Basic Info

Ensetsu Hakuuchi is a man who likes to throw his considerable weight around. He delights in cruelty, but abhors cowardice. Despite his passion for violence, he loathes individuals who pick on those weaker than them, but less for any moral or ethical conviction and more as a reaction to what he perceives as pettiness or weakness. He harbors a deep contempt for those who think themselves strong and yet seek to prey exclusively on the weak. He is immensely fond of terrorizing those who fancy themselves above the feeling of terror, and when he is on the trail of a promising mark he is relentless in stalking them and merciless in his attentions.

History

It is clear to any who enter his confidence enough to witness him in his vulnerable moments that he has been through some deeply damaging formative experiences, but it is nearly impossible to extract from him any manner of information which might illuminate the source of his inner demons.

Personality

Ensetsu is a cruel and sadistic man possessed of a dark yet vital humor. He is fond of somnus, fond of fogweed, fond of tobacco, fond of liquor, and fond of little else. He has a difficult and complex relationship with men of soft and gentle natures, seeming both drawn to them and repulsed by even the sight of them. He is vocal about his love for his job and the freedom it affords him in the pursuit of one of his favorite hobbies, the disproportionate punishment of those who flaunt their contempt for his sense of propriety and his authority to exert this upon all who he surveys.

Affiliations

Ensetsu works for Yvon Desvallieres at The Fury's Rest tavern, a job he harbors enough enthusiasm for to ensure that he remains thoroughly loyal to his employer--which, incidentally, does prevent him from expressing the full extent of his hatred for the owner's cousin Cassius Cato.

He has been sighted in the company of Ayin'a Quist, an individual with whom he seems to have a rather intense relationship of some sort.
