Such is not the case. Little is known about this woman aside from being cloaked in boldly-colored, opulent robes, complementing, glittering accessories, and an air of mysticism and enigma. A quaint smile is always worn, silver eyes perpetually penetrating yet tender, spoken words consistently vague yet meaningful. Scars and Markings | Rather than markings, Yasu's body is swathed in patches of ivory scales, radiant in the sunlight and ethereal in the moonlight. Her forearms and hands frequently bear stains from a teal-colored ink that she creates and uses in vigil and ritual scrawlings. She may even draw on herself in the absence of an appropriate surface. Mannerisms | Yasu is a very expressive individual. Using gestures is nigh mandatory to complement her moderately-accented speech, but everything that comes from this woman seems superficial. Nothing personal is revealed about her when she speaks, but one may just infer that she's quite the eccentric person. Clothing | Her wardrobe is limited in terms of variety, but the color volume is extensive. She may own the same dress in five different colors, her sashes are similar but varied with their motifs and hues, her robes are all lengthy and flowing. Comfort is placed above all else, especially with the amount of traveling she performs. All of her outfits are accompanied by necklaces, earrings, and rings of all sorts. Eloquent | Mischievous | Enigmatic | Animated | Eccentric | Quaint A Woman of a Peculiar Nature It is no secret, even to those unfamiliar with her, that Yasu is just a little... off-kilter. Something drives this woman, but what appears to be unknown. When she approaches someone, it is with the intent of selling a concoction, often oddly colored and powerfully aromatic. Whether she is successful or not in peddling her creations, there is no further conversation. One does not get to acclimate to her. She sells these creations en masse, if able, and notes any reactions. It is an entirely flawed system as she cannot observe every reaction that may arise, but it also generates her income... and some entertainment. She is careful in not selling any potions in which harmful substances were used as she does not desire hurting her subjects. ✦ Sometimes, when in Ul'dah, Yasu will be seen ghosting in and around the Alchemy guild. She is probably trying to acquire new recipes. Avenues of Business ✦ Yasu and her apprentice are commonly sighted in Ul'dah and Limsa Lominsa attempting to hawk their wares among the myriad of others doing the same. Pleasant conversation is Sparrow's specialty, while Yasu tends to speak so peculiarly, it's difficult to keep up with her. Both are experienced creatures, though, and by the time one has purchased something, they may not be sure what they even just bought! Raen ✦ Auri have made the arduous trek from Othard and Doma. When had Yasu descended upon Eorzea? Had she somehow always been there, or did she come with her brethren? She never speaks of her home, even to her familiars. ✦ Glittering ivory scales and horns, polished and clean. She could never pass as another race, so she displays her reptilian attributes proudly. She has had fellow Raen come to her seeking solace, often unable to speak the common tongue of Eorzea well. The outcome of these meetings are frequently unknown. Solitude ✦ Despite incessantly attempting to peddle her products across Eorzea over, Yasu prizes solitude with the sole exception being her ward Sparrow. They are often traveling alone. Such an odd thing to do, given the nation's current time of strife. Will they be all right? She and Sparrow do not appear to be the strongest in terms of appearance alone. Perhaps they could use a traveling partner, but would chancing it with such a pair be beneficial in the end? A collection of songs that generally fits Yasu's persona.
