He doesn't take well to company or small talk, preferring more practical conversation. He's not very good company, unless you enjoy quiet types who throw out comments with perhaps a bit too much honesty. He's a bit more personable and talkative with alcohol in him, which is surprisingly often. He smiles and chuckles more. The cliff notes: Khen was born on the steppe, dropped from Borlaaq, then left to Kugane for a while until he could afford to come to Eorzea. Eorzea Unsure of where he was born, Khenbish was raised in Gridania. He was an odd and quiet child, preferring to spend his time with the land and its creatures. His preference for the quiet company was often misunderstood as an affinity for nature, and he was encouraged to take up conjuration. Granted, he took to it surprisingly well - for healing takes focus, and focus requires that present company does not pester you. The quietness came to be understood as contemplation. He spent a large chunk of his life healing others on adventures. This, however, did begin to grate on him - as dangers of the adventuring life increased, so did demands for healers, and with them the complaints and pestering when things were just too much. After this he made way to Ul'dah, where he took up the shield for another chunk of his life as a sell-sword. PC Katuyagan Oronir ( ♦ ✔ ) - Kat Khen found Kat alone at the bar in the Quicksand and saw her as an easy mark to get a quick job. Instead he got a very aggressive drinking contest. He definitely did not cheat in said contest and there isn't a soul who can prove othwerwise alright. At the end of it, after he definitely won, fair and square, completely, they went back to Kat's place for a private dance. Instead she passed out shortly after and Khen took his pay anyways.
