Lex scarcely knows this Seeker, so little that he commonly mispronounces Reid's surname. Despite the lack of bonding, the two became hitched after a night neither of them remember. It must have been either good enough or some kind of dare: nobody knows. Ultimately, neither are serious about it and instead use it as an excuse to drop in on one another even if just for the sole reason of purposely being inconvenient.
Emegen is Lex's younger sister who grew up with him in the Dothral tribe. The two of them work together in running illicit contracts, making up for the kinds of jobs in which Lex is not suited for. She is more outgoing and friendly than he is and the pair can be viewed as two sides of the same coin.
