Her mother steps up and is taken instead and has not been heard from since. Hina fled into Kugane where she runs into an old family friend, and comrade of her father in the Sekiseigumi. Hina slowly begins to train and grow accustomed to life in Kugane, and over time earns a spot within the Sekiseigumi at age 20. She is currently ranked at Sergeant Major. She is still on the lookout for any information on her missing mother, and the Garleans that attacked the village. Patiently waiting for the chance to get back at the garleans when she can.
