Journal and Stories The Start of the Journey A New Brown Leather Journal Where am I? “I rose this morning to find myself in a room that was not mine, a place that was not familer to me, and surrounded by strangers. As I sat up in bed the care taker of the place came in, I soon learn his name to be Baderon. Baderon San is the owner of this fine establishment, the Drowning Wench. Though I do not understand the meaning of the name, I am sure it was named after someone he must hold dear because he is at his happiest when at work. He was also kind enough to provide me with this Journal, which I requested. As I set out for my quest to find my parents, I pray that if something does happen to me this Journal will find its way to them to give them closure.” “I do not wish to feel that I am a burden to these kind strangers, so after talking to Baderon San, we decided on a few things I should be able to manage given my skill levels. The first thing he told me is to seek out one of the local guilds in the area and handed me the list. These guilds will help me grow and train me to protect myself as I journey forward. The first guild I came to was called The Marauder's Guild north of the Inn. The place reeked of sweat and a faint hint of blood. Upon making eye contact with their leader, i'm sorry to say, I turned tail and ran. I just could not stand the thought of being in that place, swinging a broad weapon, and smelling of sweat. The leader was also very tall and strong looking, and though i'm sure he is a nice person, the passion in his eyes scared me. The next place on my list was called The Rogue's Guild, however I was unable to locate it. After stumbling around all day in the hot sun I sat down by the edge to look over the sea. The salt air was is nice and warm as it washed over my face. I never got to see the ocean, even though I was told I was found washed ashore. Is it possible I have lost some memories? Oh dear Dawn Father, look after and protect my family and me.” “After walking around some more tying to remember how I ended up in the water, I looked up to find I had arrived at the Arcanist's Guild. Knowing this is my last chance to join a guild, and not wanting to go back to the Marauder's guild, I walked through the door with my head held high! To my astonishment I found BOOKS!! Books among books of wisdom I have yet to tap into! OH, how I can not write into words how my heart jumped with joy. Suddenly, a wonderful lady stood before me whose name I learned to be Thubyrgeim Sensei. This towering lady is as kind as she is noble, and was more than happy to welcome me into her guild. She took me to a room below were she gave me my book and instructed me on how to summon. It took me only one try and to my amazement a shimmering blue creature appeared before me. This cute little creature stays by my side and will not leave! Now I know I will never be alone. Thubyrgeim Sensei praised me on being able to summon on my first try. She proclaimed me a protoge but i'm sure my years of training at my family's Red Shrine of the Dawn Father has more to do with it. Thank you, Dawn Father for looking out for me.♥♥♥” Hope Upon taking a quest from Baderon San i found myself in a forest village known as Gardana. Under the advice of Baderon San is seeked out the keeper of this Inn whom name is known as Mother M for assistance in my quest.I normally would not trouble other people but I find myself still terrified of this unknown land. Mother M is a very kind Elezen that takes care of people, like myself, who are new to Gardana. After lessening to my request, she informed me she had the perfect person for the task of guiding me and instructed me to enjoy the town as she sends word. I departed with my carbuncal, Shimmer, after she directed me to the market. The market was so much fun, I hid among the crowd looking the beautiful jewelry until I made my way just outside to rest on some crates. It was not long after talking to shimmer, questioning the whereabouts of my guide when he appeared before me! He was a Rean just as I am! My heart stopped for a moment as time stood still, for I could not believe there are others of my kind here. He was very tall with dark skin that made his eyes shine like a northern hawks of my land. History . Disclaimer: The places and names in this are not found in the lour of the game outside of region and are in no way owned or effect the game story in any way. Sixth Astral Era Childhood Deep in the valleys of Othard's mountainous eastern reaches there is a small valley home of The Red Shrine of The Dawn Father. Here a small baby girl was born to a Priest and Priestess of the small shrine. She was raised to be the heir to the family's shrine. As a single child, she was doted on by her parents, her mother mentored her in the training of respect and Dances to perform in her teen age. Her father taught her the fortune telling, rituals, reading and writing.. Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood During her early teen years her parents started to press more studies on her including other languages. Before she could farther her shrine training her small shrine was invaded and her dad was taken. Her mother, now with child, fled with her that faithful night. They escaped by a small boat in a river near the shrine and floated away from the invaders down river. From here Kimiko Sakura has lost her memories on what happen but found herself waking up at the inn in Limsa. You can follow her story in the Journal tab. In Recent Times Moving Forward Currently looking for companionship in her quest to be reunited with her parents. She wants to gain the power to find and protect them.
