Build: Athletic, with wiry muscles that have just a little more bulk than most Midlander females.
Distinctive Marks
Away from the homelands of her tribe, Eva's colouration is rather distinctive. Beyond that, there is a dark coloured tattoo on her left cheek, while a scar runs from just above the bridge of her nose down to just below her right eye. She also has a small birthmark to the left and below her right eye.
Equipment/Apparel
On the battlefield, she prefers to wear a mixture of plate, chain and leather armours and often is carrying either a large lance or a large axe of some sort. Very rarely, she'll use a sword or her bare fists as a last resort.
Off the battlefield, she tends to wear mostly cloth and leather attire, and prefers pants and shorts over skirts.
Abilities
Like most of her tribe in the deserts of Thanalan, Eva learned to fight primarily with two-handed axes, rather than swords and shields. While some of the older members of the tribe were proficient with the lance, it was only after the tribe found a wounded Dragoon, she took an interest in the martial style, which lead her to the forest city of Gridania; she has become a citizen, and trained for years with the Lancer guild.
Surprisingly, Eva has a remarkable singing voice, and her spoken word is rather enchanting as well...however she does very little of either in large crowds.

Eva was born into a wandering tribe of Hyur known as the B'Eam-aeyans. The majority of their lineage has been a rather even mixture of Highlander and Midlander, however since the sacking of Ala Mhigo the mountain blood has been thinning in the new generations' veins. Her mother was nearly full-blooded Midlander, while her father had quite a bit of Highlander in his blood; although Eva is just shy of being a quarter-Highlander, some of their physique has blended with her Midlander appearances.
Several years ago, Eva left the B'Em-aeyans to study lancing at the guild in Gridania. For most of that time, she's had very little contact with her people, and only recently began traveling between Gridania, Ul'dah and Limsa Lominsa.
Currently
For several years, Eva has been a member of the Lancers' Guild in Gridania, although her mountain desert heritage often shows in her fighting style, which is slightly different from the Gridanians' style.
Beliefs
The B'Eam-aeyan tribe honours Oschon, the Wanderer above the other Twelve, and feel a close connection with the God due to their nomadic lifestyle. Even if one develops an affinity for a different member of the Twelve, they still pray and make offerings to Oschon, especially when traveling.
Eva developed a strong affinity for Azeyma, the Warden at an early age, likely do to her fiery spirit. To denote her faith to the Warden, Eva wears mostly golden jewelry, and uses a golden ceremonial fan during offerings and prayers.

Biography
Early Life
Born into the nomadic tribe known as the B'Eam-aeyans, Eva spent most of her young life wandering the desert plains and mountains of Thanalan amid her people. While most of the year was spent traveling with just extended family and a few guests from other tribes, the entire B'Eam-aeyan nation would gather together for certain holiday celebrations - some secular, and others non-secular.
The desert can be both cruel and beautiful all at once, and thus tempers her children into being much the same. Although she learned feminine arts like music, crafts and cooking, Eva was also trained in the tribe's martial arts that focused primarily around the two-handed axe and the spear. While their style with the axe was very advanced, their spear style was unfocused and very primitive in comparison, while their sword work was barely past the basic levels. She focused primarily on music and the axe, as she found them to be more elegant than the rest of the arts.
Death is a common friend in the desert, and while the B'Eam-aeyans had a deep respect for Death, they also did not fear or mourn it the same way most peoples do; instead of mourning the loss of life, they celebrate their ancestors' lives yet have very little in the way of comforting words when someone passes into the Great Beyond, which leads many outsiders to find them cold when faced with the death of another.
Some time after her fourteenth birthday, the tribe found a Dragoon who had been left for dead in the north western region of Thanalan.
