Basic Information

Fenrir Wolfsong is a Keeper of the Moon only by race, Born to two traveling Merchants on the road to Gridania she spent most of her time growing up either in the city-state of Gridania or on the road with her parents and four brothers. Though she seems intimating at first, she prefers to deflect most situations with humor - She can be one's best friend, or another's worst enemy.

Appearance & Personality

Appearance

Height: 5 Fulm, 3 IlmHair: Black and Red
Weight: ~167 poundsEyes: Right Blue, Left Red
Build: AthleticComplexion: Dark
Features:

The most notable feature Fenrir holds aside from her ebon-colored skin is her eyes, unusual for a Keeper, Fenrir's eyes are Heterochromic due to her great Grandmother being a Seeker. Beyond that, she has white freckles that cross her nose and her body is covered in scars from the many battles she's endured over the span of her lifetime, her ears are torn in places and she has three piercings; Two on her left ear and one on her right.

Clothing Style: Fenrir's casual clothing is almost always black or red. She prefers comfort over style and will usually be seen in a loose fitting tunic with a simple pair of slacks and boots. She's always seen wearing a pair of goggles atop her head that she'll pull down and wear in combat situations. She also wears a black leather collar and matching cuffs for no other reason other than comfort and style.

Personality

Fenrir is a strong, assertive woman, in most situations she is the one in control of what's going on, whether it's serving her company, or protecting her family it's quite evident that this Keeper has a fire that drives her forward in whatever she does.

That isn't to say she's not without humor- It's not uncommon for Fenrir to tease couples or crack a few jokes in front of those around her- It's quite evident that Fenrir has spent a great deal of time on the road as she seems to have an acceptance for those from all walks of life.

Fenrir does have a softer side to her. While most may see Fen as a very loud, outspoken individual, when she's with those she cares for, or those in need she shows a very maternal side- choosing to offer a comforting embrace and a lullaby when necessary.

Friends

Yuki Ittetsu -(Raen, Au Ra) Yuki is one of the loves of Fenrir's life. Having met one fateful day in Ul'dah where she helped Yuki get her coin back from a con-artist, she's stood at Yuki's side as a guardian and as a lover since then.

K'aila Riki - (Seeker of The Sun) K'aila is the second love of Fenrir's life. Fenrir first met K'aila when she and Yuki joined the Free Company Kindred. Fenrir from the moment she met K'aila knew they'd be good friends as they were kindred spirits. Through teasing, taunting and flirting, both herself and Yuki began to develop feelings for the Seeker that eventually turned into a full-fledged relationship in which Fenrir cares for both of the women she has come to love and adore.

Nailah Quill (Au Ra / Highlander ♀)
The leader of the Free Company, The Kindred. Fenrir holds her in high regard.

Cirina Malqir (Au Ra / Xaela ♀)
Fenrir respects Ciri and her power as both a caster and as a person. She's also the one who informed her that Yuki was pregnant with her cub, which brought a great deal of joy to the Keeper.

Jilan Layali

A fellow Keeper that Fen quite enjoys chatting with.

  • "Fenrir is.....stubborn, cocky, a worrywort and a hopeless flirt. And all of these things make her one of the most reliable and wonderful women I've ever known. She's the best friend or partner ye could ever ask for, but just be mindful not to get on her bad side. She's got a vengeance like Rhalgr himself." ~K'aila Riki
  • "I think she tries too hard sometimes. She doesn't want to feel like she owes anyone anything, or that she needs help from anyone for anything. But, she's really nice and helpful, and I've seen her do more for others than I've ever seen anyone do." ~Yuki Ittetsu

History & Background

Though she had humble beginnings as a merchant's child, that did not stop the young Miqo'te from wanting more. Her adventure first began when she was fifteen summers old.

She left home not knowing that it was likely that she'd never speak to her parents or brothers again, leaving on bad terms over her choice to move to Limsa Lominsa as an adventurer instead of carrying on the tradition that her parents had begun.

Fenrir once held a different name - When she left home, she changed it so as to disconnect herself from her family- she hasn't heard or spoken her birth name since.

Throughout the years, Fenrir grew into a strong woman who'd seen and endured both hardships and some of the greatest joys that Eorzea had to offer- From being captured and almost sold as a slave to capturing criminals, Fenrir has spent most of her adult life fighting for survival. Her fighting spirit is best reflected in her singing, whether it be a joyful tune about sailing the sea, or a song about being lonely, it's quite evident that Fenrir has the soul of a Bard.

In the recent years, Fenrir has turned from a hardened mercenary focused on making enough coin for herself, to a woman of respectable reputation- having found the Free Company Kindred, she's started to work to care for her lovers, Yuki and K'aila, and pull her weight not just as a hired gun, but also as a member of her company.
