Standing at three feet and two inches, Momobi is fairly tall for a Lalafell. Add to that her propensity for wearing fancy clothing and accessories, the lady tends to stand out. Her gingerbread brown skin is unmarred by scars or wrinkles, and her sea green hair is cut short in a fashionable bob. She’s been known to let it grow out, only to leave it constantly in an updo or high ponytail, to keep it out of her eyes. Luminous amethyst eyes study the world around her, often alight with curiosity. Her clothes are clearly well-made, a blend of functionality and beauty. There are several pouches along the belt at her waist, each one organized with her own…. Unique method. Always with her tome at her side, Momobi is prepared for most situations.

Biography

Born in Ul’dah to a wealthy merchant family, Momobi Mobi was set up to take over the family business. However, the young Lalafell had other plans, and after rejecting the 7th suitor her parents had set up for her, along with their latest plan to convince her to take over, she broke off with them and moved to Limsa Lominsa. There, she joined the Arcanist’s Guild, quickly proving herself through her studies, and met a Miqo’te historian and fellow arcanist, D’Namo Baji, who inspired her a passion for history and its conservation. Eventually, Momobi Mobi left the guild, and began traveling around the world. During these travels, she came across a Scholar soul stone, learning its secrets, and later came across, and saved the life of, a Xaela named Dunrai Dazkar. Dunrai now serves as her assistant and bodyguard, and now the two of them are seeking new means of employment.

Thanks to her skills in healing, she was able to save his life, and once he fully recovered he swore to repay his debt to her. Three years later, they work together as close friends, having found mutual respect for each other.
