Character
Motto
"Don't waste your time, or time will waste you."
Corelyn is intent on spending every moment possible on improving herself and her knowledge. This goes hand in hand with her combat style - a second wasted can be a second too late to finish invoking a pattern or incantation.
Appearance
Corelyn is a short, slight girl in her mid-twenties. She's not one to stand out very quickly in a crowd, though she has a vague potential about her, though she tends to keep to a simple appearance, hiding behind a somewhat homely, if not darker, appearance. She wears black eyeliner and lipstick, and her tightly-kept blonde hair is tipped in black dye, the rest highlighted darkly. She has dark black tattoos beside each eye. At a closer glance, they would appear to cover some sort of scars. It is unclear if she does or does not have any further tattoos. She has various piercings: Her bottom lip is pierced one on both sides, her ears both multiple times, one in her left nostril and two in her right eyebrow, though the last are hidden by her hair. A pair of dark-rimmed glasses always perches atop her nose, her teal eyes gazing studiously forth from behind them, perpetually analyzing her surroundings, as if deconstructing everything around her down to numbers and figures.
She keeps to modest clothing to avoid unwanted attention, hiding small bits of protective leather armour beneath to protect her in her travels. She is never seen without a tome, grimoire, or other such book, as well as multiple writing implements kept safe in a satchel at her waist.
Behaviour
Corelyn is fairly awkward in social situations, and therefore avoids them - often to the point of taking on dangerous activities in order to avoid social contact - often so, to the point of phobic behaviour. She is highly analytic and incredibly blunt, often making her seem emotionless or apathetic in her scientific approach. However, she is far from emotionless, as she is wont to display a wide variety of rather animated reactions to situations in which she may find herself.
Combat
Incredibly skilled in various arts of arcane and aetheric nature, Corelyn is said to be able to work miracles with her grimoires, creating or destroying objects, conjuring forth raw elements and even lesser primal forces associated with them, healing wounds, and many things the like of which have not been seen for ages. However, in her ambition, she sometimes forgets to test certain glyphs and geometric patterns associated with the spells the she creates herself, she may sometimes invoke an untested spell that may well backfire more often than not.
