He’s typically seen wearing loose fitting work clothes, a belt that is overflowing with tools and other necessities, and more importantly - a pair of goggles either sitting on his forehead or over his eyes. It’s hard to find him without some form of grin on his face. He also has a peculiar accent, one of a working class man from far away that he picked up from his adoptive father. Scars & Markings: A scratch on his cheek when he got in a fight with a rooster. A long cut from collarbone to his belly button. A series of cuts along his back, ala a whip's wounds. He is missing his left arm from the upper arm, and in its place has a magitek arm of special design by his teacher. His hands are always covered with heavy duty gloves and his feet a good pair of boots (the one thing he'll spoil himself on). He always has his goggles with him, whether it be around his neck or over his eyes or over his forehead. Neither sibling remembers much of their real parents beyond the scars that Felix holds from abuse on his back; they don’t particularly identify very well with their heritage. At a young age Felix was taught hard work and a little elbow grease gets most things in life done from his adoptive father, which both children called affectionately ‘Ozzy’. Life on the farm was rather warm and welcome, though when his sister fell ill their father seemed to more and more disappear off on travels to find something to help her. No conjurer, no medicine, no treatment seemed to ward off the sickness. There were times when the siblings were left to themselves for long periods, wondering when Oswald would be back. What little they saw of him was quick and fleeting - a hug, a reassurance, a small token as a gift from far away, and as always, something that never really helped Paula’s illness. The last time Oswald left, he handed Felix his pair of work goggles and told him to take care of them for him before never coming back. Though as soon as Oswald was gone, the duo would find that he left behind a rather large debt in the hands of many families, gangs, and businesses, leaving the siblings to claw their way out of it. There really was no explanation for the debt and Felix had always assumed it was the worst - drugs, women, gambling. With the boy old enough to work, that’s all he could do to ward off the debt collectors from taking what home they had, as well as taking care of his sick sister. He's had a few more than lingering jobs since - from mercenary groups to the Serpents - though has found more success and comfort in opening his own shop. It welcomes all those looking for a crafting need, from airship parts to furniture. Oswald Bendixen ( ♥ ♠) ( NPC ) - Adoptive Father The man that adopted Felix and Paula very early on in their lives. A drunkard man who isn't home very often, spending money the family doesn't have. He is on some sort of mission, but whatever it is, Felix doesn't care for it. Persi Lux Zartosht ( ♦ ) ( NPC ) - Zoroaster A halfbreed Garlean that has taken Felix under his wings in engineering. His teacher. A very curious fellow who doesn't seem to like Felix's father. Knows a lot more than he lets on. Felix assumes Persi knows all the things. PC Framboise Zakuro ( ♥ ) - Peaceful Lass A woman Felix once considered his life partner, and has since disappeared. He still has the ring he planned on giving her. His feelings are mixed on what to do in regards to her disappearance. Talisa Serra ( ♥) - High Heeled Heart The Vice President of Atlas. A minor crush.
