Neutral Good. General Information Tethas Faucon is formerly a Captain of an Ishgardian scouting brigade. Having served House Durendaire, most of Tethas' adult life consisted of stalking, watching, or hunting Dravanians. During conflicts with Othard, Tethas defected from the Ishgardian army to assist in the escape of an Au Ra and her mate. (This was before Ishgardians acknowledged that Au Ra were not, in fact, Dravanian or dragonkin of any kind.) Due to his actions, Tethas was stripped of his rank and branded both a traitor and heretic to Ishgard. He has spent the years since in solitude in Gridania, taking odd jobs such as clearing out cellars or gutters, and mostly trying to stay out of anyone's attention. Even so, his time as a scout has honed his ability to notice small details...and he has picked up people-watching as a hobby. Most recently, Tethas has taken small jobs in and around Ul'dah, and has unwittingly made acquaintances that he has grown to care about. Protective to a fault, he watches his loved ones like the bird his family is named so aptly after. ❝ A dream? I'm not sure I have one, other than seeing my friends thrive. ❞ Appearance Hair & Eyes Tethas has stark silver eyes and auburn hair. Physique & Markings Tethas is muscular, but he is more lithe than bulky. His build is wiry. Hygiene & Attire Tethas has impeccable hygiene, always taking care of himself. That said, he treats his long hair lazily and rarely goes to lengths to style it. His clothes are more practical than stylish. Personality Tethas is calm and reserved, yet honest. It's not difficult to get to know him, though he will likely attempt to get to know you first. Either as a result of his work or a trait that made him effective at it, Tethas is incredibly nosey and will often catch details about people and make assumptions - correct or otherwise - about their character. Once befriended, he is loyal to a fault. Despite his skill with a bow, he is more often than not humble in his self-assessments. Voice Baritone. Combat, Abilities & Weaponry Basic Statistics Tethas is extremely dextrous and agile, which complements his skill with the bow. His aim is impeccable, and he knows just where to hit a target. He has average strength for an Elezen. Aetheric Abilities Tethas is not aware of any aetheric abilities that he possesses. Perhaps there is something latent within him that he hasn't discovered yet? Weapon Training Mastery: Archery. Expert: Throwing Knives. Average: Spearfighting. Novice: Axefighting. Combat Relevant Skills Tethas has outstanding eyesight and a knack for finding weak-points in his enemies. OOC Note I am open to any combat RP systems that FCs or plotrunners use, but I absolutely refuse to play with anyone that "Godmodes." If your character is infallible, makes no mistakes, and is unbeatable in combat no matter what, I have no time for you. No matter your prowess, every character should show signs of struggle.

History . Disclaimer: . Sixth Astral Era Childhood Tethas grew up in a strict family alongside his brother, Anden. At a young age, their parents were killed by Dravanians, prompting them to join the Ishgardian military and put their respective talents to use. Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood Tethas betrays Ishgard by assisting in the escape of Au Ra during Othard conflicts. Exiled, he flees to Gridania to live life in obscurity. In Recent Times Moving Forward Tethas has once more struck out on his own, more interested in certain endeavors than finding lucrative work. What's in his head, one wonders?

Relationships Friends and Family Tetekka Tekka: Tethas was "pointed and claimed" as a friend by this Miqo'te, and has developed a friendly bond with her. After the two have swapped various stories of their pasts, Tethas views Tekka as a little sister who needs a bit of guidance. To even his own surprise, he is fiercely protective of her. Mraeka Jerdan: Tethas shares an obvious, public comraderie with this woman, but it seems as shrouded in mystery as the woman herself. How do they know each other? Orliane Jusair: A mutual friend of Tetekka, Orliane has become a friend and confidant to Tethas in recent days. He will often confide in her when he feels he cannot confide in anyone else. Emeline Tousart: A recent adventuring friend, Emeline "adopted" Tethas into the adventuring troupe that she is a part of, with five others. (Mafrea, Arik, Saphyra, Rosette, and Dabney.) A kindred spirit, Tethas is eager to fight alongside her. Anden Faucon: Tethas' brother. He serves in Ishgard as a magician and Thaumaturge, though Tethas hasn't heard from Anden in years. Acquaintances Dabney Remmington: A member of the adventuring troupe and Black Garden Company, Tethas knows little about Dabney other than he is trustworthy. Saphyra Tsuki: A member of the adventuring troupe and Black Garden Company, Saphyra is often teased for how excitable she is. Despite this, she is well-meaning. A combination Tethas is fond of. Arik Qerel: The leader of the adventuring troupe and member of the Black Garden Company, Arik is stoic and watchful. Tethas knows little of him, but likes what he has seen. Mafrea Oro'ete: A member of the adventuring troupe. Tethas respects this grizzled highlander for several reasons, but is particularly fond of his dry sense of humor. Enemies None...yet.
