Information

Elyscia Rose is a country bumpkin, and a very inept and inexperienced girl who often keeps to herself. Raised by a Hyur family in a little, close-minded, Hyur-only community.

When she finally left her village the people she met along her journeys, in the small towns and big cities, were perplexed to find just how naive and ignorant she was to everything outside of the safe little countryside community she refused to call 'home'.

Elyscia Rose: Eh-Lie-Sea-Ah or E-lie-shah (depending on how vocally cat-like your Miqo'te is)

Height: 5 fulms 2 ilms

Body: Not one to remain static, Elyscia constantly found activities for herself and was a well-active farm-girl; she'd spend most of her days making use of her miqo'te grace and power by climbing-up trees, and poking pugil fish with a stick before running away from them. Elyscia had been malnourished, though not visibly obvious anymore, she remains skinny lithe and petite, looking healthier than she did before as her face is fuller to show her youthful appearance. Typical of Seeker of the Sun skintones she has a rose-tinted complexion, and isn't prone to tanning easily.

Face: Though a simple countryside bumpkin with not much impressive about her, Elyscia's notable features are her firey-red hair, and her stunning, bright, rich green and wide eyes, filled with an ever-curious, almost child-like expression.

Attire: "Green.. Did'ja choose it 'cause o' me eyes?" A green tabard is her signature wear, and one of her most treasured and sentimentally-valued items, as it was the very first thing someone had bought her something.

Character and Outward Appearances and Personality

This category is spoiler-free and details everything you would first notice about Elyscia Rose upon meeting her. This is from her physique, to quirks, mannerisms, and the way she speaks.

Voice: Miqo'te genetically speak with a slight hissing/spitting sound, which is present in Elyscia's voice, but barely so as she grew-up in a hyur-community.

Her accent makes her voice inadvertently whimsical as her country dialect is very tonal. It's hard to pinpoint exactly how she chooses which words to say higher or lower, but the pattern seems to be; low/normal tone, then every third word said in a higher-tone - of course it varies depending on what's being said. Her colourful vocalbulary is full of profanities that would impress a pirate, and though rather tomboyish sounding at times, her voice is somewhat dulcet. As she has spent most of her time in the city and with a learned man who never swears, she has been less prone to using profanities - until she speaks to her sister.

Demeanour: Towards new people, Elyscia will be sceptical and cautious which may be misinterpreted as being shy, and she will perhaps be even rude and blunt to others but that is more due to the fact she has not learned city etiquette and manners. There are certain races she will be considerably wary of, but she tries her best not to show it and even going as far as to giving them a chance - depending on her mood. It is peculiar and not quite understood why she's fond of Lalafells

Quirks: Elyscia constantly has her tail coiled around her somewhere; either draping around her waist or hips, thigh, 'glued' to the back of her leg, or she would even hold it in her hand never allowing it 'loose' or swaying around freely.

Relationships

K'laka Tia - Many titles were used by Elyscia to name this male miqo'te: 'Babysitter', 'mister,' 'aldgoat,' 'teacher,' and now 'partner.'

He appeared out of nowhere and offered to help her stand on her own two feet, getting her bearings around the despicable dog-eat-dog world which is Ul'Dahn life. It was discovered much later that Momodi convinced K'laka to lend a hand to Elyscia because of their similar struggles in life, and due to a debt he owed to Momodi herself and the Guild, forcing the miqo'te man to take her as a charge and ward relationship. However, they both could not stand each other: he would call her an insufferable whelp amoungst many other names, and she would call him a Godsdamned aldgoat as well as a multitude of swears. They both would insult each other; far too stubborn and with senseless pride to ever let-up, boiling each other's blood and even becoming almost physically aggressive towards one another. The heat finally simmered when Elyscia showed an interest in learning to read and write where they both discovered that they enjoyed one another's company immensely when they're not arguing.

Eventually, they developed feelings for each other which was revealed during a particularly stressful period of their lifes

K'laka is Elyscia's first love, and she hopes he will be her last and only. Though their lives are currently suffering through a particularly dramatic, hard, and stressful point, their relationship grows stronger and the two always seems to come out on-top, as with every event they realise how they can't imagine their future without the other, and are falling deeper and deeper in-love.

Sarah Sparrow - Estranged for most of their life, Elyscia reunited with her older sister upon fate. Despite them being different races entirely, they will often argue with others that they look alike by usually pointing out their red hair.

The sisters were best friends when they were children, but around the age of six, Sarah one day would refuse to talk or even acknowledge her - even going as far as to join-in with the other children and pick-on the young miqo'te, and would be one of the reasons for Elyscia's withdrawn personality. The last time Sarah acknowledged Elyscia was during a particular event when they were teenagers that lead to Sarah leaving the village for good; something that confused the girl so much that it would stew and turn into hatred and anger; Elyscia could never forgive her and she grew bitter.

Sarah is one of Elyscia's sources of confidence and comfort; when she's around her sister she can clutch around her arm or hand and feel brave enough to talk to other hyurs or people in-general where normally she would never do so, and where she can be herself. Though they are generally on friendly terms, the sister's are stressed when it comes to Elyscia's love - K'laka - as Sarah hates him, and in-turn he hates Sarah.

As much as Elyscia loves her sister, she stills finds it hard to trust her completely.
