General Information Yerentai Tumet, a seemingly normal child of the Tumet tribe, showing great promise in his tracking and fighting skills from a very young age. Always looking out for his tribemates, the fact that his entire year succeeded in their trial was an honor attributed to him. His family is a bit of a strange one, as each seem to have their own secrets. ❝ Whatever I want, I seek out. ❞ Appearance Eyes Hair Skin Build Voice Silver/Red Limbal Black/Grey Tanned Thin, Muscular Rough, Fierce, Feral Bearing Laterality Scars Markings Style Dismissive, Stoic Ambidextrous Many scars throught body Scales Variant Hair & Eyes Long dark greyish-silver hair highlighted with black ends. Usually kept well-maintained but sometimes after a long day of fighting or training his hair will wind up being disheveled. His eyes are a light silver cover, with glowing red limbal rings providing a stark contrast. Physique & Markings As a tall, well-muscled Au Ra male, Yerentai is quite an intimidating sight and very clearly a combatant. Blessed with naturally high muscle tone has made him very effective no matter what type of weapon or combat style he attempts to use. Aside from his scales, he doesn't have too many distinct markings aside from his numerous scars. He has a few defining features however, namely being various tattoos adorning his form and an abnormally long tail compared to other Xaela males. Hygiene & Attire Yerentai doesn't have much chance to bathe with any serious regularity, but he makes sure to bathe as often as he can. At the very least, he washes off regularly after training sessions, to get the sweat off of himself. As for clothing, he chooses looser clothing of usually dark colors. Not one for fashion, many of his outfits are clearly mistmatched and many of his clothes are often torn and tattered. Personality Psychological Profile Yerentai is heavily interested in combat, always wanting to train or advance his combat prowess or expand his style into different fighting styles and weapons. He was trained from a very young age in a variety of skills, from tracking to fighting and more. He was trained to be extremely observant as well, a skill that he excelled at due to his naturally strong memory. His skills of observation are also help by his curiousity, even if he might not seem too curious about things. Yerentai was kept busy by his parents during his formative years, each one training him in various different things. Because of this, Yerentai learned many skills that have helped him in life, as well as others that he has chosen to keep secret. Yerentai's natural skills of combat and obverservation isolated him a little bit from the rest of his tribe, due to the fact that he would pick up on many things that people might not want to make public knowledge. He tries to maintain a calm demeanor around most people, though his quietness often leads people to believe he simply doesn't care about things they might have to say. Voice It wouldn't be rare for someone to say they can't place Yerentai's vocal patterns or style, as he tends to not talk much. Not to be confused with an inability to talk or non-concern for the people around him, Yerentai simply prefers to remain in silence and let others do the talking. When he does talk however, there is a definite rough and gravelly tone to his voice. Philosophy & Mannerisms Yerentai's view of the world is not entirely unique, and he believes that everyone has their own merit. He also believes that people who's skills lie in different areas are no less worthy than anyone else. Yerentai respects all types of people, regardless of where there skills lie. Combat, Abilities & Weaponry Basic Statistics High: Strength, Toughness Above Average: Stamina, Perception Average: Speed, Concentration Low: Intelligence Weapon Training Mastery: Knives, Fists Expert: Spear, Sword Average: Axe, Katana, Greatsword Novice: Firearm, Bow Fighting Style In single combat, Yerentai is a powerhouse who should not be underestimated. While he prefers to fight with simple knives of his fists, he is skilled in a variety of weapons and different fighting styles, often blending styles together to form his own unique method of fighting that leaves his attacks hard to predict. He was trained from childhood to do whatever it took to survive when in a combat situation, and to treat all combat as a life-or-death situation. Given his training and his experiences of various tribal conflict, he prefers to reserve combat for the most serious situations and isn't a fan of combat tournaments. Weapon of Choice ● Twin Daggers: Twin daggers forged by his father and given to him as a gift for his coming of age. OOC Note This information is supposed to help give you an idea on how I RP combat. While I am open to talk about any of these points and am willing to compromise if good reasons are given, they can be considered a general guideline on how I will deal with any given RP combat situation. ■ Injuries: This kind of overlaps with the above: In my opinion and in agreement with the power level mentioned above, injuries should be incurred when dramatically appropriate and should, again, be decided in agreement between the combatants. Injuries should also scale with tone: In a comedic or less serious fight, I am completely fine with anime-esque injuries that'll heal in a few scenes, while obviously in a serious context injuries might be more permanent.
