NPC The Black Parents ( ♥♥ ) ( NPC ) - Mother and Father Even though her father, Eddie, sunk the family into great debt, Flora never blamed him for their own captivity. As a child, Flora took strongly to her mother, Lisa, who was once a soldier. Lisa was Flora's first mentor, and she still feels a strong compassion for her today. Much of Flora's persona is modeled after her mother's confident and brash demeanor. The Black Brothers ( ♥♥ ) ( NPC ) - Little Brothers Out of the five Black children, Flora was the only daughter. As the oldest, she was their 'leader' by default. Today, although their relationship is rocky, Flora feels immensely protective of her younger brothers. Her brothers, from oldest to youngest, are: Marcel, Declan, Ricard, and Oscar. Jojoriku Lalamena ( ♠♠ ) ( NPC ) - Shylock Debtor As a child, Flora always suspected that their was something fishy about Jojoriku, a merchant who kept tabs on her father. After the Calamity, when the Black family was forced into indentured servitude, she grew to hate him. Jojoriku later forced Flora to fight on the bloodsands to pay her family's debt, and Flora's hate bloomed into animosity. Today, Flora would gladly poke a hole through his lung if she thought she could get away with it. The Ul'dah Coliseum ( ♠ ) ( LOC ) - Spectator Blood Sport Flora's relationship with the bloodsands is complex in her mind. She once stood the sands as a gladiator, but refuses to step foot near it today. Deep down, she feels an immense disgust for the Coliseum, thinking of it as a 'blood sport.' Although the Coliseum molded Flora into the woman she is today, she refuses to ever return to them.
