Adodak, regardless of how he would like to perceive himself, is a mostly average Hyur. His words are pretty, and his voice is talented, but his looks are only slightly above average at best. His height is slightly less than the average Hyur male, even for a Midlander, and his skin is pale from many days spent in Inns and Taverns earning his fare. His muscles are toned from years of studying the bow (and secretly learning the art of the sword), but the muscles themselves are not overtly large. Easy to hide under a loose shirt. Lean muscle.
His hair is blond, and a gift from his mother. It's something he wouldn't change for anything. His eyes, however, are from his father and a the blue color of the sea in Lominsa. Another priceless gift he'd never trade away. He favors his father more in the face, though softer than his rougish father might have hoped.
Scars & Markings: --- One scar on his right chest where he took an arrow early in his career. It nearly killed him.
Voice: --- As Adodak, it's smooth. Obviously a tenor's singing voice that he's not afraid to use when he feels it may earn him some gold. As Morning Star, he does deepen it slightly, and adds a few rough edges. Using the con artistry skills he learned as a child.
Clothing: --- As Adodak, he wears whatever he'd like. Typically flamboyant, easily noticeable clothes to try and get more people interested in his stories, or he may dress how he believes might attract those around him in a more romantic sense. As Morning Star, he's either dressed up in his typical red garb and mask, or he's wearing more shoddy clothes with something to obscure recognizable things about him, even going so far as to add scars to his face to disguise it if he's actually afraid someone might recognize his Adodak persona. He typically does this when trying to learn more information in a place they don't typically allow bards.

Garrett was Adodak's Father. He was a low level member of a thieves' guild in Limsa Lominsa for much of his life, before the actual Rogues' Guild came about. He did mostly petty things, like thievery, but his special skill was in confidence schemes. He was a charismatic man, able to talk the wallets away from all but the most shrewd of businessmen, but his own ability of investing was questionable at best. He became addicted to gambling, and soon found himself in debt to the crime lord of a different guild. A bad one. He knew he would never pay this man off, and decided to run for Ul'Dah, but he was found out. The goons of the Crime Lord ambushed the family and grabbed Garrett's wife, oldest son, and daughter before he and Adodak escaped.
They made their way to Ul'Dah, but Garrett was never the same. His vices truly gripped him and Adodak had to take care of his own father at the age of 15. He used the skills he'd seen his father use over and over again, and found himself to be quite the charismatic con-man. His father found out, however, and truly tore into Ado, saying that this was NOT the life he wanted Adodak to live. He made Adodak promise not to fall into the same kind of life Garrett himself had gotten his family caught up in before. Adodak agreed, but didn't have a chance to prove it. Shortly after his father was found dead, killed by a stab wound to the back, and scorched with magic. Adodak has since pledged to keep his promise, and regardless of the temptation, refuses to commit crime for profit. Garrett was buried at the Church of Saint Adama Landama in Thanalan.
Layla was a tall, loyal, strong Hyur, and Adodak's mother. Her hair was the same color as Ado's is now, but her eyes were emerald green. A trait she passed on to both of he other children, leaving Ado the only one with blue eyes like his father. She was a minstrel and scholar, absolutely in love with learning stories anywhere that she traveled. Her favorite story to TELL was the time that she fought off four bandits attacking a poor Hyur she came across with only three bolt spells. She would later go on to marry this man and have three kids by him. Garrett Bronzeblade.
While definitely being of a slight build, her strength was surprising. Not only was she gifted in magics, but any ranged weapon that was placed in her hand became deadly within a week. She claimed it was because of her knowledge in Geometry, though that wasn't something Ado truly believed. He looked up to his mother as the strong woman she was, which could explain his increased attraction to strong women himself. She was also a teacher to her children, teaching them to read and write, as well as more advanced topics of studies. While she taught each of them in all of her skills, each child specialized in something from her. Adodak himself was the one blessed with her musical talent, learning to play the harp and control his pitch very well. He even learned to do impressions, and could mimic many voices thanks to the care that she gave in teaching him the way of the voice.
When Adodak was 15, his father fell into debt to a crime lord and the family planned to escape. Unfortunately, they were found out and his mother, brother, and sister were all taken by the bandits. He watched his mother die at their hands, her face smiling warmly at him and one request: 'Take care of yourself.' before a knife found her neck. Adodak allows his mother's loving and adventurous spirit live on through him, and is thankful that he can still have her joy, even after all that's happened. He has pledged to make the world a better place where music and laughter can fill the streets once again.

Personal RP Limits
■ I will play mature content and themes (violence, sexuality, drug / alcohol use) as long as they're logical in a plot-driven encounter. Coarse and excessive language. Temporary injury and incapacitation. Temporary imprisonment. Most walk-up encounters.
■ Ask about long-term and/or permanent injury and disfigurement. Long-term captivity or imprisonment.
■ I won't play permanent character death or rape plots.
Disclaimer
■ If an aspect of RP makes you uncomfortable in a scene we're playing, please send me a /tell, letting me know. Communication is very important, more important than potentially keeping immersion.
