This gives him the opportunity to strike at a foe without being seen. (High-Mastery magic users may be able to dodge) This skill also enables Szhiid'ir to scout out an area without drawing attention to himself or his company. Combat Abilities ● Flaming Arrow: Szhiid'ir lights his arrowhead on fire, aiming the furious point at his foe. (Those with high agility or good hearing may be able to dodge) ● Shade Shift: Szhiid'ir creates several 'shadow' versions of himself. Whilst in hindsight they may look very little like him, in the moment some foes may consider them to be the 'real' Szhiid'ir - these clones cannot harm, but they can feign attacks and move on their own. (Magic users will be able to silence/cancel this effect) OOC Note For combat-RP I prefer to go by emotes, rather than the use of spells unless taking down large groups of mobs for area clearing. The actions which Szhiid'ir will use in fights will often have nothing to do with in-game spells and abilities.

History . Disclaimer: . Sixth Astral Era Childhood Szhiid'ir and his family lived a rather isolated, non-ordinary life as a single-family tribe unit. His mother was removed from her tribal setting upon being found infertile and cripplingly injured. She instead took to aiding Miqo'te cubs which had been either handed off, or left abandoned without a family to take care of them themselves. Because of this upbringing, Szhiid'ir's links with other Keepers, or even Seekers for that matter, are rather thin - he has knowledge of their ways of life, but has never had those traditions forced upon him, due to how his family was so different in the beginning. When his time came to leave, just as his brothers had, to pursue dreams, find mates and what-not, Szhiid'ir found himself too trusting of stranger-folk, and was in fact taken against his will and forced to work as a slave, being transported willy-nilly aboard slave ships from owner to owner until he was eventually liberated. Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood In his adult life he has taken to bringing down the very same type of men which had shackled him to those ships. His work in bounty hunting has also led him through various caves and lost-cities, in search of fiends, friends and treasure. His unique upbringing has opened doors for him to new opportunities - to meet folk of all walks of life, including the more 'usual' Keepers and Seekers alike and to learn from them as he may. ( ✔ ) - "My mother..- For the longest time, the only woman that I had ever known, was Aszhi. She taught me how to fend for myself, despite never being much of a fighter, herself - she taught me compassion, grace and even though some might say that I tend to abandon her teachings, if I returned home without them I'd be scolded like a cub. She's still one of the few people that I hold above myself in respect, love and admiration. We are not related by blood, but she has always cared for my brothers and I as if she'd toiled for months and months for our arrival. ( ✔ ) - "Zihla'to is kind enough to me, when compared to Khuja'a, even though he is the eldest beneath him - he's been gone for a while but it's so easy to slip back into standing with him - I don't need to worry about being lectured for failures which I haven't committed, and he treats me like an equal, as any friend would. Now if only I could get him to understand my relationship with Alcohol as much as he understands my relationship with women." Description Ezrhil'li Molkot, Brother. ( ✔ ) - "Ah.. I was never too close with Ezrhil'li. I couldn't see myself hating him, because he's family, but he's not my favourite sibling. There isn't much more I can say about him." Description Hawu'sae Molkot, Brother. ( ✔ ) - "He's got an issue with Khuja'a as well as I have, however, he has some kind of past with him, which to me seems like a far-fetched tale. He's kind, and sees me for my personality before my age." Description Kheda'ra Molkot, Brother. ( ✔ ) - "Kheda'ra, if I was to describe him, the first word that comes to mind is 'Brother'. That sounds strange, doesn't it? I have lots of brothers, and yet he is the one who I see as my closest, strongest relation. We've had many-a-night drinking in Limsa as friends, and as of late, in his new business he's offered to supply me with his creations for my work, as if he were a colleague. I can't remember a time when he has not been there for me, whether it's for company, finances or emergency." Description Yhabi Molkot, Sister. Whilst I try to treat her as equally as I can in order to set an example for my brothers, I've been known to be one of the worst when it comes to intervening in her life, breaking a few noses here and there. She's often excluded from our outings due to her age, and.. well, her gender, unfortunately." Description C'mahiin Tia ( ✔ ) - The Hunter "A skilled hunter, no doubt. Whilst I've never seen him in action, he seems to know what he's talking about. Even if the majority of our initial conversation was the pair of us pointing out our differences, I think that if I were in a spot of trouble, I could depend on what most might consider an unlikely friend in C'mahiin." Description Vera Tala ( ✔ ) - Wolfmother "The woman with the wolf..- She's quiet, and perhaps a little bit isolated, but she is not one of those anti-social types. Hopefully as I get to know her, she'll spark a bit more of my interest - so far, she's a pretty face with a very strong protective urge for nature, from what I gather." Description Nazzhund Solkbyrtsyn ( ✔ ) - The Bottom of the Bottle "You can't miss Nazzhund in a room. As he put it, he looks as though he's strapped a pink chocobo's rear to his head, and he isn't wrong. Normally, friendly faces are just waiting for the right time to take what they want from you, and leave. However, Nazzhund defended me and my friends, when a group of poorly educated Au Ra decided that it would be a brilliant idea to pull weapons on us in the Coffin. Even still, with the humour comes a heavy heart with Nazzhund, and I hope that someone, someday can help him through his internal battles." Description W'mine Mihata ( ❣ ) - Miss Adventure "She's a woman with far more wanderlust in her veins than I think I've ever had in my entire life. She may be shy, delicately so, but she is no damsel - I keep finding myself at her heels, and I hope that we'll have plenty of stories to tell, assuming she doesn't get sick of my company. She's almost had me killed three times, the least I can do is throw a few near-death excitement her way." Emreg managed, perhaps because of the mouth on him - he's certainly not quiet about his thoughts. Through getting in and out of her chair, a wardrobe change and the theft of my hat, 'Sisi was a hard one to keep my eye on..- perhaps because of Zuzu's presence at my hip. Still, Sisi has a good, witty head atop her tiny shoulders and I intend to keep her pinned for another few drinks in future." She is a sight for sore eyes from a distance, however.. my interaction with her proved to be akin to that of tip-toeing around a sleeping Coeurl. She's a delicate flower, too many walls to break down just to say hello." Description Reno Fawn ( ❣ ) - O Captain "I had met her through Nazzhund, and I was surprised to see such a beautiful woman heading the title 'Captain'. Most Captains that I'd met had been haggard old men with enough nose hair to build a beard. Reno surprised me..- she had a sense of humour and a lovely lack of shame, suiting up in one of the Saucer's Bunny costumes in front of the entire Quicksand, upon my expression of interest in the ladies that do so in the Saucer itself. Nazz wasn't drinking and it's not as though I'd be drinking alone. R'khei happened to yawn rather loud in front of our little 'party', and caught my attention. I'm glad she came after me; whilst I'm not all that sentimental, and I'm certainly not a poet, having her around has given me a new outlook on things. I suppose it's nice having a little bit more of a purpose than gil and ale."
