Hair & Eyes Yasuharu's hair is royal puple with blond highlights that he keeps in a loose, 4 strand braid. While his hair is braided, it reaches the middle of his back, but when he lets it down, it reaches his lower back. He has long, loose bangs that he keeps tucked behind his horns, which also hide a small set of frills on the side of his head. His eyes are a dark blue, so dark that they seem black, making his magenta limbal rings stand out more. Physique & Markings Growing up being educated in various forms of dance, from Thavnarian to step dancing to formal ballroom to ballet, Yasu has a very lithe, soft form, with corded muscle. He is agile, limber, and very flexible, while still maintaining enough strength to make strong leaps and lift his partner if they're smaller than him. His skin is a medium grey with a lavender tinting, with a spattering of white freckles across the bridge of his nose and cheekbones. His scales are primarily ivory with cobalt blue scales scattered throughout like a coeurl print. Hygiene & Attire Having grown up in a more wealthy Ul'dah family, Yasu is accustomed to being clean, and prefers to take at least take a shower no less than every other day. His attire is always comfortable, form-fitting, and casual, made for civilians more than the adventuring sort. That doesn't mean he doesn't have adventuring attire, he just prefers the clothes he wears while not out helping whomever needs it. Personality Personality Normally a sunny, friendly person, Yasu enjoys conversing as the social butterfly he is. He's of quick wit, and enjoys good-natured teasing and banter with those he cares for. There are instances where he will be a bit more snippy, such as being forces into something he doesn't want to do, or after a particularly stressful and draining day. During such times, he has no problem turning and walking away in the middle of someone else speaking. Also, do NOT speak to him before he has his morning cup of coffee. History . Disclaimer: . Sixth Astral Era Childhood His mother Yoteshi Tsurugi is from small village in Doma, while his birth father Chotan is from a branched off Qalli tribe that lived in relative peace before the initial Garlean invasion. Yoteshi's family had decided to save their only daughter by smuggling her out of the country with other refugees. Before the invasion, Yoteshi and Chotan had already been in the process of courting, and decided to mate before she was sent away. Thus, Yasuharu was concieved. Unfortunately the crew 'saving' the Doman refugees were slave traders, and Yoteshi was on her way to be sold. Busted in a port near Ul'Dah, Yoteshi was saved by the Immortal Flames, one being Wilmaer Purcell, who brought the now 3-months pregnant Au Ra to his family's home, where she worked in trade for a home, money, and eventually an education for her son. Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood Thanks to his now-adoptive father Wilmaer and his family, Yasuharu has a well rounded and extensive education, though he excelled in the performing arts. Folk songs, opera, ballroom dancing, step dancing, ballet, and Thavnarian dancing are his favorites, and is rather skilled in the lyre and the lute. He is also a skilled bowman, which he uses along with magical songs to aid his fellow adventurer's from the sidelines. He also has found he enjoys wearing outfits that would be described as 'pretty' or 'effeminate', because who doesn't appreciate the beauty of a flowing ballgown? His mother also told him many stories about the wonders of Doma, and he longs somewhat to see where his birth parents are, and possibly find Chotan, but will always be an Eorzean at heart. In Recent Times Moving Forward Recently, Yasuharu has been training in conjuration and made a few...colorful friends. Connor Grey, a smart ass Xaela paladin informant with a thick accent, Alys Rylos, the simple minded Highlander dragoon, Yesukei Qalli, another Xaela, though much more quiet then the others who bear his tribal name, and Kami Thunderstrider, a short, rambunctious Raen who seems to like one upping her male counterparts. Through one chance meeting or another, all five of them have gained targets on their back from two unknown assassin groups, both of which are hunting Alys and anyone who so much as speaks to her. They hope to confront one of the groups soon, hoping to reduce the number of groups hunting them and save Connor's sister.
