Due to years of isolation through her childhood she is not good with large groups of people but pushes herself to try and socialize. She is very approachable but tends to stutter or fidget if she's caught off guard. She has an innate distaste for sand and desert climates and would rather spend her time nestled in the trees of Gridania or under to cool sea winds of Costa Del Sol. Her bangs are cut neatly and pinned with a hair ornament that was given to her my someone she holds dear. She tends to hide behind her long flowing locks when embarrassed. Her eyes are a soft green that are surrounded by rich forest green umbral rings. Physique & Markings Due to lack of major physical training, Illyriana is frail and thin boned. Her weight is very low and due to her tiny voice and meek stature is often jokingly compared to a leaf on the breeze. Her ivory white scales gently line her body in a common fashion but has a small plate of scales located under her bust that is normally covered by clothing. Hygiene & Attire Illyriana tends to stay in pristine condition, always choosing to fight from afar to avoid the dirt and grime of battle. Her preference tends to be loose, flowing drapes of fabric that make it easy for her to feel the wind's kiss on her skin. She, however, does also tend to have a fondness of a good corset and pair of shorts, but always favors Rose Pink Dye. Personality Psychological Profile Extremely shy and seeing the world through a new light. Desperately want to connect with others, but don't know how or can't tolerate the anxiety that comes with human interaction. She will often push herself to being physically ill in an attempt to interact with others. Years of being shut off from the world has left her with little knowledge of how the rest of Eorzea revolves. Voice Illyriana is extremely soft spoken, her voice similar to that of a morning lark. Due to her meek appearance and low volume she often is misheard or not heard at all in large gatherings of people. She can occasionally be caught singing but will instantly stop if she notices anyone near by. Philosophy & Mannerisms Illyriana's philosophy is positivity and faith in one's self. Though she is a gentle ray of positivity, she tends to be very shy and soft spoken. Her philosophy is born from a need to further herself and honor the loss of a love once held dear. She strives to see the world for both of them but often runs away when she is overwhelmed. Preferences Likes ● Uldah's most beautiful table cloth, long walks though Gridania at night, and any place with lots of water. Dislikes ● Loud Noises and crowded spaces, desert heat, and having her personal space invaded. Skills ● Basic offensive and defensive magicks. Prefer's white arts over dark arts.

History . Disclaimer: . Sixth Astral Era Childhood Illyriana's exact age is unknown. She was found at sea, floating atop the wreckage of a recently pirated ship at roughly the age of 5. A band of cut throats and mercenaries retrieved her from the waters with intentions of selling her to make a profit until the leader's young son began to befriend her. After some difficulties the girl was allowed to stay due to her abilities to heal the wounded, even at such a young age. Illyriana was kept isolated due to her (at the time, unique appearance) and was left mostly alone. The only time she was allowed to stretch her legs and explore was if the band of mercenaries needed her for a hit they had to travel for; because of this she never disobeyed orders due to fear of not being able to see the world. Illyriana was befriended early on by the son of the mercenary troupe's leader. His name was Vhallen, a tall, strong bodied Highlander who would be her only real connection for almost 15 years. Vhallen and Illyriana would later fall in love, though their relationship had extreme difficulties due to their situation. Vhallen's only wish would be to give Illyriana her freedom, and hopefully in doing so also be able to claim her hand in marriage. One day Vhallen bought her a beautiful hair clip and upon receiving it she was told that this was a symbol of his truest affection; a promise to protect her, honor her, and some day make their love more than just cold nights in the deserts. Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood After the calamity hit things began to change rapidly. The leader of the bandit troupe became more hostile, aggitiave and aggressive. It was then that Vhallen, who had pleaded for Illyriana's place with the troupe took hold of her and they both went their own way... much to the angry of the bandits. Vhallen had noticed his father becoming further and further unhinged, his aggression occasionally being taken out on his troupe... but more so being taken out on the young Aura female. They scoured the deserts for days and nights, looking for places to bunker down as he lead his love further away from her old life... but all Vhallens dreams and wishes where ended abruptly. After being cornered by his father and his men, a horrible argument broke out. Screaming and yelling could be heard echoing through the barren deserts as they argued for hours, his father unhinged and ripe with worries of insurrection could not tolerate that his only son had disobeyed him. It was "Her fault". The half human creature had stolen his son, poisoned his mind, turned him against him... she had to die. Vhallen sprung to her defense and a fight raged for many hours in the old dark night of Thanalan. Vhallen was victorious in protecting Illyiana but payed the ultimate price, his death would give her the freedom he had always wanted for her... but now she was alone. Heart broken, alone, lost in a world she'd barely ever seen she managed to stumble into the black forest where she collapsed. After being found by a patrol of wood wailers she was taken to Gridania for healing and there she learned that there was more to life than robbing carts and harsh days in the desert sun. She could devote herself to something greater, something that would have made her fallen love proud. She would become a conjurer. In Recent Times Moving Forward Illyriana now devotes herself to the arts of magick. Mostly focusing on the healing arts and protective spells. Due to years of isolation she is shy and timid around those she does not know, but quickly warms up around people she has come to trust. She strives to live for the love she lost, honoring his memory with every step she takes forward on the path she's chosen. She has no idea what the future holds for her... but she can't wait to find out... slowly... because the world's still a pretty scary place after all.
