:: Aisha's mother U'shaira was a huntress from Forgotten Springs who was captured by slavers and sold to a merchant named Lutz in Ul'dah as a housegirl and concubine, Lutz was a perverse fellow who had a penchant for wanting to watch his miqo'te slaves mate with each other while he watched, this resulted in U'shaira becoming pregnant by one of Lutz's gladiators a powerful warrior Lutz had purchased at a young age and knowing little of miqo'te naming conventions, named him K'lank'lan because he thought it was funnyThough the two met and were forced to mate eventually they came to care for each other and U'aisha was welcomed into the world on 16/1/1557
+
:: Aisha's birth was less than auspicious, her mother U'shaira was a former Ranger of the Drake who was banished from the tribe for orchestrating the death of another ranger to gain position in mating with the Nunh, making her way eventually to Ul'dah she settled into life as a prostitute and tavern wench in some of the seedier bars and brothels.  Aisha's birth was an accident, a fact which the bitter woman made abundantly clear to Aisha as soon as she was capable of understanding speech.  Aisha was primarily raised by the other more compassionate women in the Ul'dahni underworld who would often care for Aisha while her mother turned tricks at Nanawa Mines and other places of low patronage.  As soon as Aisha was able to walk she did all she could to spend as much time away from her mother as possible, turning to the streets as a home and the other street urchins as her familyThis arrangement suited her mother just fine, and the two rarely saw each other and spoke less so.

:: Being born into a home such as Lutz's as a slave was not the best of environments for a young miqo'te girl and U'aisha was exposed to a lot of terrible imagery and hard lessons from an early age, being forced to serve her master wine while her father fought and bled in the arena and seeing the look of fear and hopelessness in her mother's eyes whenever Lutz called upon her steeled the little girl's heart and mind.  However despite such a rough childhood U'aisha parent's and espeically her mother did everything possible to teach thier daughter of what it meant to be a miqo'te and instilled in her an iron will that was meant to support her through her life under Lutz's roof.
+
:: Even with such a negligent mother Aisha was known by the "girls around town" as a feisty and precocious little girl, mimicking thier dances and songs as she watched them entertain and picking up on the subtle social cues that would indicate dangerous situations or deadbeat johns, by the time she was 6 Aisha already knew most songs and games played by the courtesans and doxies of Ul'dah and how to mark johns for fleecing and where to lay low from abusive pimps and Brass Blades

::As U'aisha grew older and the supple beauty and lithe grace from her mother, astonishing power and breakneck speed from her father became manifest U'shaira could see the attention the dirty old hyur was beginning to show to her precious daughter.  Knowing that she would not be able to keep U'aisha out of Lutz's grasp for much longer, U'shaira and K'lank'lan devised a plot to escape with thier daughter to Forgotten Springs and be free from Ul'dah and Lutz forever.  However a rival for U'shaira's position as Lutz's favored among the girls stumbled upon and revealed the plan to her master.  A fight ensued between U'aisha's parents and Lutz's guards, a terrifying scene for U'aisha who didn't fully understand what was going on.  As U'shaira and K'lank'lan began to be overhwelmed by Lutz's men and the Brass Blades on the take, U'saira and her mate bleeding from numerous wounds both turned to thier daughter, as the armed men closed in U'shaira looked to K'lan'klan and hugged U'aisha close.  K'lank'lan joined and in what seemed a moment of a family giving up the powerful warrior took both his mate and his daughter in his arms and threw them over the wall into a darkened alley behind.  Not missing a beat U'shaira picked up her daughter and ran as fast as she could away from Lutz's compound.  The grief stricken look on her fathers face as he threw his family over the wall, was the last time U'aisha ever saw her father.

:: Aisha's time learning the streets and how to play people from the streetwalkers of Ul'dah served her well when she she fell in with a small gang of street urchins run by a serious little boy named Quietus Angel.  The odd-eyed refugee from Ala Mihgo took a bunch of wandering guttersnipes and alley cats and brought them together into a group for mututal protection and cameraderie.  Eventually the small band formed themselves into a close knit family with Aisha and Quietus seen as the mom and dad of the group.  This annoyed the pair to no end as neither of them saw any kind of romance between each other, Quietus too serious and Aisha far too flighty and flirty.  However both still carried a love and respect for each other that cemented into a familial bond.

:: U'shaira managed to escape with her daughter but at the cost of her mate and her health. The grievious wounds she suffered in the escape quickly caught up with her and forced her to be bedridden in a tiny tent in Lost Hope outside of Black Brush Station, the only place she felt she could take U'aisha out of the reach of Lutz.  With no money and no way to work U'aisha was forced to rely upon the charity and kindness of others in keeping her mother alive, despite U'shaira's protests and demands that U'aisha leave her and make her way south to Forgotten SpringsU'aisha promised herself that she would return to the U tribe with her mother and as such began begging in the settlements outside of Ul'dah, try though as she might U'aisha could not keep her mother alive and sat with her as she passed quietly in the night a week after thier escapeAfter several days and verging on starvation U'aisha decided to pick the pocket of a travelling merchant but was discovered and beaten by his bodyguards, as she she lay on the ground outside the Coffer and Coffin cursing her existence she looked up and into the mismatched eyes of a boy.  The boy who found her, Quietus Angel, the leader of a street gang filled with other displaced and orphaned youths helped her up, tended her wounds and took her home.  And from then on U'aisha learned from Quietus how to survive on the streets, how to fight guards and other gangs with tooth and nail and how to be clever and steal from merchants and tourists.  During that year, U'aisha's fourteenth, she discovered her feelings for Quietus and he ended up becoming U'aisha's first crush.

::  As Aisha grew older and her body began to mature she easily saw the advatages her looks and training gave her and began working as a small time entertainer around Ul'dahKnowing as well she could make a sustantial amount of coin offering her body as a service as well Aisha considered joining the ranks of Ul'dah's streetwalkers, however Quietus begged her not to as he felt she was above that kind of work and did not want her to all into the same circles as her mother.  Loving her brother and respecting his opinion and wishies Aisha promised him that she would not and for a time she and her small family of fellow punks from Pearl Lane lived as well a life as one could on the streets of Ul'dah

::  The time with Quietus' gang honed U'aisha's ability and will further and in a personal ceremony of which only QUietus was allowed to witness, U'aisha vowed on the grave of her mother to return to Forgotten Springs and until then cast off her tribal name, deciding that she would earn it, and from that point she became Aisha K'lank'lan, with this new resolve and her determination set Aisha felt she had one more obstacle to climb.  Her burgeoning love for Quietus.

::  Then, came the Calamity

:: As Dalamud hung low in the sky, bringing with it dread and terror, Aisha decided to finally reveal her true feelings for the boy who saved her not just from some thugs, but a slow death from depression, leaving a note on his bedroll Aisha made her way to the oasis near Drybone, there she decided she would meet with Quietus reveal her feelings and share her body with him, before the moon fell and the world ended.  However, Quietus and other members of his gang got into a serious fight earlier that day and had been arrested, Aisha, not knowing this waited all night for him not knowing his fate until she returned to Ul'dah.  The Flame General Raubhan had given Quietus and his friends a choice, die for thier crimes on the executioners block or fight and win thier freedom on the fields of Carteneau facing down the remnants of the 7th Legion.  Quietus departed for Carteneau that night having never read Aisha's note

::  The time Quietus spent killing Snapping Gator and saving Aisha gave the Brass Blades time to corral and capture everyone, additionally Quietus' killing of a Brass Blade commander had placed he and his friends who were captured with him in a no-win predicament.  With Teledji Adaledji screaming to have the ruffians executed, Raubhan gave Quietus' group a choice: Die by the gallows in shame or face the Garleans in battle as conscripts to the Immortal Flames on the fields of Carteneau and have a chance at freedom.  While Aisha waited in the empty hovel the gang called home, Quietus and the others were shipped off to Carteneau, without even the chance to say goodbye.  It wasn't until days later that Aisha learned of what happened, and as the red moon loomed in the sky overhead and Ul'dah descended further into chaos, Aisha now separated from the only family she had left; cried as the world ended

:: With the destruction wrought by the Calamity and life even as she new it in tatters Aisha lost her will and succumbed to hoplessness.  Desiring nothing more than to just not be alone anymore and forgetting all about the promise she made to go to Forgotten Springs, Aisha went back to the only home she had every truly knownThe house of Lutz.  However Lutz himself died in the Calamity and his house was left to his eldest son Camren, even though the Calamity uprooted the economy the family was able to maintain a sizeable amount of wealth and Camren, who remembered Aisha and her mother as being particulay beautiful was more than happy to accept Aisha within his home, placing her as a house servant and demanding her body as a concubine.  Believing Quietus dead and caring only for her survival Aisha gave herself to Camren, believing that it would secure her survival.  However Camren was a fickle man and after several months grew tired of Aisha, when a business partner offered to pay a decent sum for the slave girl Camren agreed with little hesitation and Aisha was then sold to another man who then lost his fortune and sold Aisha to another and as the fortunes of Ul'dah fluctuated over the course of the year so to did Aisha's list of masters until finally she had been gifted as part of a larger transaction to a rogeadyn pimp named Snapping Gator.
+
:: Following the Calamity Aisha found herself alone and in despair, her brother was lost on the fields of Carteneau and she soon discovered her mother had committed suicide not long after the red moon's fallAs the people of Ul'dah struggled to get thier lives in order and she herself longed for security and succor, a greasy merchant laid a hand on her thigh after a show at the Coffer and Coffin, believing her brother dead and hearing the gold jingling in the man's purse Aisha put her head down and smiled a glass smile while the man slipped his hand farther up her skirt.

:: Looking out of the window of the seedy brothel on Pearl Lane that had become her home, waiting on her next john Aisha had accepted that not only had she failed her parents and herself, but also that she was likely going to spend the rest of her days as a common whore serving the desires of men and women who cared nothing for her save as an outlet.  She nursed the cut on her lip from the last time Gator slapped her and tears began to well up in her eyes, tears she quickly had to stifle as she heard a knock at the door.  It was Gator, leading up her next job.  Aisha stood up and straightened her dress, trying to keep hold of some vestige of dignity, determined that if this was her life now she would make it work, she would blow this man's mind and have him coming back for more, have him begging and pleading for another night with her, offering Gator all the money he had to take her away and make her his... Then the door opened and Quietus walked in
+
:: Never one to do anything halfway, the next several months saw Aisha spiral into a pit of depravity.  Telling herself it was sheer pragmatism, not loneilness or heartache that lead her down this path, Aisha hired herself out to whoever would want her, sometimes for nothing more than a meal and a bed.  She ignored the pangs of guilt she felt from breaking her promise to Quietus by telling herself he was dead and dead people couldn't hold grudges, and when she looked in the mirror she refused to see her mother painting her eyes and tightening up her boddice in the same manner, eventually she found herself settled with a hyur pimp named Geralt at the Coffer and Coffin as a popular tavern wench, serving drinks in the common room and serving men in her rented room in the back, Aisha allowed herself to sink into a mire of depression, soon enough seeing herself as nothing but a common whore...just like her mother...just like she deserved

::  While serving drinks at the Coffer and Coffin Aisha spotted a lonely looking roegadyn sitting in the corner, seeing a possible opportunity to make some extra money Aisha approached the stranger and began laying on the charm.  The hulking man who called himself Ralganor Wrynvald rebuffed her advances by telling Aisha she was better than the life she had chosen.  Angry and embarassed by a stranger voicing her heart's words Aisha smashed a mug over his head and stormed out of the bar...and right into Quietus Angel, who was standing outside.  Seeing her brother alive at first filled her with elation, then the realization hit her that he knew what she had been doing, knew she had broken her promise and the knowledge knocked her to the ground as surely as if Quietus had physically hit her.

::  After Aisha calmed down she took Quietus to her room behind the Coffer, telling Geralt he was her customer, a lie whoch even the act of telling it made her sick as she saw the look on Geralt's face, the look of a man expecting decent coin from Aisha again comforting the loneliness of a Carteneau veteran.  In Aisha's room Quietus explained to her how he had survived the Massacre at Carteneau and had aligned himself with Ralganor, taking the months needed to recover from his injuries his first thought was of his sister in Ul'dah and he came back as quickly as he was able.  Aisha and Quietus had a heated discussion concerning her current status as exactly what she promised her brother she would never become, and worse what she promised herself she would never become...just like her mother.  The intensity and emotion of the moment broke Asiah finally and for the first time since she looked up in the skies to see the Red Moon falling to earth and praying for the saftey of her brother and her friends she cried, she cried almost until no breath or tears were left within her and fell asleep out of pure exhaustion, Quietus falling alseep beside her and becoming the only man up to that point that Aisha slept next to and not with

::  The next morning Aisha made the decision to follow Quietus wherever we would go and remove herself from the life she had created, get away from Ul'dah a place of so many bad memories and unquiet ghosts of the past...one barrier remained; Geralt, Aisha's pimp.  While Aisha advised tact and diplomacy in her leaving the Coffer, when Geralt slapped her for attempting to leave him Quietus and Ralganor who had stayed behind figured that where diplomacy failed generous applications of violence would fill in the gaps.  Then ensuing barrom brawl between Quietus, Ralganor, Geralt, his bodyguard and the Brass Blades in the bar at that time is considered to be legendary in certain Ul'dhani fight circles to this very day.  Regardless however, out numbered and out bladed by Geralt's forces, the trio of Quietus, Aisha and Ralganor were forced to beat a hasty retreat all the way to Vesper Bay with drunkards, thugs and corrupt Brass Blades in hot pursuit they used what coin the had and purchased passage to Limsa Lominsa

Descent into despair 1572-UE 0

In the weeks leading up to the fall of Dalamud, Aisha, Quietus and thier gang continued to get into ever escalating street wars with rival gangs as the chaos became more and more intense. Aisha rarely got involved with such things as she never saw herself as a fighter, but when ambushed by a group looking to establish themselves on Pearl Lane as a dominant group, Aisha was cut off from her friends as the Brass Blades descended into the fracas to break it up. Cornered by a nasty roegadyn named Snapping Gator, she was saved at the last moment by Quietus who used a broken spear to kill the brute. Following the Calamity Aisha found herself alone and in despair, her brother was lost on the fields of Carteneau and she soon discovered her mother had committed suicide not long after the red moon's fall. As the people of Ul'dah struggled to get thier lives in order and she herself longed for security and succor, a greasy merchant laid a hand on her thigh after a show at the Coffer and Coffin, believing her brother dead and hearing the gold jingling in the man's purse Aisha put her head down and smiled a glass smile while the man slipped his hand farther up her skirt.
Never one to do anything halfway, the next several months saw Aisha spiral into a pit of depravity.

Escape from Ul'dah UE 0-1

While serving drinks at the Coffer and Coffin Aisha spotted a lonely looking roegadyn sitting in the corner, seeing a possible opportunity to make some extra money Aisha approached the stranger and began laying on the charm.
After Aisha calmed down she took Quietus to her room behind the Coffer, telling Geralt he was her customer, a lie whoch even the act of telling it made her sick as she saw the look on Geralt's face, the look of a man expecting decent coin from Aisha again comforting the loneliness of a Carteneau veteran. The intensity and emotion of the moment broke Asiah finally and for the first time since she looked up in the skies to see the Red Moon falling to earth and praying for the saftey of her brother and her friends she cried, she cried almost until no breath or tears were left within her and fell asleep out of pure exhaustion, Quietus falling alseep beside her and becoming the only man up to that point that Aisha slept next to and not with
The next morning Aisha made the decision to follow Quietus wherever we would go and remove herself from the life she had created, get away from Ul'dah a place of so many bad memories and unquiet ghosts of the past...one barrier remained; Geralt, Aisha's pimp.

RELATIONS

Romantic Interest     Platonic Love      Good Standing     Poor Standing
Quietus Angel : "The first guy I ever fell in love with." *straight face* "No joke. I don't see him that way now, haven't for a long time, partially because of Sumomo, partially because he's knows me better than anyone and that kind of love goes beyond lovers and beyond family." *big grin* He's my Big Bro!"
Ralganor Wrynvald : "The Bloodcurdling Beefcake Emperor!" *laughs* "Really though he's only the second man I've ever trusted and if it wasn't for him Big Bro and I would be buzzard chow, he has my devotion and more importantly my respect and I can count the people I respect on one hand and still have fingers left
Sumomo Momo : "My Bestie! Sumomo is the mom of our weird little family, she's tough but you just want to cuddle around her and let her snuggle you. She's one of the few people I can be a total girl with and she makes my brother very happy which means the world to me."
Fanged Demon : *blushes a bit and caresses her shoulder* "He's my boy, and I'm his girl...hehe Met him in a random hunting party and then like boom here we are. He's sweet and loving, and a bit of a goofball. I'm afraid that I'm going to hurt him being who I am but he just smiles at me and says he loves me...Yeah I like that."
