Chaotic Good General Information A mysterious elezen hailing from Ishgard. On the outside she appears normal like any other, but upon closer inspection there is more to her than one would think. For one, she is well-read for one of lowborn status and her way of thinking is more open-minded compared to the more prejudiced citizens of Ishgard. Much like a bird she never stays in one place and takes off when the opportunity arises. The most strangest phenomenon is that no matter where she goes a large murder of crows is never far from her. While it may be regarded as a strange occurrence, it seems that the woman is capable of communicating with the crows and in turn they understand her as much as she understands them. It is best that one takes caution in approaching her. Some may be met with a courteous reception, or meet the fate of being torn apart by thousands of crows. Appearance BUILD: Svanielle is a slender woman of short stature. Only standing between 5'7" and 5'8", she is shorter than the average elezen woman that even full grown hyur men can easily dwarf her. Her height is the result of living in poverty where she suffered from frequent malnutrition which stunted her growth during her childhood. Her diet improved when she was admitted into the Sharlayan Studium, but by the time she developed into womanhood she is unable to grown anymore. Due to her height it was difficult to find clothing of her size in Ishgard, being a city that primarily consisted of elezen. Commissioning custom made clothes would prove to be too expensive for someone who lives humbly, so she began to learn how to sew her own clothes which would prove to be a very useful skill. Despite her stature she seems quite fit enough to pull her weight, hands callous from the efforts of hard living. PHYSICAL FEATURES: From the lack of sunlight and a meager diet, Svan has a very pale complexion that most would mistake for being white as snow. The color of the skin provides a vast contrast to her wavy black hair which curls in many directions that all the pins in the world would be unable to tame it. Her dark hair is even apparently so naturally unkempt it is hard to brush the knots out, so instead she often adorns it with various decorative hairpins and barrettes, preferably flowers. The first distinct feature of her hair is that upon closer inspection one could see faded purple streaks, which indicated at some point she must have colored her hair in the past. The second feature is that her hair is actually very disheveled in the back, the left side being longer than the right which appeared to be roughly cut. Because she parts her hair over her shoulder it's difficult to see the dishevelment.[1] EYES: Probably her most striking feature that is further emphasized due to her overall monochromatic appearance. While her eyes are a pale lavender hue there have been hints of blue within. Svan actually applies dark eyeshadow to accent them, which is actually the only makeup she would apply daily. STYLE: Svan tends to wearing an assort of purples, reds, black, and white. Her state of dress is a combination of modest but alluring, consisting of skirts and dresses to give her a freedom of movement. Her shirts vary between long or short sleeved which are often exposing her shoulders and back, or none at all. Her legs are always covered by stockings, tights, or thigh high boots, which in truth is due to because her legs are heavily scarred and sensitive upon exposure, a secret not known to many. As mentioned before, most of her clothes are sewn by her own hand with simple solid colors without much flair, but as she hones her skills there is a significant improvement to her works. It should be noted her choice of clothing varies on certain verses. [2] Personality Free-spirited and open-minded, Svan strives to take a positive outlook on life no matter how bleak it may seem. She is tactful and intelligent while curious to a fault, having a habit of closely observing anyone she meets and even more if they are people of interest. She is also cautious and tends to keep to her emotions heavily guarded. Her interactions treated with a calm and polite disposition. To those she acquainted with she becomes friendlier and perhaps more sisterly the deeper the bond becomes. Yet every person has their vices: Her lowborn upbringing and years of countless scorn had severely crippled her mentality. Because of this Svan will not open herself up to others easily and completely disregards herself and her existence as a whole to the point of self-depreciating herself as means of jest. People are only able to see the surface that she had crafted herself, a mask to hide her true emotions of her life. Despite her true feelings she has accepted who she is, but she has also accepted that she is beyond repair and undeserving of good fortune no matter how many would disagree. RP Info Location & Probability (VERY IMPORTANT!!)Places where Svan is very likely to be seen: Available in Heavensward, restricted after Patch 3.3 ■ Ishgard: Svan can easily be found here as a tavern maid of the Forgotten Knight, but essentially she can be found in nearly any part of the city. Upon Post-Heavensward, marking the end of the Dragonsong War, Svan will no longer be living in Ishgard. So it's important that anyone who wishes to roleplay with Svan in Ishgard cannot include information from 3.3 and after because it has not happened yet. If you wish to roleplay with her in this setting after the events of Heavensward please ask. The next areas are only accessible after the Dragonsong War. ■ Thanalan: There is a very small chance that Svan could wound up here on her travels. She's not really fond of the arid environment, but she is quite fond of the Ul'dah culture and may be within the city to check out the market stalls and entertainment. Otherwise her stay here is very limited. ■ La Noscea: Svan is very fond of the sea and a friend of hers' works in the Maelstrom so it is often she would pay a visit to Limsa Lominsa so it's likely you may find her wandering the beaches or the city. ■ The Black Shroud: Considering this is where her new home is there is a very high chance to find her here. Whether she is shopping in Gridania or collecting flowers and herbs in the forests, or even visiting Lavender Beds where her FC is stationed, it's easier to spot her here out of everywhere else despite her elusiveness. ■ Gyr Abania: Unless she is out on a job she wouldn't be spending much time in this area. Ask about this if you wish. ■ Hingan/Othard: Unless she is out on a job she wouldn't be spending much time in this area. Although she may spend some time in Kugane. Ask about this if you wish. Affiliations Most of these aren’t public, and would have to be asked after! ■ Sharlayan Scholar: Being a former student of the Studium located in the Dravanian Hinterlands, she is technically a citizen of the Sharlayan nation as well. Chances are she may be familiar with those of affiliation. This is more for those who are also Sharlayan so it's worth it to list it here despite being seldomly mentioned. [3] ■ Windsong Lancers: A Free Company that she joins after the events of the Dragonsong War. Their estate is located in Lavender Beds. They function as mercenaries for hire who take job requests that do not require Grand Company attention for pay. Svan has taken it upon herself to accept various jobs which gave birth to her traveling habits. IC Inventory The following items are things that this individual carries on their person at all times. These are noted for pickpockets, and those watching her closely. This information is meant to be a prompt for insight and is not to be meta-gamed, though feel free to use this information if it comes up logically in RP (pickpocketing, a search, etc) with use of a simple /tell. ■ Coinpurse: A simple coin purse made of soft leather, containing a few hundred gil. RP Limits ■I like to consider myself a flexible player who is willing to commit to a number of different types of scenes and role-play scenarios, but even I have my limits. If something is on the play list, assume it means yes, as long as it's within the context of the current play or ongoing plot. No's are typically a hard no, and it means don't ask. ■ I will play I can pretty much roleplay many things, I often leave it up to my partners or I decide on something based on what I read and given. I am, however selective and tend to roleplay with Tumblr mutuals more likely than non. However, it doesn’t mean I won’t try. I can do shipping if there is chemistry. Svan is not an easy catch so do take note that trying to win her over will be a challenge. That being said Svan is a multi-ship blog, and so far has no main verse. ■ I won't play ERP or NSFW including explicit violence, sex, or anything of that sort. I am not comfortable with those types of roleplays. OOC Notes Player Information Player Note I tend to go by Auro, but I also answer to Svan. I am generally shy and anxious on approaching and talking to people. Despite this I have a better time with thinking of RP ideas when spoken to on a frequent basis in order to keep headcanons fresh and active. Just because RP hooks are listed doesn't mean that anything that isn't there is restricted. There is a lot of information on this character wiki, but it is by no means completely comprehensive. There are chunks of backstory that are left intentionally vague so that details can be later added as developed through creative writing or in role-play revelation.
