Though short, slim and all around petite, Lalah is not a physical force to be reckoned with. Having lived in the wilds of the East Shroud all her life has made her hands callused and reflexes sharp. More importantly for her trade, she is fast with sure steps and a steady hand. While she may not carry the bulk of someone typically seen as "strong," one only need feel her arm to realize the muscle hidden beneath - a fact she is very proud of and enjoys showing off.
With hair a brilliant white and eyes bright blue, the huntress is but a younger clone of her mother and aunt, (a rare set of identical twins). Yet unlike her maternal family's, her hair does have a slight silvery highlight to it that is passed down from her blood-father. Underneath her bangs she bares black Keeper's paint, as is tradition within her tribe. And much like the rest of her clan, her eye are extremely sensitive to light. Even during the cloudiest daytime hours Lalah almost always refuses to walk about unless it can't be helped. It's unsurprising then that a walk through the Sagolii is not on her list of things to do.
Scars & Markings: Most noticeably is the scar across the bridge of her nose, a result from an untimely distraction while grappling with frantic prey. She keeps it covered with a bandage out of habit and mild self-consciousness. Her other scars include various scratches and gashes that have healed into faint lines across her forearms, torso, and thighs. Her skin is so pale that they're not apparent unless you're closely examining her body.
Voice: Able to pitch high or low but most usually at a mezzo-soprano, Lalah's voice actress Miyuki Sawashiro (Milla Maxwell from Tales of Xillia/Mordred from Fate/Apocrypha) portrays her well with dramatic intonations.
Clothing: Practical clothes only. She has a dislike of anything excessive and refuses to even entertain the idea of putting on layered, frilly, or embellished dresses that she sees other women wear. Not to say it doesn’t look good on them of course! That said, eye-catching earrings are a weakness of her’s and she doesn't mind the concept of dressing nicely, so long as it is strictly simple and easy to move in.
At her most well known, Lalah is confident and rambunctious. One might think she likes to avoid crowds given her nocturnal nature but on the contrary, people are an endless source of entertainment for her. Greeting strangers, striking up conversations with the bartender, or flirting with passersby are all within her norm.
However having grown up in isolation from a large majority of Eorzea and it's rules, she does fall far outside the realm of "typical" social grace. She speaks her mind to the point of being considered blunt and rude, (though it is important to note that she is very rarely malicious in it) and likes to make sure her opinions are known. For example: she is very vocal in her beliefs that repressing oneself or one’s desires for the sake of others is, overall, a stupid practice. So long as no one is being unnecessarily harmed, what does it matter? Yet at the same time, she adheres to the usual basics of manners; please, thank you, you’re welcome etc. are part of her vocabulary - at least in some form or another.
What comes from knowing her as beyond an acquaintance is a more languid personality. Sure, she’s still perfectly peppy and full of mischievous grins but this Lalah has no problem taking hour long cat naps or procrastinating on a task in favor of something more enjoyable. With her lowest level of trust comes comfort with physical contact; her arm slung around your shoulder, hands held as she drags you off, etcetera. But the more trustworthy you are, the more these casual encounters intensify - so don't be surprised if she's using you as a human pillow before long. Should she find you particularly attractive you might have the privilege to skipping to that final tier of touches, including but not limited to: playing with your hair, tugging on clothes for attention, and leaning exceptionally close as if she's waiting to steal a kiss. This is more common with women as Lalah is noticeably more interested in those of her own gender but in theory, she likes men too. The problem is finding a man up to her extremely high standards where as it's very hard to find a woman that she doesn't consider her "type."
In terms of conventional romantic relationships, Lalah is non-monogamous and has no intention of ever changing that. Flings before feelings are more her style but if a connection develops beyond skinship, she's happy to follow it so long as her partner won't limit her lifestyle. In this matter, she's always very up front and will make a point of bringing it up more than once so she can't be accused of "cheating" later on.
