He was a charismatic man, able to talk the wallets away from all but the most shrewd of businessmen, but his own ability of investing was questionable at best. He became addicted to gambling, and soon found himself in debt to the crime lord of a different guild. A bad one. He knew he would never pay this man off, and decided to run for Ul'Dah, but he was found out. The goons of the Crime Lord ambushed the family and grabbed Garrett's wife, oldest son, and daughter before he and Adodak escaped. |

He used the skills he'd seen his father use over and over again, and found himself to be quite the charismatic con-man. His father found out, however, and truly tore into Ado, saying that this was NOT the life he wanted Adodak to live. He made Adodak promise not to fall into the same kind of life Garrett himself had gotten his family caught up in before. Adodak agreed, but didn't have a chance to prove it. Shortly after his father was found dead, killed by a stab wound to the back, and scorched with magic. Adodak has since pledged to keep his promise, and regardless of the temptation, refuses to commit crime for profit. Garrett was buried at the Church of Saint Adama Landama in Thanalan. </div> | ||

Adodak Silversong --- About
Error creating thumbnail: File missing Adodak, regardless of how he would like to perceive himself, is a mostly average Hyur. His words are pretty, and his voice is talented, but his looks are only slightly above average at best. His height is slightly less than the average Hyur male, even for a Midlander, and his skin is pale from many days spent in Inns and Taverns earning his fare. His muscles are toned from years of studying the bow (and secretly learning the art of the sword), but the muscles themselves are not overtly large. Easy to hide under a loose shirt. Lean muscle. His hair is blond, and a gift from his mother. It's something he wouldn't change for anything. His eyes, however, are from his father and a the blue color of the sea in Lominsa. Another priceless gift he'd never trade away. He favors his father more in the face, though softer than his rougish father might have hoped. Scars & Markings: --- One scar on his right chest where he took an arrow early in his career. It nearly killed him. Voice: --- As Adodak, it's smooth. Obviously a tenor's singing voice that he's not afraid to use when he feels it may earn him some gold. As Morning Star, he does deepen it slightly, and adds a few rough edges. Using the con artistry skills he learned as a child. Clothing: --- As Adodak, he wears whatever he'd like. Typically flamboyant, easily noticeable clothes to try and get more people interested in his stories, or he may dress how he believes might attract those around him in a more romantic sense. As Morning Star, he's either dressed up in his typical red garb and mask, or he's wearing more shoddy clothes with something to obscure recognizable things about him, even going so far as to add scars to his face to disguise it if he's actually afraid someone might recognize his Adodak persona. He typically does this when trying to learn more information in a place they don't typically allow bards.
