General Information

Seb is a classic Xaela of the Qestir tribe, choosing not to speak as per the tribe's traditions. He will however, interact with people speaking to him and is quite amicable to respond with body language, often signing simply with shapes drawn with his hands in the air, or motions. He will also draw simple pictures to aid description if need be.

Appearance

Seb is fairly tall, with red hair that he pushes back over his head and braids at the back. His skin is pale, scales dark, and light grey freckles on his cheeks and nose. His eyes are a very light grey/white, with black limbal rings around the outside. He likes to wear neutral coloured clothing, enjoying a soft poncho the most.

Mannerisms

Seb is a friendly person, contrary to his first impressions. He can sometimes come across as accidentally rude since he doesn't speak, so will often greet people with a warm smile to show he means no harm.

Philosophy & Ideals

Seb follows his tribe's traditions and does not speak, but he will interact with others, responding to their conversation with movements. While he doesn't particularly wear Qestiri colours, he will often wear a scarf over his face, when he isn't drinking that is.

Early Life

Childhood

Seb was born on the Steppe, within the Qestir tribe in Reunion. He would swim, hunt and learn to ride horses from a young age, as well as helping his tribe run Reunion.

Adolescence

At 18/19 years old he was becoming tired of being tied down by his tribe, not wanting to become a merchant at Reunion he would travel the Steppes hunting with his axe. Ended up making friends with Khoga while out hunting and the two would go around the Steppe together a lot. He would begin to travel further away, bringing back Yanxian tiger skins and the like for the merchants to use and sell. The merchants would like this but the Qestir members worried he was going too far. Their fears were realised when one day he went out and never returned. Rumours were spread, and Khoga went out to scout for him. He saw the Imperials' base and feared he could have been taken by them. He tried getting closer without being spotted, and saw Seb being pushed about along with a group of Domans, his axe being taken away and his arms tied behind his back. It looked like they were being transported, but Khoga didn't know where and he couldn't stick around to find out. He reported what he saw back in Reunion, but the tribe couldn't or wouldn't do anything about it. By the time Khoga went back to check on Seb, he was nowhere to be found at the base. Seb had been taken to a camp, forced to work by the army, lead by a fearsome woman who kept her face hidden. He eventually fought to escape, fleeing for his life with a small group of Domans who helped him escape. They all made their way to Kugane and onto a ship to Limsa, stowing away in crates for two months. It caused Seb's hatred of ships and his seasickness.

Adulthood

Upon his arrival in Limsa, he headed for the Marauder's guild to get his axe back. They trained him, and his inner beast controlled by his aether. He taught himself to read, but remained true to his Qestir traditions as he still felt like he belonged to the tribe, even if he wasn't on the Steppes.

Seb has been spending time socialising and making friends, as well as going on adventures with a group of them.

Rhetigeim Redd ✿♫✔ Seb met Rhetigeim at Camp Bronze Lake, and kept running into her at various bars across Eorzea. The two have shared conversation together every time they meet. He has grown a considerable amount of affection for her, however she seems to think of him as a brother. Rafael Delavega ♫✔ Seb met Rafael at a bar one night, and after the curious bard had talked to him a while, he had grown to like the Qestir for his gentle personality. They have since been on adventures together. K'alayah Xiaan ♫✔ Seb met K'alayah through Rafael, and he has accompanied them on a number of adventures together. K'alayah has also helped Seb greatly with training.		Ryu Matsumoto ♫✔ Seb met Ryu at the Goblet pools, and ended up becoming one of his best friends. Seb and Ryu make a great team, with Ryu being extremely loud and compensating for Seb's quietness. Khitai ♫✔ Seb met Khitai at a bar one night, and his brother Xaela showed him a lot of respect for being Qestir. Khoga of the Buduga ♫✔ One of Seb's childhood friends. Seb and Khoga hung out together on the Steppes at the age of 18-19 (Seb) and 21-22 (Khoga). Khoga gave Seb his name of Sebujir.
