Childhood Caesia was born as the daughter, one half of a twin, of a Garlean Praefectus and Consul. She was named Caesia Drusus at the time. Due to his parents their positions within the Empire, she never was able to spend as much time with them as she would have liked as a child. Mostly ending up with her nose in books, at first dreaming of all the different stories, eventually studying anything she could. Adolescence As Caesia got older eventually she went into an exceptional school. She wanted to learn more, each thing more important than the previous one. As she learned, she took classes in the use of weaponry and turned out to be quite good with them. She was rising to become the pride and joy of her family, unlike her twin brother, who turned out to be the shame of the family. eventually she graduated with the highest possible scores on all classes. pre-calamity Life was exciting for Caesia, she rose through the ranks in the empire like no one else. Eventually she became a Tribunus Angusticlavius, thus gaining her the title Caesia Sas Drusus. Eventually she heard that her brother ended up being accused and trialed for execution along with his friends. Sadly enough, her mother arranged it so that her brother could walk free in exchange that she'd be imprisoned for his actions. Caesia was angry at him for this and wanted to bring him to justice to get her mother's freedom. hearing her brother had fled the empire she followed him. Only to find out that... not everything is as the empire makes it sound. the horrors and pain she saw outside of the empire, caused by the empire, made her eventually not return aswell, as she was disgusted with the other side she saw from the empire. Post calamity When the Calamity happened over at Carteneau Flats, news of what happened somehow did reach through the Garlean occupation in Gyr Albania. When Caesia heard about it she was astonished. Never had she imagined a dragon big enough to ravage the land as it did. It made her realize that there were bigger things out there than the Garlean Empire she had now dedicated her life to opposing. Meanwhile she started to make a name for herself in the Ala mhigan resistance. She was known as Casey but did not make it a secret she was a former garlean and she grew through the ranks quite fast untill they gave her the command of her own squadron. A succesful squadron at that. Caesia seemed to show that she had a keen insight on the battlefield, his quick thinking and ability to use the lay of the land to his advantage, not to mention her knowledge of garlean tactics made sure non of her squadron put their life down for a good while. A feat made further astonishing if you considered that Caesia made every member of his squadron aswell as herself wear two bells on their belts. She saw it as a way of being honorable and respectful to let the enemy know they were there. Her reputation grew so big that the mere sound of the bells made the enemies shudder in fear. In Crimson It Began As Caesia was out in Ala Ghanna in an attempt to secure information on patrol routes or other locations of garleans. She heard the sound of cannon fire originating from Rhalgr's reach. Looking over she noticed the column of smoke on the horizon....rising from Rhalgr's Reach. With dawning horror she makes way towards the reach as fast as she could. Encountering many resistance fighters on her way who were trying to escape, followed by garleans who were cutting down anyone they could. Including the men of Caesia's own squadron. Pressing on to help as many as she could, Caesia returned the garleans favor by killing them left and right. Although at some point she saw the so called Warrior of light being pushed back in battle against the Imperial Viceroy himself and caesia realized there was little to no hope. That they had to escape to fight another day. Reluctant she escaped with as many resitance fighters as she could but later dissapeared herself. Many had thought she was killed in the attack, though others started hearing different rumors. Hiding in Rumors Rumors spreaded across Gyr Albania, mainly under drunkards. But eventually also among the resistance fighters aswell as mere fighters. Rumors of a woman taking on the garlean army on her own, taking out the skulls, but also in general helping the people in the land. Be it by loading carts for transport, protecting innocent people that are being attacked by monsters or even watering the crops for farmers. The only thing that all these rumors had in common was the fact that a name was never given and that the woman dissapeared like a shadow as soon as her task was finished.
