General Information A stern face and stalwart heart Hildegarde serves Ishgard now a Cavalry officer since her resignation from the Inquisition. Many find her stern attitude and look unapproachable but those who stick beside her often find themselves a comrade for life. ❝ Afterall, we were at war. ❞ Appearance Eyes Hair Skin Build Voice Blue. Hair & Eyes Hilde’s hair and eyes follow the same Lohengrin traits that seem to be prevalent in the family, Black hair and blue eyes. However, Hilde has tendency not to keep a style for too long changing it on a regular basis. Physique & Markings Hilde has a rather athletic physic, something that has come from her inherent physical lifestyle as a knight. It is unknown if the Baroness has any scars on her as no one has seen much which lies beneath the armour. Hygiene & Attire Hildegarde presents herself in a rather neat fashion at all times. The woman is partial to be waring various suits of armour of varying styles depending on what task she is performing and where. An overall style that could be considered rather pragmatic. Personality Psychological Profile No man woman or child could go through a life of war without some kind of problems, Hilde is no different. Her time in the Inquisition forced her to bear witness and be responsible for the deaths of hundreds of people, innocent and not. The Baroness claiming that it was for the greater good. Though Hilde may be slightly jaded in the face of death she still feels massive amounts of guilt for the many she has pushed to their death. Voice Stern, calm, commanding and charismatic are all. Hilde speaks in a rather polite manner however, when forced into frustration curses may rear their ugly heads. Philosophy & Mannerisms Hildegarde has a forward looking philosophy on life. Mistakes were made both big and small in her past, something she will not let weigh heavily upon her as she helps forge ahead a new path. With sufficient concerntration the excess aether can be shot forward in a beam of purpleish-blue light. ● Blackwyrm Lash: (Gunblade) A wide arcing horizontal attack accompanied by a ripple of purple fiery explosions. An attack used to scorch the enemy more than to slash at them. ● Rending Strike: (Gunblade & Longsword) A long diagonal tearing strike utilising the dragonfyre steel blade to tear into the armour of a foe. ● Parry Barrier: (All weapons) A small barrier of hardened aether projected with the off hand to deflect a blow of an opponents attack. OOC Note I don’t much like pvp but if it comes down to it, I prefer to roll off to keep things fair and interesting.

History . Disclaimer: . Sixth Astral Era Childhood Hilde’s childhood would have been like any other Ishgardian nobles had her mother not died in childbirth with her younger sister. Hildegarde was mostly raised by her father, squiring for him from the age of ten. Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood Hilde had grown into a fully fledge knight, moved into service of the inquisition. Hildegarde spent the time during the Dragonsong war combatting heresy, fighting harriers and strong-arming people away in raids. However, with the death of her father in the final years of the war, Hilde resigned from the inquisition to take the reins of her house as its Scion. In Recent Times Moving Forward Today Hildegarde serves as a Cavalry officer within the Temple Knights, a position from which she directs and controls patrols of mounted knights and escorts for Ishgard’s Caravans. With new knowledge of her houses history and a curious dragonet, Hilde moves forward with a renewed purpose to restrengthen the bond between man and Dragon.

I guess there was nothing I could ever do to help her." Hildegarde’s younger sister, a troubled girl whom was never quite right. Hilde wanted to help her but they only drifted appart. Wilhelm Lohengrin, Older Brother. ( ✖ ) - The Royal Pain. Character's Thoughts: " Where do I start? Playboy, troublemaker, lawbreaker. He has forsaken our house, our country, his vows. Father was right to cast him out, yet he still persists a thorn in my side " (NPC) Older than Hilde by two years, Wilhelm is by far the most troublesome of all Hilde’s family. A man who is quick to get himself into trouble only to swing the family name about. Alphonse Lohengrin, Eldest Brother. ( ✔ ) - of the Wyvern’s Tail. Character's Thoughts: " The only family member I have left that I feel like cares. A knight dragoon and a man of honour, at least he takes the time to visit me from time to time.." (NPC) The eldest of the Lohengrin children, Alphones is a career knight dragoon sworn to hold no lands or titles. A calm and collected gentlemen with an eye for reading and methodical games, he is the only family member who seems to think highly of Hilde. Acquaintances Vilette Laurentb> Close Friend. ( ✔ ) - Knight-Captain. Character's Thoughts: " A wonderous woman, famous and an expert swordswoman. Vilette is someone I am glad to have as a close friend. I would trust her with my life in battle and I hope she would trust me.”." (Player) Vilette was one of the first friends Hilde had made off her own back as well as one of the first to address her so casually. Hilde is fond of Vilette’s swordsmanship and personality and will always listen to her advice. Fiona Delaine, Close Friend. ( ✔ ) - Lore Wyrm. Character's Thoughts: " Fiona.. Asah Lye.. Fi, whatever she’s called. A curious wyrm whom catches my attention. I find her flightiness and high spirits rather endearing and a good distraction.." (Player) The black dragon Asah Lye befriended Hilde during her time out exercising a chocobo. A casual conversation melted Hilde’s walls with dragonfire, the two quickly becoming the best of friends. They even made a snowman (and dragon). Ohl Khai, Dragon Child. ( ✔ ) - The Lord of the Skies. Character's Thoughts: "Apparently his name means ‘Sad Bone’, weird. But I suppose to find a dragon sleeping in my house is rather ‘weird’ to say the least. I feel somewhat bad for the little guy, no parents, no bothers or sisters. All I can hope to do is offer him my love so he may live and grow strong." (NPC) Hilde’s somewhat pet Dragonet, a creature with the temperament of a dog combined with the ego of a king. Character's Thoughts: "Father was a good man, honourable and kind. He always pushed himself to do the right thing. The boots he haft left are so big I sometimes feel like I will never fill them, I can only hope I can pass from this life knowing I have done him proud." (NPC) Hilde’s father, mentor and former head of House Lohengrin. Wulfgar was a man of Honour and Duty, renowned for his swordsmanship and bravado. He met his unfortunate end after a wound wrought by dragonclaw during a battle to save his men festered leaving him sick in bed.
