P E R S O N A L I T Y

Quiet, tense, tends to get straight to the point. Somewhat of a bore, actually. Perhaps he wouldn't be if someone had the patience to coax him out of his shell. No one has the patience to coax him out of his shell. (It takes a lot of coaxing). Good thing he's content with solitude - mostly. He's impulsively honest, sometimes to the point of being tactless, even hurtful or harsh. He's working on that. Sort of. When he can bring himself to care.
Typically good at keeping a neutral expression when uncomfortable or upset, but his body language - if one pays attention - can give him away. Capable of putting petty feelings aside, he'll work with even those he hates if they're on the same team without thinking of doing otherwise. He expects likewise, and will be quick to anger if he doesn't receive the same treatment. His pride will rarely let him ask for help if he needs it, however it will not stop him from accepting help if offered. There is a sense of humor and a surprisingly genuine smile underneath that serious demeanor, but again, it's a matter of patience to get him to reveal such things.

A P P E A R A N C E

He is fairly tall for an Au Ra - although certainly some would be taller than him. He is somewhat slender, but still quite obviously in good shape, sporting a toned, wiry physique. His dark blue hair fades to black at the ends, most likely dyed, although he doesn't seem the type to care about such things. He has a preference for dark clothes of a relatively neutral shade, and avoids bright or vibrant colours when he can. As would be expected of Xaela, his horns, scales and tail are black.

L I K E S ■ Quiet time. While he seems relatively content to sit near the edges of a busy room and observe, he's usually more content to relax on his own, or with few others. ■ Sweet things. While his preference is for fruit and pastries, he seems to eat a lot of candies. Largely due to a certain co-worker of his. ■ Drawing. Something passed to him from his mother. He often finds himself drawing little snippets of his home, mostly the same few people. He finds it meditative. This is linked largely with the first 'like.'

D I S L I K E S ■ Drunks. They're loud, obnoxious, and occasionally throw up on you. Or dare other men to spank you. ■ Alchohol. It tastes funny, and he prefers to keep his wits about him. That isn't to say he never drinks, just rarely, and often reluctantly. ■ Idiots. How can people be so dense?

Q U I R K S ■ When ladies flirt.... Although he's not interested - or perhaps because he's not - he's extremely uncomfortable with being hit on by women. Often times he'll just freeze up, mutter an excuse, then walk away. Qucikly. ■ Sweeth tooth.. He seems almost ashamed of it. ■ Cataloging (?). He keeps tabs on the people he works with, interacts with frequently, or considers otherwise noteworthy. Most are a small sketch on a page, surrounded by notes in Xaelic.
