Valris is a highly empathetic spirit, with absolutely no direction in life, and no compass on where he should go. He’s kind-hearted, and typically goes out of his way to help others to the best of his abilities if at all possible. Typically gets into a lot of trouble for it, especially due to his unconventional demeanor and general disregard for social convention. Borderline alcoholic. Dancer. Model. He works as a bodyguard-for-hire and does odd-jobs between his duties. His greatest wish is to make something of his life--to be someone that actually mattered.
Scars & Markings: Two large scars adorn the front and back of both of his palms, which he conceals by nearly always wearing gloves.
Clothing: Black and gold. Loves darker clothes and brilliant jewelry. Doesn't really have too much of a preference for what he wears. When given the option, he tends to go for loose-fitting shirts, exposing his chest usually. He likes to take in the sun, he says. Otherwise, any other clothes that he wears are usually quite fashionable, and are decided/given to him by his adopted sister.

Valris' father. An ex-hero of sorts, he abandoned his life of fame and fortune to raise Valris. Becoming all but forgotten by a few from the older generation, he travels the realm in relative obscurity, helping out where he can until his dying breath, as a form of penance for his past mistakes.
Valris' childhood friend turned adoptive sister. In their adolescence, Haelbryda's parents became terminally ill. Her parents being close to Drowsy Inferno, they asked him to look after her on their deathbeds. With Drowsy taking her under his wing, the trio then traveled the realm together. Haelbryda eventually parted to pursue her career in fashion, and is now a highly successful Master Weaver. Valris works with her from time-to-time, as her designated male model (half as pity because he's usually jobless, and half because he make an excellent model, much to her reluctant approval).
Old Beardo( ♥ )( PC ) - Enigmatic Weird God-Uncle (?)
Existing as primarily a myth, a man, or a legend, Old Beardo is sort of an Uncle figure for Valris. Despite how renowned he is, not much about him is known, other than that he and Drowsy Inferno used to be an adventuring duo way back in the day, called the Blind Eyes (as reference to the fact that both of them are blind in one eye). Some say he killed a dragon with his BEAR fists. Some say his pompadour is held of by sheer force of will, rather than hairgel. Some say he might even be a long, lost Manderville. One thing's for certain though, and that's that no one can land a sick ollie-kickflip-twister-9000 on a scooter like Old Beardo can. Oh. And that he's naked a lot for some reason. You get used to it.
