Say Hello to Kero

Keroa has been around since long before the Calamity. Being a normally withdrawn individual, she does not make many attempts to reach out and forge new connections with people. The few whom she does know, she came to meet through Arky in one way or another.

• History : When asked about where she comes from, she will likely tell you that she's been with Arky since her early childhood, and that seems to be all she's willing to divulge of the topic. She found citizenship with Ul'dah some time before the Calamity. When she first arrived she was with two others, Arky and Nanokie, the latter of which was believed to be their sibling. As not many know about her, there has been no need to clarify their relationship. However a large part of Keroa's responsibilities at the time was helping Arky procure scented oils and tinctures to help hide his masculine scent, since, at the time, it was considered widely taboo for male miqo'te to travel the world freely, and the trio feared the consequences of being discovered. Since the recent emergence of male Miqo'te, Keroa enjoys teasing Arky about his "cross dressing" tendancies, even going so far as to threatening to spray perfume on him.
• Fall of Dalamud : After the fall of the Allagan Satellite cause a rampaging Bahamut to sear the land, Keroa who has once been, (and still is) a well versed Thaumaturge/black mage, was forced to take up the bow and arrow. Arky had developed an acute case of Aether sickness, and any use of magic, conjury or manipulation of Aether would make him violently ill. This was the determining factor that caused Keroa to lay down her staff.
• A Realm Reborn : Not much has changed of her physical appearance from then and now. She is not one to openly engage in social activities and is mostly about on the field doing one mission or another gathering coin for a purpose as yet unknown. the few times she can be seen to sit still she can most often be found at a table my herself, buried in a pile of books and paper, seeming to be studying for something. No matter where you find her she will most likely always be wearing a wide brimmed hat. The few exceptions to this rule are if she is in the presence of high class citizens, or inside where the windows are scarce.
• A New Skillset:Through perseverance, training, and the aid of many hats, Keroa was able to overcome her weakness with the bow. She has become quite proficient with the art of Archery and has even taken tutelage under a once well known bard. Though she would be the first to tell you that she is under practiced, Arky has sung praises of her aim. If questioned she would say that she is not entirely ready to give up the arts of Magic, and in fact on rare occasions one could bear witness to her prowess of the Black Arts if she were in a mood most foul.

Appearance

Being a Keeper of the Moon she bears all the natural physical signs a s such. Wide dilated eyes, more pronounced fangs from her Keeper cousins and even her tail betrays her Keeper lineage, a white tipped tail.

Body :

• Keroa is fairly short, as far as Miqo'te are concerned, her build is thin and her movements bespeak a new found flexibility that was attained through her use of the bow.
• If one would be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of her bare back, one would notice the strange tattoo that seems to mark several adventurers attendance to the Calamity.

Face :

• Though one would not notice at a first glance her eyes are hetero chromatic, the left being a deep green and the right blue.
• Keroa bears a 'beauty mark' below her left eye, accompanied by classic miqo'te stripes, three upon each cheek.
• Can most recently be seen wearing a lilac shade of facepaint, although she hasn't quite divulged why.

Hair, Ears, and Tail:

• short blonde hair with long frontal locks, kept in check by silver clasps. On occassion she will swap the silver for a gold tinted clasp.
• Blode ears to accentuate the short hair on her head, most often seen wearing earrings of which resemble cherry blossoms.
• Her tail is of average length and has no unique qualitites, save for its pale tip.

Clothing and Accessories :

• One constant thing you will almost always see her wearing is a wide brimmed, feathered hat. If she plans to stay in a cities walls for a time, you can often see her wearing a skirt with leggings, accompanied by a loose fitting velveteen shirt. Her choice of neck accessory bears a decadent filigree heart resting upon a black leather choker, accented by a red heart with a small gem inlaid to it. However, as she is most often afield, it is not unusual to see her wearing the garb of which she has been most recently been crawling through caves in.

Behavior

• Not one to openly reach out and forge companionship, it is rare to see her strike up a conversation. Usually her mood is telegraphed through the language of her tail and ears. Unless directly spoken to, she will not usually speak, however if you hit the right topic has been known to go on one hell of a tangent.

• she has most recently taken to carrying her bow with her everywhere she goes.

• Most often will be found at the Wench or the Sands (the former being her more popular choice) Buried in her books. In these cases if one were to stand close and listen, they could hear her talking to herself as she scribbles on her papers.

Combat

• Keroa is loathe to relinquish her hard earned Dark Magics, and would just as soon toss a fireball at an enemy as put an arrow in their throat. both cases normally call for a bit of distance, but she wouldn't pause to improvise in close quarters if need be.

• Arky is the only family known to Keroa.

Relationships (Player Characters)

• Arky Mosuke: It is unclear exactly what relationship these two have, it is obvious that they know each other very well.

• Haruki Aoyuki: A rather silent male miqo'te whom she has only met recently. Conversation between them is mostly nonverbal, much to Keroa's chagrin.

• Roswyn Valhuri: A young Miqo'te that Keroa met the same day she me Ao. She has been kind enough to help her keep an eye on troublesome Arky

• Lambert Arkwright: One that Kero would sooner forget existed. Her many nicknames for him are "Redheaded Voidsent" "Twelves damned Redhead" and most recently "The Dullard"
