"Visiting little old me huh? Watcha want?"
Error creating thumbnail: File missing For the most part, Y’ganbo is a typical miqo’te. He’s of average height, with lean muscles and deep brown skin. His hair is pitch black, often styled into hundreds of tiny braids, and contains faint traces of blue. He’s handsome enough, with his bright blue eyes, and strong dark features. However, what stands out about Y’ganbo are the blue tattoos that cover most of his face, as well as the entirety of his left arm and torso. His clothing is often simple, plain loose fitting pants, sandals, and various amounts of jewelry adorning his neck, ears, and hair. He doesn’t wear shirts very often, as they cover up his tattoos, though when he does he opts for open shirts, sheer ones, or sleeveless ones.
Aspects That Stand Out:
Born in the jungles of La Noscea as one of only two sons in his tribe, Y’Ganbo had a fairly traditional upbringing. His father, the tribe’s nunh, ensured that he was well versed in both combat, and the magic wielded by their tribe’s shaman and healers. While, he was never meant to be the nunh of his tribe, he was poised to take over as their primary shaman. There was just one issue. Y’ganbo has visions, debilitating, and gut wrenching visions that pull his focus. Along with often turning his stomach and causing pain, his visions are never truly clear and require interpretation. Deciding that his visions would be a detriment to his tribe if he didn’t learn to control them, Y’ganbo pulled back and began to live as a recluse. He now resides in the depths of La Noscea’s jungles, telling fortunes, reading fates, and casting spells for those who need it, at a reasonable cost, of course.
Notes:
It’s pretty likely that everyone who meets Y’ganbo thinks he’s crazy. It’s very likely that they’re absolutely correct. Y’ganbo spends a good amount of time waving his hands in the air and muttering to himself. He’s a bit of a recluse, preferring the wilds of La Noscea and the waters surrounding it to the hustle and bustle of the city. He’s not the most forthcoming and often speaks in riddles and vagued sentences. However, despite this, he’s not too hard to befriend. He’s easy going, confident, and has a sort of, dry humor to him. While not overly selfish, Y’ganbo is not the type to do favors for free. Every spell he cast, vision he interprets and future he reads has a price, and those who come to him should be ready to pay it.
As is the way of his tribe, Y'ganbo's early combat training consisted primarily of learning how to fight hand to hand, as well as how to move silent through the woods, and hunt with a bow and arrow. After proving his aptitude manipulating Aether, he was taught to manipulate it in basic ways, as well as call up beings of pure aether (carbuncles) for protection and combat. When he got older, Y'ganbo learned how to wield daggers in addition to his aether and began to develop his own fighting style. He's light on his feet, preferring surprise attacks, quick blows, and skilled blade work with bits of magic thrown in to confuse or distract an enemy. When faced off against multiple opponents, he's known to use a being of pure aether for a few moments to help whittle them down.
Weapons of Choice
Roleplay combat can be fun, used to progress the story, and serve to break up the monotony of everyday rp. However, I do have a few things to note for those wishing to engage in roleplay combat with me!
