pushing the other to heights neither could reach on their own. While her wife brings a powerful ferocity, Xa'nyx stands fast as a pillar on the battlefield, an unbreakable bastion for her allies to rally to. Likes Animals - She's always gotten along with various animals on a friendly level and, while hardly a gifted tamer, has found an affinity with her loyal hawk, as well as various chocobos. Hobbycraft - While by no means a master in the art of production, she likes to keep her mind and skills sharp off the battlefield with activities like smithing and carpentry, more out of pleasure than as a trade skill. Battle - Despite her calm demeanour on the battlefield, Xa'nyx openly relishes in the thrill of battle. The adrenaline, the mind games, the truest rush that only facing off with death can bring. Dislikes Thanalan - Heat, sand and unsettling memories leave Thanalan low on places she wishes to be. Excessive Control - Xa'nyx, while she will generally abide by the rules and laws of places she visits, does not like excessive control over her. She follows her own disciplines and rules, and dislikes having her movements and freedoms restricted by others. Excessive Closeness - Xa'nyx is not, by nature, a huggy or touchy person. Especially from strangers. There are select close friends and family she is happy to be physical with, however anyone not on that list are to be met with cold disdain, even if their intentions are innocent. Her father was the Nunh of the Antelope clan of Western Thanalan, a powerful and strong man with a quick temper and lack of regard for morality and rules. Her mother was an unfortunate Keeper of the Moon who caught the Nunh's eye on a supplies run to Ul'dah. Pash Nunh preyed on the young Keeper and lured her back to the clan homelands, and gave her the option of death or the honour of becoming his wife. Choosing the latter, she soon bore the Nunh twin girls. One of whom was A'Scar. Being born to the tyrannical rule of their father, the twins grew up fast, quickly learning about the harsh realities of the world they lived in. After the disappearance of their mother, the twins found the fire within them to oppose their father. Taking up arms and bowing to his rigorous training regime in an effort to turn them into his little soldiers, they pushed themselves harder than they'd every pushed. It took years of suffering his hand, and his temper, but eventually they felt ready. Ready to defend themselves, and traverse the harsh landscape of Thanalan, the twins fled their tribe, shrugging off the shackles that the Antelope clan had dragged them down with for years and taking up mantles of their own. While each still held onto their clan names for sentimentality, and to embrace their shared hardships, the twins took on new names, for a new start. Xa'nyx Ogawa was born. The pair began to wander Eorzea, revelling in the freedom offered to them now they were free of the rigidity of clan life and the pressure of their cruel, over-ambitious father. With a loose aim of searching for their mother, the twins never settled anywhere for too long instead focusing their efforts on travelling, picking up freelance work and enjoying all of the pleasures that being free gives to them.
