Right-handed. None. Two purple tattoos under the eyes. Pink and practical. Hair & Eyes Lack's eyes are a deep brown with large irises. Her hair is a dark, almost black brown with natural purple highlights. Her hair is naturally curly (type 3a, to be exact), and currently it's cropped short. Lack takes great care to protect her hair against the elements with various oils. She will let no one touch her hair, except for her friend Leri, as she finds it irritating. Physique & Markings Lack is a beanpole, coming in at 28 ponze soaking wet. She's a shorter than average Lalafell, despite her parents' best intentions There is a bit of lean muscle from stomping through various terrains collecting data. Her entire face is covered in dark freckles, which turn near black after long periods of sun exposure. Under her eyes, there are two purple oval shaped tattoos. Hygiene & Attire Besides her hair, Lack isn't much one for overly caring about hygiene. She bathes regularly in whatever vaguely clean stream or lake she can find, and that's about it. More often than not, there's dirt visible on her hands and under her nails. As far as attire, Lack has two qualifications: it must be practical, and it should be pink. While the dirt shows up more on her pink shirts and coats, she also enjoys the color. Personality Psychological Profile Lack is an intelligent woman. Her focus on her zoological research gives her determination and drive. She is oft described as soft and kind by her friends, and fair and just by her rivals. Lack is often willing to lend a hand with whatever task is at hand, especially if it consists of going out into the wilds. With her, the spirit of adventure calls, and she loves having people along with her on her journeys. However, she is not great at reading people, and can sometimes be taken advantage of. Lack is easily flustered by romantic or sexual advances, sometimes turning purple with embarrassment. Voice Lack has a low soprano voice, which is fairly in the middle for Lalafell. Her singing voice is absolutely dreadful, but her horrible pirate shanties don't exactly need to be in tune. Philosophy & Mannerisms To Lack, knowledge is the highest goal to obtain, and yet she feels like she will never know enough. She seeks to understand the world around her, and isn't afraid of personal cost. Kindness, too, is necessary to keep her world turning. Unless romantic overtures are directed her way, Lack holds herself in a relaxed fashion. She takes her arcanist tome and her journal everywhere, in case there's something wonderful to document. She plays with her hair quite a bit when thinking or nervous. Lack twiddles her thumbs while waiting, though she doesn't really fidget. History . Disclaimer: All information is subject to change. Last edit for history: 17 September 2017. Sixth Astral Era Childhood Lackadaisy was found by her parents, Bloedaeg and Keimswys Keimbluom, when she was about six months old. The two ex-pirates raised Lack in a suburb-like area outside of Limsa Lominsa. She was tutored in math, science, and art from an early age, proving to be a gifted child. Still, Lack was raised sheltered from the harshness that Limsa could be, but rather than instilling caution, it developed in her as fearlessness in the wilds and naivety about the intentions of people. Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood Lack left home almost as soon as she turned 18, wishing to see all Eorzea had to offer. Her first stop? The Arcanist's Guild, where she learned the art of summoning. This pleased her parents, as a Carbuncle could protect her in the wilds of La Noscea and beyond. Lack was quickly inducted into the Free Company "The Crossroads," where she began doing odd jobs here and there between her travels. Lack also began doing freelance work for the Maelstrom on rare occasions, when adventurers were called for help. In Recent Times Moving Forward Lack left The Crossroads to pursue her own path. Wanting to do more humanitarian work, she picked up jobs with Limitless Reliquary, acting as a healer and researcher. She left that as well, preferring to travel alone or with her friend, Leri Rone. Lack is also close to publishing her first book about the wildlife of Outer La Noscea.
