Ezrah accommodated his Ishgardian counterpart, and only interacted with the Elezen when business demanded it. Ezrah also shifted the direction of the company from mercenaries to freelancers, hoping to broaden the scope of the kind of work available to them. He also changed the name of the company to the Emberlight Venture Company to better reflect this change. |

The Dragonsong war was heating up, and many of the members longed to join their countrymen in the conflict. Ezrah would have gladly allowed Raus and his men to part ways and be on their own business, but as a final act Raus took half of the gil stored in the company coffers, claiming that half of the earning were rightfully the Dragonwatch's. Ezrah would not abide this, and persued the Watch across the border into Coerthas to reclaim their gil with half a dozen of his best fighters. |

Taking refuge in a small cave, the Emberlights huddled around a small fire to wait out the storm. In the night, the Dragonwatch attacked, killing all the members of the Emberlight company save Ezrah. Raus spared the young leader, but issued a warning that they were to never come after them again. | |

As he sat close to the dying fire, he reflected on all those he had known who were not lost, and those who remained scattered to the wind across the realm. He would return to Thanalan soon to retire the company he inherited from Ronik and accept what future the fates would give him. |

Ezrah's Apartment and OfficeAfter signing on with the Shrouded Phoenix freecompany, Ezrah has turned a room in the company house into his own apartment and office. The flat is small, but comfortable, with a small living and dining area at the front and two private rooms at the back. One room he keeps as his private chambers, while the other operates as his office, which contains many effects from the Emberlight Venture Company. The chamber’s small chandelier leaves the chambers dimly lit, but Ezrah has small lanterns spread around the flat to provide a comfortable amount of light. Common Rumors
