Natsumi Yatsurugi (20th Sun 6th Umbral Moon (Dec 20)) is a Raen Au Ra, who since a young age, learned to use martial weaponry. She witnessed the first wave of Au Ra being attacked by the Ishgardians, who mistook them for Dravanians, and quickly took her sister and continued to flee further into Gridania. Since then, she learned first to become a lancer, inspired by the ideals of courage, before she changed to use a greatsword. She decided to become an adventurer, and met Ayla Thatcher, her now current roommate, often adventuring with the young bard. Natsumi sent her sister, Sashiri, to Ul'dah per her request to become a scholar. Since then, she still sleeps on Ayla's couch while adventuring with her friend Ayla-- all the while acting like she was a charming rogue.

Appearance & Personality

Granted-- Au Ra women weren't the tallest people on Eorzea. If she could, then Natsumi would've stood tall and towered over people. It was not so-- she stood at a short stature! Her white hair often looked spiky and free-- and the ponytail is placed off to the side on her shoulder. Beneath the armor or clothes she wore, Natsumi was admittedly curvaceous. Knowing this fact, Natsumi wasn't afraid to show it off or flaunt it, often using it as part of a way to flirt with other women who displayed any interest. Even then-- beneath the curves was a lean, dexterous body that was built to charge headfirst into the fray. On her face were pointed white horns, facing anyone who'd look her in the eyes, and the white 'scales' were displayed all across her neck, her nose, the sides of her face. Either way, Natsumi tried her best, despite being possibly reckless and carefree, to take care of her personal appearance.

More often than not, Natsumi always wore a grin or a smirk. Despite the plight of a refugee, Natsumi was granted kind friends and helpful people, which allowed Natsumi to channel the personality that she lovingly calls 'a charming rogue.' Either as a way to repay what she received, or because she held onto a form of motivation to stay determined, Natsumi displayed kindness-- if she wasn't attempting to flirt or 'charm' someone into a bedroom. Either way, Natsumi has regarded everyone with a smile or a smirk-- or just often attempted to try to use her feminine wiles on other women that she was interested in.

Natsumi is filled to the brim with energy! Lack of sleep happens on occasion, but Natsumi has managed and will manage to push through the fatigue if she has motivation to do so.

Ayla had shown nothing but kindness to Natsumi, and Natsumi respects Ayla immensely. Natsumi often finds herself elated to be around Ayla, and is willing to go through lengths to protect Ayla if she was in danger. Currently, Natsumi is sleeping on Ayla's couch, and is Ayla's roommate. Despite any sort of possible differences, the two easily learn from each other. ● Taz'tri Xerr : Natsumi had brief contact and a few letters written to Taz'tri. She finds his company pleasant and his healing abilities very competent and potent. Having Taz'tri check on her after an event was a comfort and she'd gladly call Taz'tri a friend. ● Fhilwyda Eyrihaerzwyn : A strong willed Roegadame! If flirting rivalries could be described as friendly, amiable, and able to amp up sexual tension between the two-- Natsumi and Fhilwyda's relationship could be considered flirting rivals... to each other. Rather than acting on their flirts, they seem to just see how far they can get with their words, while keeping Ayla amusingly in the dark about the flirting. They met and befriended over realizing they had a mutual friend over Ayla. Despite it all, Natsumi has respect for Fhilwyda and gladly would fight alongside the Roegadyn. ● Zigovali Rigovali : A lalafellin arcanist that started out as a tagalong to Natsumi and her roommate Ayla's adventures, but ended up becoming an acquaintance. Natsumi also occasionally assisted in teaching Zigo how to read.. They somehow managed to become rivals when flirting with others, although Natsumi usually just ends up amused when Zigo is around. Unfortunately, there was a new wrench in the relationship. After a heated argument, Natsumi wishes nothing to do with Zigo at this point.
