Her hazelnut brown hair with amber mixed in it adds to that effect; usually cared for with the utmost care, complements her round facial features. These features, specifically her cheeks and nose, hold a slight flush while the rest of her skin remains tanned or rather sunkissed. Her eyes, both being a sky blue color, hold a gentle look of compassion and kindness. Yet somehow a bit Mischievous. ↣ SCARS: Numerous pale scars; deep, faded, and in-between decorate her body. Across her right eye a scar adorns her face and her left cheek carries a smaller one. She also carries a crescent shaped scar across the left of her abdomen. ↣ CLOTHING: Xihne's main attire consists of a single sleeve, dark red waistcoat. Though usually her attires range from full coverage traveling gear, to simple city garments, or a mixture of both. Its a rare sight for her to be seen without her red scarf, something she holds dear to him. Aside from this, she also has two bells attached to her belt that jingle as she moves. ↣ VOICE CLAIM: Emma Barnett Honest and perceptive. Xihne's a woman who believes in steadfastness. While she speaks with a gentle tone, she is a calm and flexible woman with universal capabilities. Known for her determination and cunning, . Even when disrespected or faced with obvious hostility, Xihne rarely ever reciprocates the feelings, and often forgoes grudge-holding. She did, however, for a short time, hold a grudge against the Garlean soldiers but eventually forgave them as she realized that most of them are ‘prisoners’ of their country. Childhood Xihne was born in the Hawkwing clan. A nomadic clan who remained true to its roots. Mostly migrating with the movements of herds across Thanalan and La Noscea. As was costum among the clan they were honorable and simple, holding little value for anything that would weigh them down or hold them back. The same counted for Xihne as she grew up, her family in the clan was most precious to her. Although if you would have asked her, she would probably say she prefered playing with the other kids in the clan instead of hanging out with her parents all the time. She also enjoyed that the clan was always on the move, she loved seeing new things compared to being in one place all the time, Xihne would have likely been bored if that were the case. But most of all she enjoyed watching others go on their 'fledgling' year. A tradition where once you turned 15 you were allowed to leave the clan for a year to see if they can make the mature decision of either staying on their own, or return and stay with the clan for life. Adolescence As Xihne got older eventually her very own 'fletchling' year. She had been looking forward to it for quite a while. Finally she could explore the world for a year on her own. Without anyone telling her where to go or when to go. She traveled to a lot of places, from La Noscea to Ishgard to the Black Shroud. In the Black Shroud she discovered a wall, she figured it must have been there a while, though she had never seen it considering her clan didn't go in the shroud so much. The wall however made her curious, curious to what was behind the wall. She decided to take a look which proofed to be more challenging than she thought as the wall was crowded with Garlean soldiers. Somehow she managed to sneak past all the garleans and get across the wall without being spotted. A beautiful forest before her. However little did she know at the time that she would not be able to get back across the wall without being seen, and just like that her 'fledgling' year passed. And as was tradition in her clan, whoever didn't return within the year, denounced all claim to the family and got disowned. pre-calamity After realizing she couldn't get across the wall again she spend a certain time being depressed as she had no intention on leaving her clan, though her clan didn't know there was no possibility for her to return. Eventually she figured to move on. Deciding the hold little value to something that would weigh her down or hold her back, as she had done all her live. Just so happened that this time that included her clan. She looked for work in the land, Gyr Albania, that she was in now. However due to Garleans having taken control over it, little work was to be found. That is untill she heard about a resistance army opposing the garleans. It wasn't something she wished to do, but she figured it was better than doing nothing at all. She spend years as a simple footsoldier in the army, mainly serving as a messenger. And she was pretty good at what she did too. Post calamity When the Calamity happened over at Carteneau Flats, news of what happened somehow did reach through the Garlean occupation in Gyr Albania. When Xihne heard about it she was astonished. Never had she imagined a dragon big enough to ravage the land as it did. It made her realize that what she had in her little home in the Dimworld, where she had taken residence. Meanwhile Xihne started to make a name for herself in the Ala mhigan resistance. Growing through the ranks quite fast untill they gave her the command of her own squadron. A succesful squadron at that. Xihne seemed to show that she had a keen insight on the battlefield, her quick thinking and ability to use the lay of the land to her advantage made sure non of her squadron put their life down for a good while. A feat made further astonishing if you considered that Xihne made every member of her squadron aswell as herself wear two bells on their belts. She saw it as a way of being honorable and respectful to let the enemy know they were there. Her reputation grew so big that the mere sound of the bells made the enemies shudder in fear. In Crimson It Began As Xihne was out in Ala Ghanna in an attempt to secure information on patrol routes or other locations on garleans. she heard the sound of cannon fire originating from Rhalgr's reach. Looking over she noticed the column of smoke on the horizon....rising from Rhalgr's Reach. With dawning horror she makes way towards the reach as fast as she could. Encountering many resistance fighters on her way who were trying to escape, followed by garleans who were cutting down anyone they could. Including the men of Xihne's own squadron. Pressing on to help as many as she could, Xihne returned the garleans favor by killing them left and right. Although at some point she saw the so called Warrior of light being pushed back in battle against the Imperial Viceroy himself and Xihne realized there was little to no hope. That they had to escape to fight another day. Reluctant she escaped with as many resitance fighters as she could but later dissapeared herself. Many had thought she was killed in the attack, though others started hearing different rumors. Hiding in Rumors Rumors spreaded across Gyr Albania, mainly under drunkards. But eventually also among the resistance fighters aswell as mere fighters. Rumors of a woman taking on the garlean army on her own, taking out the skulls, but also in general helping the people in the land. Be it by loading carts for transport, protecting innocent people that are being attacked by monsters or even watering the crops for farmers.
